We have purchased two cars Fiat Linea (Emotion) DL12C3509 on 31.10.2010 . I Sukhvinder Singh using this car from the beginning, it worked very fine for approx. a year and current readinh is 33200 only. Troubles started since the summer started and as I switched on the AC one day it did not work. I Visited the service station “Him Motors Pvt. Ltd. Patparganj Ind. Area, New Delhi” for the car service & to get the AC problem rectified. The service was been done on 21.03.2012 and AC started functioning fine.
As per Service head of Him Motors, this model of Fiat car had manufacturing defect (O ring defective), company realize it and committed to replace the same but we have no information about this. As a valuable customer we must get the information through company only.
Somehow our car got repaired and handed over to me. I am driving the vehicle for quite a few weeks but the cooling effect was not experienced.
Today I had to go for an urgent meeting with my client at 13.00. When I switch ON my car’s AC it worked for ten minutes and then suddenly AC stopped functioning and temperature of car shot up right in the middle of traffic. Message flashed on screen excess heat switch off engine. On opening bonnet of car, I obsevered oil coming out from coolant bottle, which is very strange.
I called Fiat HelpLine 1800209 5556 and got another number 1800 209 3428.I was calling from road side under the scorching heat of 40 degree cel. sweating like anything, after sometime got a call from helpline that they can send towing vehicle not the mechanic. I had to reach my client for meeting but unfortunately did not get any help from the FIAT. I felt very disappointing because due to this I lost a good contract deal.
Even after spending 18 lac for two cars, we get the feeling that we made a wrong choice as the new car is not the peace of mind. My car is parked on road side with hazards lights on and I came back to office with a disappointed feelling leaving it to the God to handle for now. My car is still under warranty period but having a feeling that it a second hand vehicle as there in regard from the customer. I am totally unaware of the fact that what is going to happen during extended warranty or after the warranty expires. My new car came with defective fuel tank cover which I bought from service center after paying 1200 rupees.
I wish to communicate this fact that almost all the TATA service centers show a passive attitude towards their customer when it comes to render services. We request you to take the service issue seriously and change the attitude towards service or every one dis-satified customer will contribute you to loose sales even though both the Fiat model are amazing & beautifull machines having value for money.
Bonnet of my car got cracks on its own and might be defective paint but look ugly.
Anyways, I will droped my car to the Autolink service centre at vasant kunj on 16.05.2012 and hope that the faulty parts are replaced and hopefully I will get some satisfaction.
Awaiting favourable response and replace my car.
