[Resolved] Ghaziabad Traffic Police — Ghaziabad Traffic police personnel charging incorrect fine for Traffic violations | |||
Throught this forum I would like to bring to kind notice of respective authorities that the Traffic and the grievances of common commuters have gone over head in the city of Ghaziabad. There is no parking facilities provided by the Nagar Nigam at major traffic places like Gandhi Nagar, Ghanta Ghar, Turab Nagar, Maliwara Chowk, etc. And in case of vehicle being tow away, the fine is collected double else the vehicle is not returned. Today,[protected], my car was tow away from Maliwara chowk at 1:30 PM while I was waiting for Doctor's appointment, to Ghaziabad old bus stand and when I reached there to get my car back, agreeing to pay the fine, I was asked Rs. 200/- as fine amount. When I asked for the receipt, I was given Rs. 100/- receipt (Book No. 174, S.No. 8676) and a copy of challan mentioning Rs. 100/- collected (Challan No. 0083876). On arguing that the receipt is of Rs. 100/- only, I was told that Rs. 100 is for Crane Charge for towing for which receipt is given and another Rs. 100 is for challan. On checking at website and other places, I found that actual fine amount is Rs. 100/- for parking at no parking zone. Then this conduct by Traffic Police personnal is harassing. I am not attaching the photos of the receipt and chalan here but it can be provided if required. Was this information helpful? | |||

Ghaziabad traffic police is the most corrupt and inefficient police, right now I am standing on NH24 for last 2 hours, traffic jam has grown more than 15 kms. It is not of one day but it happens daily. The primary reason is signal not working and police standing there is indifferent. The is no accountability on performance. We claim to be going to be economic superpower such slack attitude of authorities and police is deplorable. There are so many ambulances stuck there, the life on the patient is left on god's hand. There is definately an urgent need of purlic charter, and ghaziabad police (one of the most corrupt and inefficient) should be brought under, and having failed to do their duties they should be prosecuted.

Ghaziabad Traffic Police — illegally taken 1000 rs
Traffic police Mr. Satendra singh at hapur square near raj nagar extention had taken rs 1000 illegally from me on 1/10/2013 withg the help from one broker.please investigate this matter and take the strict action against him.i had all the paper of my vehiclle. i would like to bring attention of high officials of Ghaziabad traffic police that police catches those people from traffic who can give challan or can take bribe without hassle.
while making challan they keep mortgage(girvi) vehicle paper. i don't understand this scheme. it seems still we are in british raj .because paper collecting is again half day leave and traffic headache.just take amount that time or proviosion for online.
