[Resolved]  Gati Home Movers & Packers — Mishandling of car during transportation

I am completely disturbed over the manner in which my car was handled and dispatched from delhi to pune by gati home packers & movers. From the day one they have proved to be a bunch of liers. Mr. Sunil and mr. Vikas both told my father that the car has been loaded on the night of 07 november 2009 for pune whereas it was still being used for personal works. Me and my father made over 300 calls to know the status of the car which was finally delivered to me at pune around 2000 hrs on 17 november 2009 whereas mr. Vikas had stated that the car would reach pune on 12 / 13 november 2009. As if it was not enough, while delivering the car, the following items were found to be missing from the car:-
(A) original stepney of the car was replaced by them with a completely torn off / damaged tyre and another tyre of make j k tyre was replaced with worst condition m. R. F. Tyre. It is a case of property stolen by them.
(B) body cover of the car which was placed in the car in their presence was found to be missing at pune.
(C) a temple placed in the car was found missing.
(D) front number plate was found to be broken.
(E) rear bumper has been found damaged and requires replacement due to mishandling of the vehicle by them.
(F) wheel cap of one side was found to be missing.
(G) on 07 november 2009, my father was informed that the car has been loaded at gurgaon border whereas on 17 november 2009, mr. Sunil of their company stated that the car was loaded at manesar which contradicts mr vikas's statements.
(H) the wire of the speedo meter was found dislocated confirming that they had been using the car till its loading. All of them have failed to indicate the exact date of loading. The distance between my residence in delhi and gurgaon border is about 35 kilometers whereas the speedo meter reading was 230 kms.
(I) the charges for transportation of the vehicle were paid to them on the condition of "door-to-door" delivery basis whereas they have failed to deliver the car at door when it reached the destination at pune. The delivery of the car was taken by me personally from some balaji cargo carrier, chikhali and i had to take leave from the office, without pay.

All their above actions have proved and confirmed that they all are guilty of various offences and that they all are a bunch of cheaters and everyone employed by them has been giving misleading and different statements / explanations at different times which means that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand was doing. I have viewed the matter very seriously and if they fail to reimburse me the cost of all the above items for the damages that they have done while transporting my car from delhi to pune, i would be left with no option but to seek compensation and damages from the consumer court at their cost and risk.

I will take the matter at the appropriate level for seeking damages and compensation. These service providers cannot take the customers for granted since we have paid the money asked by them and that they have failed to provide us the services in lieu. It is clearly a matter of "deficiency in service" for the money taken by them.

The persons reading these complaints should refrain from using services offered by such liers and cheaters. These service providers should be black-listed in doing any kind of business.
