[Resolved]  Flipkart.com — Please help!! fraud by online shopping website (flipkart.com)!

I purchased a samsung laptop (Model np300v5a-s0cin) from flipkart.com on 7th of february against order number od[protected] for an amount of rs. 39990/-. The laptop was shipped promptly by them using some company named ekart logistics against tracking id dx24795696 and the package was delivered on 9th of february at 7:00 pm and my wife had received the package.

Upon reaching home at 9:45 pm of 9th feb, i felt that the package is fairly light and upon opening the package, i found that there is no laptop inside the package. There was a samsung box inside a flipkart carton, and the samsung box was having the packing materials, a disk and some user manuals, a small brown box and an invoice from flipkart, however, there was no laptop or the charger for the laptop inside that box.

I immediately called flipkart customer support at their customer support number[protected] and lodged a complaint against a reference number[protected]. I was promised a callback within 24 to 48 hours. I kept on chasing it up again and again and on 11th feb, i received a call from some escalation department of flipkart telling me that they are still investigating and need more time to fix this up. They promised a call within next 24 to 48 hours. There on again, i kept on chasing this up with them time and again, but to no avail. They kept on promising of times when they would call, however no body called. Yesterday i was promised of a call by 1 pm, however, again nobody called. I called them back at 1:10 pm and upon a lot on efforts, spoke to shankar from escalation team, who promised me a resolution by 7 pm. Shankar called me at around 5:30 pm and told me that the courier company has confirmed that the laptop was delivered.

I told him that the courier company delivered the package, however to no avail. They did not listen to me at all. This seems like i have been cheated. That too at hands of such a reputed online sales portal. I cant run around to consumer courts and wait years for having this issue resolved, however, the amount in question i.E. Rs. 39990/- is not that trivial that i would be able to leave this and live with a light head here on. I have made purchases from various online stores in past, have received duplicate products, broken/damaged products or lost shipments and these concerns were addressed pretty promptly by the respective companies. However, this incident has left me shattered to an extent that i would never be able to trust an online retail store to place an order.

It seems like, flipkart, like most other systems that we have seen, is good only till the time everything goes as expected, however, should there be a need to redress the issues, there is nothing that they would do to set things right. I went to the extent of writing a message to sandeep bansal (Md of flipkart.com) and received no response from him either.

I understand that this might be a small case that has come forward to this forum, however, means a lot to me as this amount in question is something that i have worked very hard to earn. I would appreciate any assistance that i would receive via this forum.

I had worst experience on shopping from flipkart . Even after 10 days order OD[protected] was not delivered to me . I called up Customer Care repeatedly to know where shipment is . Every time answer was same 'we dont have idea, wait for 24 hours we would update you' and lastly today I recieved call flipkart people are not able to track (sounds funny) where order is hence they are cancelling order (Really bad and pathetic ) I dont have words to describe about flipkart and ekart logistics I would never ever shop from flipkart site and would never recommed anyone to shop from flipkart.

This is what is written on Flipkart.com. Aren't you allowed to claim theft under their free insurance.

I deeply regret your inconvenience. Hope they help you out soon as this is a real set back / eye opener to all people blindly trusting these online shopping companies.

Please approach an advocate... this Guys won't help, its very sure. Moreover the E kart Logistic is belongs to Flipkart itself and they are fraud and they don't know how to behave with the customer.. I trust you Please lodge the complaint, also check with CS who was the Field agent to delivered the Shipment.. if require lodge complaint to the nearest Police station... in the name of Ekart Logistics.

This Ekart logistics people are simply third rated human beings, they even dont know how to talk to people.
I ordered a few CD's and DVD's from flipkart, this ekart people even after coming into my office premises, are not willing to come to come to my office floor to deliver the goods and giving a impression that by buying goods from flipkart we are simply becoming slaves of flipkart.
The words used by the courier boys of ekart are very filthy and which simply reveals that they are mannerless and illiterate.
Shame on flipkart.
This is in reference to my Order no: OD[protected] dtd. 06.04.13 [Q&Q Analog Watch - For Women (Pink) ] and tracking id no: BP06360635. The consignment against the above materials has not been delivered till 12.04.13.

However, surprisingly Flipkart is showing delivery of the consignment on 11.04.13 in their website and vide their delivery confirmation e-mail. In this regard, complaint has been given to Flipkart customer care on 11.04.13 as well as 12.04.13 and yet to receive a reply.

Can anybody please provide me any contact details of E-kart Logistics such that I can arrange to collect the consignment from them on my own.

I have ordered a cell phone using cash on delivery. When I called to flipcart helpline no to trace the order, they have no clue about my order status. It seems E-kart logistic is nothing but a worst delivery service own by flipcart and don't have any office. I heard a lot about flipcart but this is very strange that this E-Kart does not have any office from where a customer can collect my product (if to be required). Shame on flipcart delivery service..

I am damn sure if this continue, that day is not far away when this online store/site will be worst store or site.
I bought one HP Omni desktop 120-2111 by order Id : OD [protected] from Flipkart on 31st Oct 2012. Product was received in good condition and working fine till May 2013. In the m/o May 2013 I was facing problem with the dongle of cordless key board and mouse, I contacted HP for warranty replacement of my faulty dongle, at that time I came to know from HP (thru mail) that warranty for my PC is only for 1 year and not for 3 year which was confirmed by Flipkart at the time of sale to me. I forwarded that mail to Flipkart and asked for the clarification, flipkart again claimed (thru mail) that warranty is for 3 years.



This dispute is pending since last 3- 4 months, now few days back I start getting calls from WS Retail (channel partner of Flipkart) for warranty issue. One Mr. Anurag of WS Retail advised me to use the PC with one year warranty, when I asked him, why they are writing 3 years warranty on website, he said these are all marketing fundas to sell the product. Actually the warranty is for 1 year only, when I inquired about the mail which I got from flipkart which is stating 3 years warranty, he said flipkart is just a platform to sell the product, and we are the actual seller of this product. He also advised me to not to bother flipkart by writing unnecessary mails on this issue as nobody will entertain you. I told him that I am not going to spare WS/Flipkart on this issue and will file a case in consumer court, he said I am free to go anywhere and plenty of cases are pending in consumer court on their name, their lawyers are capable enough to handle thousands of more cases like this.



Customer support executive of Flipkart always listen my story and promise for callback from their seniors but nobody is responding neither on mails nor on phone.



I am feel like cheated. Companies like WS Retail and Flipkart are looting people openly.



Flipkart is selling goods by



1. Misleading advertisements and false representation.

2. Cheating by giving false promises.

3. Deficiency in after sale service or not abiding by warranty clause.

4. Harrasing customers thru channel partners.



How we can stop this??? kindly advice how can I get the warranty support or else I need my money back which I have paid for this pc i.e. Rs. 31743/-
being a media person i can suggest a way out contact a TV channel with copy of complaints and other valid documents you have and try to run the story on some channel, any genuine journalist or a good reporter will surely follow your story.if nothing happens approach some human rights organisation on "being cheated basis" surely they will kick their cheater . i had a bad experience with snapdeal when they sent me a defective electronic telescope, i fought several times with them to get my money back, it took me around 30 days to get my money refunded, don't loose hope and fight for your money.
I am lawyer. I have had similar terrible experience with them. And am suing them to make them realize there mistake. I have bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 through Flipkart on 10-Sep-2013 (Order OD[protected]) due to 15% Cash Back offer (offer details are given below). one incident is also happen to me

on 20th Feburary 2014 i ordered a Moto G mobile from flipkart with order ID : OD[protected] and they delivered me on 2 March 2014 from there ekart logistics with Tracking ID: WSRC[protected] and on the day of delivery there delivery boy called me and said that i have to come 0.5km away from my place to get the delivery when i said that i am not able to come as i am not there and you move to my place some one will receive the order then immediately he cuts the phone call and makes his phone switch off.

and when i complaint this to Flipkart they hardly bother about the incident and said they will deliver next day and when i force them they register a complaint and simply said that they will send some other guy today for the delivery but nothing can happen in this case.

so, i request all of you to stop buying any thing from Flipkart and also said this to all your known ones .

I ordered and item from flipkart and my order id is od[protected]. When i track my order it says product is out to deliver through ekart logistics. And yesterday they updated the status saying "could nit deliver because of no response ". This is too bad from flipkart and ekart even. These service is horrible. No one from either flipkart or ekart called me yesterday and they updated saying no response.

How come they update the status like this without even calling??? I want to escalate this issue to higher officials but unfortunately i could not find any contact no for ekart logistics and when i checked with flipkart they say they cannot provide the contact details of ekart.

This seems to be fraud. Is my item going to be delivered or not??
Here is same story for both flipkart & ekart we placed order for samsung s duos 2 from flipkart od[protected] and they shipped by ekart with out contact me they return the parcel with in 1 days, again when i contacted flipkart they said place a new order i asked flipkart team for ekart contact details like adrress or contact number they said they dont have any details for ekart, i am too wonder with out any contact details how flipkart shipping parcels with ekart, what is this type drama from both ekart and flipkart
