I would never buy a Plastic window for my home, its like buying a car made out of plastic instead of a metal and driving it on the highway!! Plastic can not only release harmful toxins when on fire it does not have structural stability.
Dear Mr. Puri,
Please share your coordinates so that we can inspect your windows and ascertain the problem.
This is first time ever we have received a complaint on color fading in over 4 Lakh windows commissioned by Fenesta.
Wish to inform you that uPVC profiles of Fenesta windows are tested for color fading, warpage or any other deformity and come with a warranty for 10 years.

Dear Mr. Navdeep Arora,
I just invested in a huge amount for fenesta windows for an apartment I'm buying at Sastri Nagar, Adyar, Chennai. When I placed the order - after paying the full amount - I was clearly told by the dealer Gopi at Adyar that the windows would open fully, a claim that is part of all your advertisement.
The windows off the living room and the bedroom DO NOT.
Gopi promised that he would set it right. On the basis of that promise - stupid me - I parted with further cash to cover the kitchen verandah. I'm sure you have an idea how much investment that is.
Today, when the men came to fix the kitchen windows, I stopped them saying the kitchen work should not be done unless the living room and bed room windows can be opened fully.
Did I do the right thing?
My number is:[protected]
BTW, why is the customer's signature not taken when the work is finished? How will anyone know the work is completed? Is this a good business model?
Very sadly,
R. Padmanabhan.

Dear Mr. Navdeep Arora,
After I wrote my complaint here, I called up your Gurgaon office and spoke to them at length. Mr. Sourab Goel and Mr. Mahesh listened to me sympathetically and were quite surprised at the way business is done at the Adyar, Chennai franchise. They said they would insist that all Fenesta sellers take the customer's signature once the job was done and wondered why this was not the practice in Chennai. I said that might be because the HQ did not ask for it!
Anyway, things began to happen, one Mr. Karthik and a Mr. Prasanna came to the apartment. inspected the windows, did an experimental fitting to see if it would work. It did, (Arun and Gopi swore nothing could be done to open the windows all the way), and eventually fitted them with handles and cleared up the chutes so the rainwater would drain off.
The bedroom windows, however, cannot be opened all the way. They are big and heavy, they said, and I let them go. Karthik came today, handed over the cleaning kit (brush, a bottle of Colin), and promised to return to take the signature.
My sincere thanks to Saikom the receptionist at the Chennai main office for chasing the guys to complete the work. May her tribe increase!
Readers, please make sure you understand all the options in the windows/doors before parting with cash. Consumers have rights and no seller should be able to get away with windows that do not open all the 180 degrees.

Dear Mr. Navdeep Arora,
1. It is good that someone senior like you is taking responsibility & accountability in Fenesta.
2. My experience with two dealers of Fenesta Chennai has been so horrible. I am referring specifically to Infra Buildtech in Velachery, Chennai and Sre LakshmiKon Buildtech in Adyar, Chennai. For over a month, I have been asking them for a quotation for 4 of my windows. I was close to finalising with Infra Buildtech and even asked them to come and collect the cheque (Mr. Senthil). He said he would come. That was over 10 days ago but he still hasnt!! Neither has he even bothered to call and tell me about the delay. This is definitely not the first instance when he hasnt kept his commitment. I then checked with LakshmiKon, Adyar if they can help me. Even their response has been so poor (Mr. Raja). Essentially, they are NOT sticking to any of their commitments and promises. All this just for giving me a quotation!! I shudder to think what will happen when I pay them the "100% in advance" that they demand!! I dont know how much chasing I will have to do to get the windows installed on time and once installed if I will face issues like the gentleman has mentioned in this blog above!
3. Can you help me with the contacts of any Dealer in Chennai who I can trust to act as per commitment, whom I can trust my money with?
4. I have had about 15 years of experience with top-notch MNCs in India and abroad. All I can say is: if this is the way your dealers choose to do business, this is a 100% road to business disaster both for themselves and for Fenesta. As Head of Sales, I hope you will take immediate, urgent and effective corrective action.
I look forward to hearing from you. My number:[protected]. My email id: [protected]@yahoo.com
Thank you.
