Godrej eon — Fridge with Manufacturing default

Dear Sir/Madam,

My mother had purchased a Godrej eon fridge from Telaulikar Electricals (next to ICICI Bank - Margao Branch) in Oct 2007... 3 days later when the fridge was not cooling at all we launched a complaint regarding the same with Telaulikars... after investigating the problem for a long time the technician told us that a part which is suppossed to be cooling the fridge was missing in the fridge due to some manufacturing defult... he then fixed that part and told us that everything was alright... however now after eight months itself the fridge broke down again... after compliant when the technician came in he told us that the thermostart had conked off... he said he will fix it when it will be available... when we asked him when it will be available he said he had no idea... after a lot of complaints and more compliants the technician finally brought the thermostart and fixed only to find out the fridge keeps triping everytime you try to put it on... then he told us there is some major problem with the fridge and it will have to be taken to the workshop but that it was not possible on that day as there was no vehicle to transport the fridge to the workshop... he said he wud come the next morning to take it but came only in the late afternoon... in all this rig ma role its now 7 days since nothings been done about our fridge...and even if it is repaired I doubt it will ever work properly again... it is a faulty peice which I strong feel sud be replaced by the company... when I went to complain to the owner of the shop he said 'you can go to consumer forum if you want... I cannot do anything about it'.
Sir/madam wud appreciate it you could please look into the matter and help us if possible... all our things from the fridge got spoilt twice already now... this time we lost almost 3000 worth of eatables (meat, fish, milk, food etc)...
Looking forward to any intervention from your end which could put an end to our suffering.
