I purchased a Faber chimney which now requires repair and service. Despite my repeated complaints to the company service centre at Ludhiana they have not responded. I reside at Doraha which is located about 25 Km from Ludhiana.My contact number is[protected] Was this information helpful? | |

I am using Fabre Burners both at Mumbai and Goa.
Mumbai unit is working fine.
At Goa I have problem.
Built in lighters work irraticlly.Out of 4 Burners only 1 lighter works.
I got unit serviced some months ago. Problem reoccurs and every time
it is not possible to incur expenses of mechanic visit.
Can unit not be properly attended to or replaced?
Hoping company to respond.

I purchased the faber hood under lifetime warranty about a couple of years back.SL NO.[protected], MODEL-TOPAZ 850LTW. Since last week of August, 2011 this is down with some defect in the motor.Inspite of my chasing and repeated follow up till date this has not been rectified.I donot know how and whom to chase now?After mailing to Faber customer care service there is no response.The only option left is to approach consumer court.

i purchased a faber FM 660 built-in oven in may 2008. i didnt use the item for 3 yrs since i had shifted to some other place. Now that ive moved back to my house in blr, i tried to use it but is not working... i tried to call the customer service toll free,[protected] . and also many other numbers given in the internet, even their head off num [protected]. but none of the numbers are in use ... pls anybody share the customer care num. im really getting worried after reading all the comments above...
I purchased one Hob of Faber in 2009. Now most of the burners are not working. Auto ignition complaint.
Burners full of rust.
Service techs are least bothered of my complaint even after two weeks.
My humble request to all. Don't buy FABER HOB.
After sales service of FABER is very poor.
Be careful of their Very big advertisements.

I think i am also having same kind of bitter experience with Faber or better say Avon Marketing- Kolkata. I have purchased Faber Glassy910 on 8th Nov, 2011 which was installed on 16th Nov, by Avon Marketing-Kolkata. Unfortunately when installation was completed, there was no power supply for which i could not check the working demo o[censored]sing Faber as well as it's functionality. The Installation Engineer left after doing all official documentation. Once power resumed, i find that one of the bulb broken at the time of installation and suction was not as per the demo which i had seen at CASAOFICINA.
Subsequently i lodged a complain to their toll free no. There is so far three complain i have lodged so far related to broken bulb and suction issue. In my last call which is 3rd Dec, 2011, they found that the Housing of the Chimney was broken. The Engineer Mr. Mukesh called Avon to know the availability and the office confirmed that the parts is in stock. So Mr. Mukesh told that it will be replaced within next 2 days or in worst cases within a weeks time.
Till 28th Dec, They have not responded to my complain so far. In addition to that, Avon confirmed that Faber is making delay in sending the part as they do not have any stock.
I do not know what to do and whom to contact.
From the day one, i am facing problem purchasing No. 1 Brand in Chimney. It is a shame for my decision to purchase Faber.

I am Devendra Das, a client of Faber Chimney @ Chennai. My problem is there are a number of service centers and each of them call at least once day to enquire whether they can send a mechanic to clean the chimney..I receive on some days 5 to 10 calls.It is a disturbance and creates tension. On many days I felt and also expressed to the service center girls calling me whether the chimney was bought as a aid to remove the smoke from kitchen or for only cleaning every day
Don't go for Faber Chimney any more ...I haven't seen such poor service in my life .Today's merchandise is surviving on customer support .I wonder how theses people fail in this aspect .After calling several times to the customer care and after getting a compliant number each time, nobody bothered to come and repair the chimney . Shame on the company and their product .From Bangalore
