We had purchased two HCL TABLET ME U1 from HCL retail stores from Delhi and Noida. These had cos-ted us rs 8000/ each.
Right after the usage of just a week we realized that the battery backup and the APPS were not in good working conditions.
We contacted immediately the HCL service center in noida sector-2. To our amazement we were taken a back when our APPS problem was taken care of and we were told that there is no other problems, but soon we again had to face the similar problem about the battery now. The most humiliating part is that after contacting and taking at-least 10 to 12 rounds of the service center ,we have realized that the center is remains perpetually closed.
After being made fool of, by such 'so called prestigious company' When I rang up at the customer center today itself at toll free no 18601800425
the result again was still the same 'this line is busy'. After that i tried sector -2 no for HCL infosystems Ltd. A-78,sector-2 noida, no 9818645159 which was also giving results of 'no does not exist'. Finally after being disgusted by the companies behaviour and ethics i rung up to the CORPORATE OFFICE sector-11 noida at their sales desk(0120-2406105) (ext 3 at 2:43 pm). One Ms.Sweta( as she introduced her self first) took the call and instead of listening to our problems very categorically told us that' THE COMPANY ONLY TAKES THE COMPLAINTS OF ONLINE BUYERS AND THAT YOU AS A CUSTOMER SHOULD KNOW HOW AND FROM WHERE YOU SHOULD BUY YOUR PRODUCTS, THE COMPANY DOES NOT TAKE OWNNESS OF ALL THIS'. When we told her now i am writing the complaint to Consumer Forum, she suddenly change her name to Ms Sakshi.
Sir I am amazed at the behaviour that these companies deal with their customers. I am extremly disgusted with the promisses that these companies make early while we a buying their products and even more at their incapability to handle situations at customers requests . I sincerly request you to look into this condition seriously .Awaiting for your kind reply .
