Friends Track Call Taxi — VERY POOR SERVICE AND RESPONSE

I am a resident of AMRITAVARSHINI APARTMENTS, ERI SCHEME, Mugappair. On seeing the advertisement at our Apartments with contact nos, I have opted for the FRIENDS TRACK CALL TAXI services, as they are from the same Mugappair Area and hoping the service would be faster and better. When I availed the services, my experiences were as detailed below:

12th MAY 2011

I availed the FRIENDSTRACK and the vehicle came appeared to be badly hit by some accident. The interiors were also not clean. But I did not mind as I was to proceed to airport on time. When I asked for the AC to be switched on, the driver coolly said that it does not work. When I complained this to their call office, they replied that alternate car will be arranged within 10th minutes as it is quite nearby. But after 15 minutes a driver called up and said that he is somewhere interior of Nolambur and it would take another half an hour to reach and pick me up near golden eagle bridge. He sounded as if he has just woke up from sleep and his intention was clear that I should tell a clear “No” to him so that he can report to office that the customer refused him. So I continued with the same bad car and mind you the car was cruising at 40 km speed upto airport and it took 1 hour to reach airport and I just made it to my flight on time. There was no call from your office even after reporting the problem at length.


19th JUNE 2011

I called up the FRIENDSTRACK yesterday (19th June) at 1 pm and booked for car to report by 5 am on 20th June. This time I did not narrate any old story as I thought that it was taken care properly noting me as a regular customer. Today (20th), I called up thrice to the booking office between 4 am and 4.35 am asking for driver details. They said that driver is yet to allocated and it will be done by 4.45 am and the driver would call at 4.45 am. But none called up and I gave a call again at 4.55 am and got the driver details. When I called up the driver, he was near Wavin and I had to guide his entire ride over phone till he reached Amritavarshini at 5.10am. When I rushed to board the car, the driver reported that the car has broke down. Sensing the delay, I started moving to the nearby auto stand, but to my ill fate there was none. I tried FRIENDSTRACK office thrice and reported on the details. Each time I called, I was put on hold for long time without any feedback. So I had to cut the call anticipating their call on the alternate action. But it was only me calling them and they never returned my call even after detailing my problem. Then I requested a lift in passerby car to reach Nerkundram and then hired an auto to reach Central at 5.55 am. Luckily it was not flight this time and I had my morning jogging to reach the moving train at 6.00 am. After all the trouble, I had a relaxing laugh when I received an SMS from FRIENDSTRACK at 6.28 am that read the vehicle(the same breakdown one) is on its way with driver mobile number. For a 5.00 am pick up, the message is received at 6.28 am and what to state this type of service.

After these two occasions, I have not preferred to go with FRIENDS TRACK CALL TAXI and availed the other services regularly. After a long gap, I thought I can try their services again, hoping that there may be some betterment. When I call up for booking, I specify the following to the attendant without fail:

Send a Good Clean A/c Car
Send a Driver who is familiar with the Mugappair Area.
Send the car on Time.

The latest 2 experiences are given below:

7th FEB 2012

I booked for the Airport drop detailing all the above experiences. My Booking No. was 205. The booking was for 6.00 am for which normally other call taxies normally report atleast 15 minutes before. But the Car reached at 6.10 am only. The driver (ID 1311) called up at 5.10 am, after which I had to make 8 calls to make him reach to my place. After boarding the car, I guided him to the Bye-pass Road through Wavin. On catching the Bye-pass, I asked him whether he knows the route to airport, he conveyed that he would reach TAMBARAM and then proceed to Airport. He was totally unaware of any route. Also he had some vision problem and could not view the road properly. His driving was also very jittery. With high risk I reached the Airport just before the boarding closed.

15th Feb 2012

Again, it was an airport drop and booked your service with all previous details once again. My Booking No. was 207. The Booking was for 5.45 am. The Driver (ID No. 005) made a call at 5.21 am and said he is at Maduravoyal. I guided him to reach my address with all landmark details. Upto 6.10 am, I was calling the driver continuously 10 times and guiding and he was not sure where he has to come. Finally I walked 1 km to the place where he was standing and boarded the car at 6.15 am. My flight was at 7.30 am and when I got dropped at airport, it was 6.50 am. By the time I reached the boarding counter, I was reported that it is closed. I had to plead and make several requests before the AIRLINE officials allowed me to board the flight.

With all my 4 occasions I availed Friends Track, I had a very bad experiences each time. Now. I have concluded that it is very risky to avail FRIENDS TRACK Call taxi services any further.

With all the above detailed in my mail dated 15th Feb 2012 to their mail ID '[protected]@friendstrackcalltaxi.com' as given in their website, there is not even a single response in any for till now.

I would like to caution the public to think twice before they opt for FRIENDSTRACK CALL TAXI service.

I have been using Friends track for a long time and the service they offer is really excellent. The drivers are very obedient and the customer service is really superb.. When it come to call taxi -Friendstrack is the Best always.
Dear consumers

I booked two indica cabs(Booking no 553) for pick up from nungambakkam to adayar they said they will send cab by 7.30 but they sent cab by 8 o clock only. Again they charged Rs.190 in one cab and Rs.250 for another cab. when i asked customer care there is no proper response from them.

The Worst Service from Friends Track Call Taxi.

I had booked a Taxi for Airpot drop on 26.11.2012 at 5.00 am. The Driver arrived at 5.38 am for the pickup and I had to miss my Flight. THEY ARE NOT READY TO EVEN COMPENSATE FOR THE DELAY.

PLEASE BEWARE OF FRIENDS TRACK CALL TAXIS. NEVER BOOK FROM THEM HERE AFTER. THEY ARE FRUAD AND CHEATING THE CUTOMERS.

I have booked a cab from ambattur to cromphet, report time was 9:00 am but he reported at 9:30 and took wrong route for more than 30 mins and there is no AC also, the driver dont know the route also, we have called to the booking office and they explain the route and then also the driver took us wrong route
Now the meter alredy crossed 500 and still 16 kms to tambaram and from there again he dont know the route to Cromphet so we decicded to drop in middle of the highway and we called FAST TRACK, the cab reported in time now this bludy worst friends track driver enquired route to return from fast track.

this very worst experince i have faced, so dont book friends track and make yourself in trouble
I booked a car (tavera) to purasaivakkam. The car was on time. It was an Old Car. After entering the car, i couldn't find cushion seat in the rear portion of the car. I was like sitting on a bench. Then No AC flow.. Sweated and then opened the window for air flow. Even worse, as the temperature is high on that day. Then y they sent a msg that Tavera AC Car is hired for you. Driver was mum for every questions raised.
Waste of money..
I always book on Fast track. For the first time i booked in Friends Track and had a bad experience.. and its the last time for me to book here.
We have used Friends Track call taxi service frequently.
We have found the service excellent, except in one
case i.e. on 19th January 2013. This has been
reported to Mr. Tony and I trust you would have
by now taken whatever action is required to ensure
that such an incident does not affect your reputation
in the market.

We have a suggestion to make. The method by which
the waiting charges are calculated does not appear
to be very clear. i.e. does the waiting clock run from the
time the cab reports to the location ? If so, this is
unfair because more often than not the cab is
available much ahead of the requested time.
We would therefore suggest that you include in
your confirmation of booking message something
like "please ensure to board the cab within 15 minutes
(or whatever period you wish to specify) of the ordered time
Charges thereafter will be levied at the rate of ...
per ...minutes.

In one instance the cab was almost 20 minutes ahead
of the requested time and the meter had been turned on.
Not specifying the exact time from when the waiting charges
commence leads to unnecessary dialogue.

DO NOT USE THIS CAB SERVICE

This advice is given based on the driver's performance for the last 10 times. We have been customers for the past 7 years. Previously, drivers used to be cordial and friendly. These days, though they come on time after several calls, they aren't friendly and do not seem to know the route in and around Chennai. They confide they are new to Chennai but have experience of about 4-5 years driving in Chennai. This applies only to young guys and not the older ones.
Very bad call taxi... Had a very worst experience... my BID 1339... i booked them 4.15 to come by 5.30 from porur to mmda... I called them every 10 min after 5.30...the tols me wait for 10 min... same reply up to 6.45... If no cab they would have told me... They wasted my time... the call center girls are giggling and playing... no responsibility ... at all...
I have bad story to tell about Friends track.

I have taken a one day outstation trip from AMBATTUR to vandavasi.
During the trip the driver asked money Rs. 600 for Diesel.
Later in the evening without deduction I have paid the full money.

After some time only I realised that I have to get back Rs. 600. I called the customer care. The lady said that in the night the driver will deposit the money in their office. Later they will put the money in my account ...

I thought how smooth it was.

But later only i realised that it is not that easy.

Till yesterday (for one month) I am calling and they do not care about it. The only words they say is if the driver gives them the money then they will pay me.

I am really surprised that how this company works
