[Resolved]  Fake Call From Pakistan +92 Airtel — Fake calls for 25 lakhs lottery from airtel (but actually it is from pakistan)

I too received a fake kbc lottery scam call from a number [protected]. The guy imposed as mr. Kumar sharma from new delhi, bsnl office on behalf of kbc lottery. I asked how come he got my number. He replied that the head of the bsnl company participated in kbc lottery & my number is a golden number winning 25 lacs & he will give me a cheque from canada. He then told me to call on another number immediately & divulge my sensitive bank details & other information to claim the lottery prize. He also knew which state of india i reside in. I asked him how come i can get 25 lacs if i never applied in kbc. He was talking in urdu accent & in my gut i felt it was fishy/obnoxious. He said that i need to recharge my bsnl number from a rs200 recharge coupon & that for 3 days, bsnl will give free services to me. He gave me another number of bsnl company senior supervisor, rajesh balaji of mumbai, bandra branch.
He told me that he is updating my number in his computer & that i should switch off my number immediately & switch on next day at 8 am after recharging it with rs 200. Also i should not disclose the details to anyone until 25 lacs reach my account.
He also asked me in which bank i have an account. I answered vaguely & gave him wrong information. When i googled up i found it was a scam.
Similar calls were received by people in my city.in order to spread awareness i am sharing my story. When i traced the numbers, they were from karachi, pakistan. They deactivated some numbers from which they called me.
Please don't attend any calls from numbers starting with 0092.

I also got the fake call from [protected] pakistani number saying that this is call from airtel and my number is selected for airtel advertising scheme big lottery winner in which they select a random number and my number is selected. Today i'll get 25 lkh rupees in cash. He also gave me a his senior number called rahul sharm[protected], but i recognised this is fake call, there was children crying noise was coming from behind and that guy was not looking confident, when i asked that lottery name then he started to feel uncomfortable. Lastly i said i don't need your 25 lkh and then he suddenly cut the phone.

I got a call from[protected]Which is a pakistan number) and told that i have won a lottery of 25 lakh and told me to call the number he gave. The background sound that i heard was children crying then i immedietely call the helpline number for these fake calls '1963' and he told me about these fake call and shoud not be answered.

I got a call from mobile number[protected] today morning 11th feb 2016 at 09:05 am, he told over phone that he my number has been selected for lottery of rs. 25 lakh.

We dont know how these people scan our mobile numbers and give a calls. There shud be some catching legal eye for all such issues where we can register complaint againt such people and some authority shud be there to take action against these people who ditch people.

I received a fake phone call from pakistan phone no [protected] that my idea phone no win 25 lakhs in lottery and when i asked about his name address he said his name as vishal and the address nabad no other details he said. He also said you become muslim now.

I have two airtel connections and today i received call from this pakistan number 92, on my both numbers. My guess is, i was trying to check my wifi internet speed (Which is again airtel connection and both my mobiles were connected through wifi) from "http://www.speedtest.net" website and that is when receive call to my both numbers. I suspect there is link with "http://www.speedtest.net" and this fake calls from pakistan.

My guess is, i was checking my internet speed on the website "www.speedtest.net" by ookla and my both mobiles where connected through wifi, that is when i received the call from this 92 number. I guess there is some link between "speedtest.net" and pakistan number.

Told me they are from kbc and all and i won 2500000 rs lottery.. And i have to deposit rs 12000 for charges.. Its all fake... Please take action agains them..

Be aware of such calls n don't get trapped.

My sister in law is receiving call from pakistan from [protected], he is irritating her and calling her in every 5 minutes, I blocked his number from whatsapp and caller but now he started whatsapp and call through internet +[protected] & +4044, he is sending me messages and images of love and sending audio msg. This is too irritating and we are frustrated what to do because this number is from Pakistan . Please advise and FYI.

I just got a call from Karan Kumar sharma ph.no- [protected] to call Mr Rajesh Balaji at No.- +92 [protected], I was given one more no.-[protected] informing me that Narendra Modi, Susma Swaraj and Amitabh bachchan have conducted a lottary from KBC and My name is selected as No 6 for Rs. 25 Lakhs Rs.

Mr. Rajesh Balaji confirmed that this is genuine.
On line research shows that this no is Pakistan Airtel no. Lots of people have complained about this. So please beware of this.

Today i receive whatsapp massage from unknown no. In this message their is one image and one audio. In image they write that you win 35 lkh from kbc and to receive amount call sbi bank manager Rehan Patel .
When I call on that no to confirm that is it real or fake then they ask me lottery no and provide information.
And cut call after 5 min they say that you are Lucky winner you send me tax amount 12100 rs. On our account then we will send you whole amount. Because i am student i call my father and he told that it is fake and don't receive call. After 1 hours they call me from my no. Is it possible?? ... After that they told that it is real that's why they are calling from your own no. ..

After that I called the parson who had sent this message and then He said "G Vijay Kumar baat kar raha hoon customer care se aapko jo message mila hai aapne rating Kiya Hai Dekha Hai" but I said I can't understand what is it and then he said call to akash verma and then I called him he said this message is true you can withdrew money throug IME and bank . You should sent your citizenship photograph and your detail. I asked him why you need citizenship photograph you can send me ime code and I can withdraw money easily and then he was speaking aggressively .
He cut the phone and then I search his number in true caller his name was different and call was from pakistan .
