This is to let you know that Gopinathji Vadodara has emerged into a falsefull business practise by providing wrongfull advice to its customers taking undue advantage of thier helpless situation.

I was advised once at Gopinathji two years back to change my alternator which costed me INR 8000 including taxes. Post two years when I again faced the same problem I was again advised to change the alternator however it was not required as a local mechanic just advised me to clean the terminals of the battery connection and by doing so, it started working and in the last 3 months it has not given me any trouble. This is a clear case of malpractise through wrong advises leading to financial loss to the customer at the same time loss of faith in the customers for genuinity of parts of General Motors giving the customers an impression that GM vehicles are high manintanance.

Below is the extract from my communication to them against their owner MayurBhai's committement to me for action against my complain to which there hasn't been a response till date:

Dated: 12th April 2012 : -" MAYURBHAI, With referance to our meeting on 10th april 2012 in ur office wherein ur workshop manager was also present,I told u my greavence regarding ur service engineer advising me to change the ALTENATOR of my car.U agreed that it was a mistake of the engineer and u apologised for the same.I shall just want to bring this on record so that in future this does not happen again and I could quote this example if it happens.Also let me know what steps did u take to rectify this mistake as u promised me that after i leave u would take some steps. "


Dated: 5th May 2012 : - "As u agreed that day, this was a serious mistake on part of the SERVICE ENGINEER advisingly wrongly to the customers for changing expensive parts unnecessarily,he should be punished nothing less then a "TERMINATION LETTER" which would set an example in future for other employees also.This would also add up to the GOODWILL of SHREE GOPINATHJI AGENCIES.I expect prompt action from ur side or else I would be forced to move forward my complain to GENERAL MOTORS INDIA. And if needed take some legal action which was refused by U & MAYURBHAI in our last meeting at ur office"
