[Resolved]  Fashion And You — online fraud

I have ordered for 4 different products from a website called as www.fashionandyou.com. I made the entire payment but initially received only one product(cheapest among those). Then after making not less than 30 calls I was told that the products will be dispatched soon and then i received a package. But I was shocked to see that there was only one product in it. Now after making not less than 50 attempts to reach them I was told that they do not have any stock with them. So when I asked for refund I was told that I will be getting my money only in the form of gift voucher forcing me shop with them again. Even after expressing my severe dis-interest in shopping with them they very arrogantly replied that thats the only option left for me. Even when I warned them of taking this issue to consumer forum the relpy was " No problem at all, please go ahead" and here I am seeking justice.

I should say that this is my most disappointing experience in my online shopping spree of 3 yrs.

To all those who are shopping with please stop doing it right away or some day or the other you are going to face the similar or even bigger problems. Its only because of such fraudulent companies many genuine websites are facing problem in India since people are losing their faith in online shopping.

So people please be careful about such websites

Fashion & You is a big fraud, as they put up products for sale which they don't really have.
I had ordered in December 2010, and till Feb 2011 I did not receive my order. I had mailed them in January, and they had replied that my order would be dispatched soon.
In February I get an emailing saying they don't have the product.
I fail to understand why they put up products for sale which they don't have. It is a complete scam.

(India) 585/2, Ansal Palam Vihar Road, Brijwasan, New Delhi - 110 061, as I have been getting emails where the addressee has mentioned this address. I had placed an order which had an item missing and also dissatisfaction of the product. Below are the chain of emails exchanged between the firm and me.

Today being the 11th day, i have been receiving automated responses from the support team and no phone calls from your team, even after speaking to Nishant(who says he doesnt have a surname or an employee id), nobody has ever stuck to their commitment of getting the ordered picked up and returning the payment to me. Initially you say 72 hrs(also advertised on the website), then i get an email saying 2-7 days and now its the 11th day and on a phone call to Nishant he says it will take another 2-3 days. There is no justification to this delay and and no committed date has been given when the ordered will be picked up and when the refund will be done. Also Nishant says that as per their guidelines they cant transfer the line to their supervisor when i have already spoken to their supervisors before(who again couldnt help).
I need a written justification for the delay and a committed date for the order pickup and the refund of the money paid towards the faulty product.

Also, note if you are issuing the cheque, please issue it in the name of "Bharati Panikker" (as per the bank documents).

Also, like you mentioned once the product is picked up, you will process the payment within 15 days. I dont see why should the customer be penalised for your flaw of not arranging the pickup in 72 hours.

Since 8th Feb, 2011, I have been calling up your customer care team to send me an email confirming that the order will be taken back and the refund will be arranged for as soon as possible, none of your executives have been able to adhere to that. Of all, your executives are imparting wrong information to the already agitated customer that the order will be taken back in 72 hours and a cash refund will be given then and there and when asked to send me an email on this other than false promises no email was shot to me(Executive-Amol Malik). When called yesterday, another executuve of yours(Sahil Tahilwala) gave a double assurance at 18.00hrs that an email will be shot to me within 2 hours, which again was not adhered to.
If this is how you would like to take your customers for a ride after having delivered an incomplete order, then im sorry to inform you that, this is not done.

Fashion And You — return of defective material pick up: FAILED

PENDING PICK UP!! number: 185297
CANT HELP CYBER SHOUTING! HAVE BEEN HELD HOSTAGE FOR JUST 800 BUCKS! RECIEVED TWO PAIR OF SHOES.ONE OF THEM WAS DAMAGED BEYOND USE. NOTIFICATION HAS RESULTED TO RESPONSES LIKE PLEASE WAIT FOR 72 HOURS. SUCH PRUDEnCE THAT I WAS ASKED TO TO RETURN THE MATERIAL AT MY OWN EXPENSE. AND THAT THE MATTER HAS BEEN UN ATTAINED FOR THE LAST 35 DAYS. "we don not deliver damaged goods" one attendant groans, felt like causing him physical damage!!

I am deeply grieved to have experienced the amount of neglect with which my issue was handled by the customer care as well as the management team. After having reported the damaged good (27.01.2011) I have refreshed my complained every three days but to no response.,My testimonial for your website is rather high as far as delivery and quality issues were concerned. but curtomer care after the deal has been made sucks pretty bad. and did i mention i was in a completely useless call wit the customer care for almost 2 hours, add the bill in please. turns out hankering for such meagre discount was not worth it after all. Condemnable to the greatest dgree!

Fashion And You — Faulty Product and No Refund

I had placed an order of Rs. 1613/- on 29th Jan order no 217500 .The product delivered was just a wooden stick . Fashion and you got it picked by blue dart courier on 16th Feb or so ,since then I have sent them many reminder mails but only a system generated acknowledgement of receipt of mail comes. no action has been taken. I tried connecting with them on there mobile no but they give all excuses for not making the payment. Its around more then 20 days but they say that they haven't received the product .They just fooling people as they don't provide any complaint no, so next time you call again you need to waste 15-20 in giving customer rep all information. Now can someone imagine DTDC not delivering the product in 20 days. I suppose its their way of working. Lot of people are facing similar problems.

The other thing is don't redeem the coupons as when you use the coupons then after a month or so they will send the regret that sorry we could not arrange the product. I don't understand if they don't have the product then how the hell they can collect payment.

Any body reading please advice me if any legal action could be possible against fraud practices.
Ordering from fashionand you don't save you single penny as its give you mental stress.

AGAINST MY ORDER NO. 96666 TO FASHION AND YOU, I HAD RECEIVED DIGITAL CAMERA WITH DAMAGED FOCUL LENSE AND NOT IN WORKING CONDITION IN THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER-2010, FROM THAT TIME ONLY SEVERAL TIME I CONTACTED TO CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE OF FASHION AND YOU AND REQUESTED TO ARRANGE THE PICKUP AND REFUND AS PER THEIR POLICY, AGAINST EACH REQUEST THEY COMMITMENTED TO ARRANGE THE PICKUP WITHIN 24 TO 72 HOURS. Fashion And You — They looted me.No refund,no product

I ordered a lot of products at fashionandyou.com.Out of the five items I had ordered,they did not send me one product but charged me 2000 rs for it.Out of the remaining four one had defect,and another was a wrong product all together.I sent the wrong product back through courier service which was recommended by them.Now they are saying they have not received the product so they cannot give me a refund of 2500 rs.So all in all I have lost 4500 rs. I have made numerous calls and sent hundreds of emails,but they don't even respond.Don't ever buy anything from them,they loot you for all you are worth.
Completely fake complaint. No order details or nothing. If you are a person who shops on fashionandyou.com, I assume you must know how a complaint has to be posted with all the details related to the transactions.

Fashionandyou.com is the biggest online scam in India.They have an amazing new way of looting you. I did the mistake of ordering 4 products in their site bearing the order numbers 249104 and 248976. In the first order I ordered for 1 perfume and a pair of shoes, they sent me the wrong product,in the second order,they made me pay 2500rs and instead of sending 3 pairs of shoes they sent 2 pairs(they canceled one pair because it was out of stock but they made me pay for it),its been 18 days and I have received no refund what so ever. I paid rs 3500 and in return I got a shower gel!! Can u believe it? They took 3500rs and sent me a SHOWER GEL. An then came the bigger worries,I called them up and reported the problem.They sent a courier guy to pick it up who was rude as hell,and who made me drive all over bangalore to reach him. Guess what ??this is not it!! It gets better, I have not received my refund till date.And its been 18 days.(in the website it says 3 days!! Ha Ha what a fool is was) I have sent a hundred emails to [protected]@fashionandyou.com,and made a 100 calls to customer care .One customer care guy called Raj was so rude that he hung up on me before saying that it was my mistake to have sent it with that courier guy(p.s. courier guy was sent by Fashionandyou.com).Please ,am begging you guys not to waste your time and hard earned money on these cheats.

Fashion and You - CHEATING CUSTOMERS by saying that 40 to 50% discount on samsung phones they are samsung corby and samsung corby plus.i ordered samsung plus and i get that phone from fashion and you for 5049.the actual price is in hyderabad is 5400.if they gave us 50% discount then i have to get that produt nearly 2000.but they cheated me and the customers who ordered the phones.i want my money back.reply me fr this or cal me.

Fashion and You — Faulty Product

Hi,

I made purchase for utensils (non stick cookware) on www.fashionandyou.com with order ID 228924. I didnt use the product until last week, after a few washes the so called"Tteflon"coating started coming out of all the utensils. now i fear the receding coating also got mixed in my food while cooking. i called the company but they refuse to take any action against it and replied that i should have called with 72hrs of delivery of product. this time frame is rather unrealistic for consumer durables. but no one is willing to take any action.
