[Resolved]  Goibibo.com — No Airline booking confirmed after the payment. No Refund of the payment made till date.

All this happened for a discount of Rs 200 which tempted me to book a ticket on GOIBIBO.

I booked a ticket on Indigo Airlines on 6th Dec from Hyderabad to Bangalore. I got a message that the transaction failed after the payment was made through net banking and money was taken from my Icici account.
I immediately contacted the helpline on [protected]. They told me it would take at least 7 working days for me to get the money back on my account. I also sent an e-mail to [protected]@ibibogroup.com and got the reply that the refund would be made within 7 working days.
After waiting for 7 working days I contacted them again. Now a series of e-mail exchange followed till dec 23 2009. Then they gave me a transaction number and said the refund has been completed from their end. But I have not received the money.
After another e-mail exchange, they gave me another transaction number saying that the transaction has been completed from their end and I have to contact my bank. I have not received my money till now.
I called them on the helpline again and was explained to follow up on the e-mail which was already leading me nowhere.
I am also attaching the e-mail communication between me and IBIBO.com. The support has been kind enough to reply to all me e-mails. But the main motto refund of my money did not happen till now.
note I am not creating a complaint to get help to get back my money.
With this all I want to make consumers aware.

YOU MAY GET THE TICKETS CHEAPER THAN ON OTHER WEBSITES, BUT IN CASES THE TRANSACTION FAILS AND YOU HAVE TO UNDERGO THE PAIN OF STRUGGLING TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. I HAVE NOT GOT MY MONEY BACK TILL NOW. The EFFORT I HAVE PUT IN FOLLOWING UP IS WORTH TWICE THE VALUE OF THE MONEY.

So even if I get back my money….so much of my time has already wasted on the follow up who is going to pay for that and the pain of follow.
All this happened for a discount of Rs 200 which tempted me to book a ticket on GOIBIBO.

If you have processed the refund I should have got that in my account. There is no such payment. If you give me the transaction ID where am I supposed to check this. I have done enough from myside to followup this issue. Now it is more than 20 days.
You can't just say you have made a payment and close the issue when the payment is not received by me.
Hats off to your systems which always fail the transactions so that you can get enough intrest on the customers money.

I am raising the consumer issue online.

Goibibo.com — non receipt of refund amount amount for cancelled spice jet air ticket

The refund amount has not been received back for the cancelled spicejet air ticket even after 15 days .

I have booked four tickets from Mumbai to Trivandrum, travelling date on the 1st of May, 2010. Due to unavoidable reason, i have to cancell the tickets on the 20th of April (after due confirmation form GOIBIBO that refund will be provided) and booked on some other flights. After that i got a mail from goibibo.com saying that the refund amount of Rs.13607 will be refunded withing 7 - 10 working days. The mail was from "singh.bhavneet80" <singh.[protected]@ibibo.com> informing about alll the details about the refund. Since there was no refund received from goibibo.com, i contaced them again and with the usual way they informed me that it will take another 7 working days. Now that days are also over, contacted them again, the same extension for another 7 working days with a complaint nio. at last. I have written two mails to the same guy who has given the details but he has not responded to those mails.
I request to kindly help me in getting the refund as soon as possible.
