I got the offer letter from the above firm .Really i cant belive the one becoz still they didn`t conduct any interview and also not contact me in any tele conversation, but they asked nearly 890pounds for the visa process in advance. Pls anybody suggest me about the above topic.it is true or not.am from tamilnadu in chennai.if you got the details related to the above topic pls forward me .

Most "419" scams using +44 70xx numbers involve emails that are sent from Nigeria and other West African countries, not from the UK! If you see a +44 70xx number in a 419 scam email it usually means you're dealing with criminals based in Nigeria.
UK phone numbers starting with '70' are "Personal numbering" in the "Find me anywhere" range. Charges for calls to these numbers are not distance-dependent. They can cost as much as UKL 0.50 (USD 0.90) per minute to call and can forward the call to virtually any phone number in the world. Forwarding numbers can be set up for free and completely anonymously via websites such as uknumbers.com.
In most cases when you call one of these numbers the phone that starts ringing will actually be a mobile phone somewhere in Nigeria, as the UK number has been programmed to auto-forward calls to another number. These +44 70xx numbers are used as a redirector service to obscure the fact that the person taking the call is not actually based in Europe. The UK number is used to lend credibility to the scam. Unfortunately the authorities in the UK do not seem to be taking action to shut down such phone numbers.

THIS is made today between GUCCI DESIGNING CO.UK of the 1st party and you as a 2nd party.
For good consideration, GUCCI DESIGNING CO. employs the Employee on the following terms and conditions.
ARTICLE 1: CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract period shall be for Contract duration: the contract shall last for duration of 48 consecutive months; 4 years and could be renewed based on employee's satisfactory services to the Company
ARTICLE 2: SALARY
GUCCI DESIGNING CO shall pay Employee on satisfactory performance of the services the sum of (£ 7, 300) Seven thousand three hundred Great Britain pounds (Tax Exclusive) MONTHLY.
SEVEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED GREAT BRITAIN POUNDS ONLY) monthly, equivalent depending on employee's home country.
The employee will be reimbursed by the employer for reasonable moving expense incurred only as a result of relocation or early termination of leases, storage charges; procurement of travel documents. Reimbursements shall be made before employees embark on journey not later than Five (7) working days after submission of employee's expense report and receipts, this after the acquisition of relevant traveling papers through the assistance of the company's legal adviser on Immigration Matters..
Employer shall also take care of employees' air ticket including that of employees' family only on employees' early notification to employer and as shall be requested by employee (ONLY TWO FAMILY MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED)
ARTICLE 3: Duties and Position.
GUCCI DESIGNING CO. hires the Employee in the capacity of Employee's duties may be reasonably modified at GUCCI DESIGNING CO. discretion from time to time.
ARTICLE 4: Employee to Devote Full Time to GUCCI DESIGNING CO UK.
The Employee will devote full time, attention, and energies to the business of the Aviation industry, and, during this employment, will not engage in any other business activity, regardless of whether such activity is pursued for profit, gain, or other pecuniary advantage. Employee is not prohibited from making personal investments in any other businesses provided those investments do not require active involvement in the operation of said companies.
ARTICLE 5: Confidentiality of Proprietary Information.
Employee agrees, during or after the term of this employment, not to reveal confidential information from rendering any services to any entity to whom said information has been or is threatened to be disclosed, the right to secure an injunction is not exclusive, and the COMPANY may pursue any other remedies it has against the Employee for a breach or threatened breach of this condition, including the recovery of damages from the Employee.
ARTICLE 6: Disability.
In the event that the Employee cannot perform the duties because of illness or incapacity for a period of more than 1 month, the compensation otherwise due during said illness. The Employee's full compensation will be reinstated upon return to work. However, if the Employee is absent from work for any reason for a continuous period of over 2 months, the COMPANY may terminate the Employee's employment, and the GUCCI DESIGNING CO. Obligations under this agreement will cease on that date.
ARTICLE 7: Termination of Agreement.
Without cause GUCCI DESIGNING CO. may terminate this agreement at any time upon 7 days' written notice to the Employee the Employee will continue to perform his/her duties and may be paid his/her regular salary up to the date of termination. In addition, GUCCI DESIGNING CO. will pay the Employee on the date of the termination a severance allowance, less taxes and Social Security required to be withheld, without cause, the Employee may terminate employment upon 6 days' written notice to the Employer. Employee may be required to perform his or her duties and will be paid the regular salary to date of termination but shall not receive severance allowance. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this agreement,
ARTICLE 8: Death Benefit.
Should Employee die during the term of employment, GUCCI DESIGNING CO.LTD shall pay to Employee's Next of kin/Family any compensation due through the end of the two months in which death occurred?

ARTICLE 11: Settlement by Arbitration.
Any claim or controversy that arises out of, or relates to this agreement, or the breach of it, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the United Kingdom Arbitration Association. Judgment upon the award rendered may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
ARTICLE 12: Severability.
If, for any reason, any provision of this agreement is held invalid, all other provisions of this agreement shall remain in effect. If this agreement is held invalid or cannot be enforced, then to the full extent permitted by law any prior agreement between the GUCCI DESIGNING CO. (and any predecessor thereof) and the Employee shall be deemed reinstated as if this agreement had not been executed.

this is with respect to my offer letter from GUCCI FASHIONS UK today and they got my cv from the website and asked online information and questionare on the pattern of emloyment letter
after three days of my answering they selected me and sent me the offer letter with all contracts details explaining how to approach the immigration dept in london etc and they have already forwarde my papers in the immigration office in london
so as per the rules laid doen by the co we have to complete the detaisl for visa etc in 12 days by submitting the profile to them &on receieving the same they will fax the detaisl to the british embassy in the country bwhich i belong there upon i have to submit my identity and on the passport that will attest the visa
also the post they had asked us for options and as mentioned in my questionare they gave me the post of rewsearch and development director in their firm with all perquisites

hey, even my fiance recieved a mail stating dat he got shortlisted 4 da post of an IT expert, whn i posted my resume 2 them in 3 days they sent me the offer letter with alot of details, they said we have 2 mail a solicitor in london, but i've not yet contacted them, they are saying to pay me pound 9000 monthly, n the contract was for 60 mnths.please tell is it true or fake.I got a reply from mr.william greens hr dept.
I completely agree with Pawan Mishra. I have also recently received the same mail dated 8/05/09. Asking me to report by June 22, 2009. Fortunetly i have my well wishers who can guide me. Am sure they would continue to target more job seekers, the company should take serious action against these criminals, before someone gets into the trap.
