[Resolved]  Godrej Refrigerator — Cooling Problem

I bought my Godrej refreigrator Eon 240 litres around 2 years back. Everything went well for 2 years. Now it started giving me the cooling problem.

I reported the complaint at Godrej Service center in Bangalore on 17th April viz complaint no. [protected]. Service Engineer came to my house and after lots of troubleshooting and 2 hours of diaognising, he came to conclusion that compressor is faulty. He told me that compressor is under warranty and you need to pay for change in Gas and service charge for which net amount apid by you will be around 1300. Service Engineer told me that Compressor does the cooling for 2 mins and stays switched off for 1 mins which is not the normal behaviour. Hence please go ahead with chnaging of the compressor. I said go ahead and repair the refrigerator. There was no response from Godrej and after 3 days I recieved a message that your problem is resolved and complaint is closed.

I raised another complaint to Godrej Service center for not doing cooling by refrigerator on 22nd April with complaint no. [protected]. After calling them several times and persuading them, they came to my house to change the compressor. Compressor was changed on 25th April which took 4 hours with gas filling and everything. Service Engineer demaded Rs.1250 which I paid him. He told that now ice will be made in refrigerator and temprature can go below 0. To my surprise next day I was unable to see any ice in my refrigarator. I called the service Engineer on 26th April and did not got any response from him. Even they went ahead and closed my complaint.

I raised third complaint for my same problem on 25th of April with complaint no. [protected]. Service provider people at HAL didn't bothered to pick up my call even after 100's of trial onto number which I had as [protected] and another mobile number as [protected]. I called them on saturday 28th April aroun 20 times and they informed me that we are busy in meeting and would be sending person in evening. Even in evening they did not responded to my call. After several attempts they told me that executive would be visiting me on Sunday morning. On sunday they did not even attended my call. After so many attempts they said that we'll come on 7th of May. Even 7th May they did not turned out. I called them back on 8th May and did not got any response. On 9th May they said that we'll come but never turned out till evening. On 10th May they came to my house and asked to empty the refrigerator and said that problem is with the freezer. Then he rechecked and after 3 hrs of diagnosis, he came to conclusion that the NEW COMPRESSOR which they replaced is faulty one. I am really fed of these Godrej Service Center people.

Then again they said that we are going to come tomorrow with the new compressor and replace it. I asked then to collect my refrigerator and rectify the problem in it and deliver it back to me. It is none of by business how do you guys fix it.

Now they have to come to my house to collect the refrigerator and I hope they turn out tomorrow. My vegetables and fruits worth Rs.1000 are spoiled due to refrigerator. Even daily the milk is getting spoiled as its Summer in Bangalore. I am really fedup with these Service Center guys.

I would suggest everybody never buy the Godrej refrigerator as they provide the worst service in the world. I am very much disssatified with their service.

I had purchased new refrigerator in the month of May 2009 and at present I am facing noisy sound from the refrigerator and some problem in freezer, accordingly I had lodged a complaint vide service No.170944 dated[protected] till date no service have been provided despite of continues follow-up, I feel godrej don't values customer time and requirement.
Your customer center gives false responses stating that our service engineer will attend with a day! With an hour, but all went in dismay, I had applied leave from my office waiting for your service engineer 0n[protected] who is suppose to report within an hour i.e by 7:00 pm as confirmed by your customer center, but it is more than 16 hrs no service engineer or any call from your customer center. I had applied leave from office waiting for your service engineer I wasted 5 man hours on[protected].
Since I am not getting any positive sign of attending my service is there any one to attend.
cooling problem
I have purchased Godrej Double door Refrigirator, model Euon, just four months ago. During this three months till now around 4 times freez stoped working with various reason. when ever i am lodging the complaint min. 5 to 6 days take to attended the call. Subsequently he goes back for bringing the spare parts for replacement again there it takes two days . Some times freez shows it is working on the basis of inside light and voice. However, inside tempreature remains hot. Now i am frustrated with sevice and proudct.

Pls contact us soon and replace your old refreigerator with a new refrigerator.

I have a Godrej Double door. Purchased on 25/10/2008. Refrigerator has colling problem from 13th Oct.2009. Complaint has given to the distributor on 14th Oct.2009 and my complaint was registered on 15th Oct. 2009. After 4-5 days technician was came and said that your referigerator compressor was not working and need to change it. Till date I have called to technician and service Manager Mr.Nikhil everyday. But I got answer that next day you will get your compressor. But till today I didn't got compressor. I also make a call to Mr.Mohan from sales dept. He also talk to Mr.Nikhil but no reply from Mr.Nikhil. So please try to solve my problem as early as possible.

SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR - MANGAL DEEP — IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR

Hello Sir,

We had placed an order for SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR RT32YBMS, on the 19.10.2009 and had paid an advance of Rs. 1000.00 for the same and in turn the shop owner had promised that he would supply the same on 21.10.2009, but till date (02.11.2009) we had not heard anything from him, inspite of our repeated calling.

And finally he came to us with a defective refrigerator and is expecting us to accept the same, which we outrightly refused. When we asked him the reason he says that there is no stock and he is willing to supply us someother model which we are really not intrested to buy. And we are very annoyed with his irresponsibe attitude.

I need some kind of action against people like these,as there are many people like us working and we dont find much time to go around and shop. And following it up with these guys becomes like part of our daily routine. And also considering the amount of time that we spare and the resourse that we spare on such matter has to to be accounted for.

Kindly look into it and do the needed.

I bought a Godrej refrigerator 5 months back and recently found that its defrost button is not working. Already have registered complaints 3 times no one has turned up to resolve the issue.
In fact I once got an SMS from Godrej that the problem has been resolved whereas nobody actually even bothered to give a call from there service center.

Companies like these tarnish the image of Indian brands and thus people prefer to opt for MNC even Chinese companies.

So sad.

Godrej refrigerator 185 lits — Service technician not turning up

Complaint No. 616102 The service technician came to house on 23/10/09 and removed beeding of refregirator and took with him. He said he will come next day with new beeding and fit. He did not turn up till now. When we call his mobile phone,he is not piacking up. When we called Godrej service centre number in Hyderabad(Phone No.[protected], the consumer complaint cell employee is not giving proper response. To day is 10/11/009. I could not use the fridge from 23/10/09 till today. They have given me problem for simple replacement of parts. The name of the company is very big but the service is poor.
Though my friends told me not to buy Godrej, I went for it and that too double door. within 50 days cooling problem has started. I lodged a complaint 4 days back and I am trying to reach the officials at Mumbai, unable to get any one on line. The local officials say it will be done but the same has not been rectified till date. Absolutely fed up with the attitude of Godrej Sales and Service Personnel. when they want to sell they are behind us with several phone calls once it is sold they say to hell with you. I am really worried having invested such a big money it is just lying like an almirah.
In case you find some good service personnel send me an email so that I can pay him regularly and ask him to rectify when I face some problem. Right now help me out how to solve this cooling problem.

Godrej Refrigerator 220 ltr — Cooling system not working

The coolling system is not properly working since last month. Also complaint to service centre in Jaipur on[protected] but still no any response from your side. Earlier complaint no. is 635851. My mobile no. is [protected]. Hope for early response.

Godrej — refridgerator not working and service not done well.

i had bought refrigerator dated26/8/04. had repaired 4 times previously on same part as recorded in godrej campany i am aware of. now this time compressor and same part went down and it is not working. had complained dated 16/11/09 for this reason and service came much late i.e 2 days delay. then on seeing it he said need to get compressor and some part to put in, will come again next day. on next day he came with one part(except compressor which he said is not yet available) and done that. but had to wait another day for compressor. he got it next day and put it in my refrigerator and fixed it . having satisfied i signed it. but next day funny sound came out of it. 2 days after it stopped working. i then called again for that same reason. no response since now. i'm fed of this poor service . i expect better service from that company. . thanking you.
Godrej Refrigerator Complaints - replacement of the dee refrigerator cover
I am john from Dubai, we purchased 2 years before godrege fridge (model 2FE25AC) but now its colling onlly frezer part not in the down aria . its under 5 years warrenty, this complaint we reported in local service centre (kollam kerla ) but not getting any respose from them we are waiting since from october to clear this complaint.

i really sorry to inform you that we not geting the service on time that is the reason i am sending mail from here my realatives from kerala allreay approch the local service by phone,

are you thinking we gone wrong option to chose the godrege

I am john from Dubai we purchased a Godrege fridge Model (2FE25 AC ) under 5 years service warrenty but not its getting colling only Frezer not in douwn area our rlalative from kerla(kollam) allready infomed the local service entre before 1 month but not getting any proper resposnse from there.

i am sorry to inform you that we are not getting poper service for this product this reason i am sending this email form here duabi.

are you thinking we go with wrong option to choose the Godrege product

Refrigerator - Godrej — not working

My refrigerator is not working from yesterday. I have small kids so pls attend and rectify immediately. Already 2 months back i made a complaint but nobody came.

Godrej/Refrigerator — no servicing yet after 10 times call

on 18.05.08 i have purchased a refregerator from my nearest dealer " Sen Electronics, Guptipara, Hooghly, they have no give the Bill for the refregerator , from 02.10.09 the above refregerator give some problem , i call 15 times but they have no answered or no checking till date. i also booked a complaint direct in Godrej But no answered also from the company.
