[Resolved]  Hcl Laptop — NOVICE CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE

I had purchased an HCl laptop for 32K this jan. 4 days baack i while i was working on it, the cursor started behaving strangely. it was selcting things on desktop itself and moving in different directions. Looked wacko and spooky!. i thought it must be a virus.i formatted my lappy with xp again. all the drives were clean. Then i was about to install softwares on it, again the cursor wokred d same. Whenevr i switch on the laptop, cursor works fine for 40 min, then it never works. What is it ? Virus problem. touchpad problem?
I had send it to HCL customer care center. Though my lappy was already in warrenty but that guy said we give waraanty of hardware not software. what a ! i left my lappy there for a day and next morning that e called me saying mam u have software prob, please pay 350/- / I paid him the money. I tok the lappy. and found that thwe same problem persit. Now what the hell is that. IF ITS A HARWARE PRTOBLEM, DID HE HAD NO BRAIN.I HAD TOLD HIM THAT IT NEVER WORKS AFTER 40 MIN. STILL HE GAVE ME D LAPPY BACK JUST FORMATTING. HOLY COW I HAD TO PAY HIM 350 FOR FORMATTING. I KNOW HOW TO FORMAT MAN. NOW IT HAPPENED Y'DAY, IM PLANNING TO TO AND THROW IT ON HIS HEAD.

I have a DVD of window vista home premium. I have installed the DVD of windows agains due to my laptop window is corrupt, but now window is not activate onlline. Kindly suggest how to window activate online. the window shows the error the product key is not valid.

KODAK - C- S — Gifts not received

My membership no. ITBC 08727159, Invoice no ORB[protected] of 20.08.09, Order no. OGB[protected] OF 18.08.09. Special offer no.[protected]B[protected].
I have received Koda camera on 25.08.09. The parcel doesn't contain assured gifts of free holiday voucher and free to and fro air tickets. This ia a breach of trust given to customer on phone by Mr. Mohite pande. Morever, Nobody lifts phone on your contact no[protected] even after dialiing it several times. Only prerecorded music is heard. Pl clarify whether U want to give free gifts or otherwise this is an open public cheating to disposee off the goods of company which is not sold in the market. Memory card and cover was also not supplied by you anlongwith the camera.
Pl clarify per rturn dispatch.

i brought a 1 Gb ram !! ...
when i installed it in my pc...
it is still showing tht my Ram is 512(480) !!...

Contained herein is the HCL notebook B38 C2D (Sr. No : BQ84AX194933), purchased on 23.02.2009, which is still under warranty.
The problem that I am experiencing is as follows:
1) Hanging Problem
2) Boot up problem
3) Battery Back is not proper, it is just giving 45 min. to 1 hour back, need replacement with new battery.

Service level problem from HCL : -

1) My laptop have been submitted on 17.08.009 through seller -Tanya Elect. (Metro Plaza) at your following service Centre

After continue follow up they have said that required part have been order to HCL, again I have follow up matter with them on 27.08.09 and they said that part have been received, you may take your lap top on 29.08.2009 but on 29.08.09 when I have been enquired about my Lap top they have given me a surprised that your Lap top have been returned without rectification of problem because their tie up with HCL have been expired so you have to submit your laptop to some other HCL authorised centre.

2) Undersigned have been reported above matter to your noida number[protected] and they have alloted me compliant number 010909/16 alongwith provided new service centre details as mention below :-

H-16, First floor, Ganganagar, Near IIMT, Meerut

But at above address we have observed that this is a Guest house which you have declared as your service centre without having proper resources and even your person are unable to tell me when I can get my Lap top after rectification of all problems.
Meanwhile my laptop is laying in your above address against compliant number 010909/16 and receipt number 212204

I would be most appreciative if you would either make the necessary repairs alongwith extend Warranty period which I have lost in your service center due to unadequate facilties of HCL services in Meerut or send me a replacement.

Please advise us as to your intentions as soon as possible.

My self Shailesh Punjabi being a customer of your HCL product is being very dissatisfied with your product quality & most with your services provided by your employee at your ( front line division) 4th floor, 16 swastik co-op. society, nr. stadium circle, navrangpura, ahmedabad-380006 by Mr. Sharad Gupta ( Head).

We have purchase HCL laptop keep in mind the it's brand name & it an reputed company must been having a good quality product & good service but it was our mistake.

We have purchase laptop & within two month the Dark Display (FL Invetor)
problem arrived as it was in warranty HCL front line division changed part (after 15 days time period), again after 2nd month same problem of Dark display occure again front line division has
changed the same part again.

Now again this same problem held after 8 month again same they asked to change the part but this time u have to pay F L Invetor 450/- and service charge 1685/- as ur laptop warranty expired and the product which we have changed for Dark Display(FL Invetor) has no warranty u have to pay.

If we give u waiver then you don't have to pay for the product but you have to pay service charge 1685/- which is four time than the product charge.

I simply say this is way to harass the customer in any way.

We are simply feedback o[censored]r terrible services & charges. Hope we aware our friends, relatives that never go for HCL brand any time.

i have purchased hcl laptop on 30-7-09 from hcl digiexpress showroom sector-22, chandigarh after an advertisement in the tribune that they are giving free reebok watch and a reebokbag with each purchase.the vendor said that he has registered my laptop with the company and within 15 days you will get your gift. but on giving e-mail for number of times no gift has been send but e-mail from [protected]@hcl.in says my vendor has not mentioned promotional code so they will not give the gift. but vendor says without code registration cannot be done.i have been cheated by the firm and vendor, please help me.

I Purchased HCL TFT on 24/02/2008 . I am facing the problem on my TFT 17". Their is a line on left side the screen on display. I think this is due to faulty TFT. It has been already repaired one time by your people but the same problem occurs now in exact same portion on TFT screen.

It is a very much frustrated motion for a BIG company like HCL to blub a customer in this way. my story goes like this, i purchased a HCL notebook p28 PDC from HOLLASONS TRADING CO. (P) Ltd. "HOLLAPAL" # 280/18-2, 2nd Floor 46th Cross, 7th main jayanagar, 5th Block, Bangalore-560041, on 5th of this month[protected]in my name. using for about 4 (four) days at bangalore with adapter on, i never knew it had some defect with the battery. and when i came to Manipur on 10th, i came to know that there is no back up for battery. now i can't use my notebook without electric. I talk to HOLLASONS TRADING CO. and there is no helpful words from their side. and i talk to one of the customer care executive and they would like me to talk to Guwahati service as there is no service center in imphal right now. and my comlanint no. is 20B090219. so would you please guide me to fulfill my request. waiting for your kind help. thanking you
