I am writing this mail on my behalf. On 12th Ot 2011, I was traveling with my wife from Karnal to Saharanpur. I booked my seat no 42-43 for BUS no “HR45A-5020” (Morning time 7o clock) from counter.
Near about 2 KM from Radaur (Yamuna nagar) our bus got stopped due to some of technical Issue. As per bus driver and conductor, they were blaming/abusing Government for bus problem as govt. applied the ‘Speed Governor’
I had to go to Saharanpur so I asked to conductor to refund the ticket amount after deduction fare till Radaur then he denied me to repaid amount. As per his word “I have not given these ticket to you, get amount from you took/purchased ticket.
He replied me to adjust me on another bus, I agree with him and got ready to adjust on another bus but even after 10-12 buses crossing and we waited around 1 hour they were unable to adjust us. Buses were coming with full of passengers and not stopping there. Many passengers adjusted their self on personal things
My destination was 2 hours ahead from Saharanpur and we were getting late so after around 1 hour waiting I asked to conductor to have the signature on my Tickets so that I can go to Radaur Bus Stop and can catch another bus but he said me NO to sign the Tickets. When I asked him again then they (driver and conductor) started abused with me. They behaved me very badly and they both started me pushing.
I said them to put their complaint against the behaviour and asked to give me complaint book but they have not given me book. He replied me this is not his responsibility to take care of passengers in case bus got any technical problem.
As per their word” we will not provide you any complaint book to you and driver replied me “tum jitna marji jor laga lo, mera koi bhi kuch nahi bigar sakta”.
I started recording of our conversation but when they realised about on recording they tried to pull off My phone from my pocket and started quarrel with me
i took G.M. no from inside the bus and spoke with G.M. Steno, I put my complaint there, that person asked me to put the complaint in written
I have little recording of our conversation and I can provide you as a proof on their behave
After all above things, again I request them to sign my Tickets so that I can arrange my travel on my personal behalf and after lots of quarrel, he signed my tickets then I arranged my travel myself.
Sir, they behaved very badly that’s why I am putting this complaint against their behaviour. Refund of tickets is not a matter but Bus staff should behave gently, after all they are public servant and they cannot be permitted to behave like Hitler. These kind of staff only reduce the quality and image of Roadways Department
I am sure, you will investigate the issue and will take appropriate action against the complaint. You can also check with karnal office for my telephonic complaint.
I am working in Gurgaon as a software engineer and can be present in Karnal only on Sundays but I am always available on Phone and Emails. Also I have recording clips and I can available to you if you required.
As per my knowledge conductor name was “Nirmal Singh”, I don’t know the name of Driver.
