Customer care of HDFC

I have a savings account (AC no. 005671000006835 ) in HDFC Bank at Hughes Road Branch, Mumbai since 8 months. I also have debit account in the same branch. My performance is also very good as none of my cheques have bounced yet.
I recently applied for a personal loan of Rs.10, 00, 000 in my bank and was assured by the customer care that i was eligible to get the loan and was askedto show the papers.
Then suddenly these people rejected my application without a valid reason explained to me.I was totally shocked by this unproffessional behaviour of this bank.The costumer care department is also very rude and does not answer our queries satisfactorily. They also havent yet returned my papers.

On the same papers & same amount another bank is ready to pay me the loan.

I am well respected person in my society and am capable of paying back.

I want to know if the assurances that HDFC gives are just limited till their brochures.
I request the bank management to pay attention to this.

Dear Sir, I am a saving acoount holder of your esteemed bank vide account No. 06051000018452. On 21th April 2011, I submitted form to open a savings account of Minor son Mr. Vishal sandil. A period of 10 days has been elapsed, but your bank could not opened an account.
On 24th Apr 2011, I submitted documents to convert my account No. 06051000018452 as joint account with my wife Mrs. Neelam Sandil. It is still pending.
My Niece Mrs. Saroj Kumari recently has opened an account No. 05261000104770. She deposited her two Cheques bearing machine No.961056 for Rs. 21, 750/- and Cheque No. 962662 for Rs. 4, 850/- of HDFC Branch, Sonepat (Haryana) at GT Road Phagwara (Pb) branch on 20th April 2011.
Extremely sorry to inform you that the above mentioned problem are still pending. Please clear that should be faith on HDFC in future or close all the accounts.

I had opened the Saving A/c 01831070000739., with "0" balance provision.

Bank had added the condition of minimum 10, 000/- balance, without my writing consent.

Now bank had deducted AQB charges, by reason that "not maintaining sufficient Balance in Saving A/c"

On complaining today (05-05-2011), it is advised that "you have to give the application for 0 balance"

I want to credit back, whatever WRONGLY deducted from my Saving A/c 01831070000739.

Dear Sir,
Iapplied for a car loan of Rs. 3, 00, 000/- (3 lacs)fromHDFC Bank Ltd. through M/s SHRI HARI AUTOMOBILES, DELHI, 10 days back. This application (21275177)was move throughM/s SHRI HARI AUTOMOBILES, DELHI.I was inform that a loan of Rs. 2, 70, 000 /- has been approved. However sinceI wanted loan amount of Rs. 3, 00, 000/-.I asked them to increase the loan amount to Rs. 3, 00, 000/- on this after one dayI was informed that my loan amount has been increased to Rs. 2, 85, 000/-.I requested to M/s SHRI HARI AUTOMOBILES, DELHI to send the Disbursement Order (DO) to M/s T. R. Swahney, East Gokulpuri, Main Wazirabad Road, Delhi-94.
However, on 29/04/2012 theDO was sent to M/s T. R. Swahney was of Rs. 2, 70, 000/- only.I requested M/s SHRI HARI AUTOMOBILES, DELHI to look at the same and give me the freshDO of Rs. 2, 85, 000/- till today. They could not provide aDO of Rs. 2.85 lacs to M/s T. R. Swahney. TheDO that they send to M/s T. R. Swahney Rs. 2.85/- was of M/s SHRI HARI AUTOMOBILES, DELHI instead ofHDFC Bank Ltd. M/s T. R. Swahney refuse to owner theDO of M/s SHRI HARI AUTOMOBILES, DELHI.I had asigned an agreementKIT for taking the loan of Rs. 2.85 lacs and had given thePDC's accordingly. sir, I have an HDFC ac 3991000026139, in fancy bazar branch, Guwahati, Assam. I have been maintaining my account for last 8 years.But an amount of Rs 730.34 under IBT code and amount of Rs 73.03 under CHD code was debited on 16-05-12 from account. last month also an amount of Rs 200 was debited from account.I hope you will reverse the amounts to my account.

Dear Sir,
I am a zero balance salary A/C holder in HDFC Bank Ltd, Damodar Building, GR FLR, Swatantra Path, Vasco-da-Gama (Goa), and my A/C No, is 00721050094100 and has been operating the A/C for the last2 years. It is observed that a sum of Rs.24.09, 110.30, 112.36 (3rd party cash txn (Mar/Apr/May 2012) and Rs.9.62, 376.43, 393.26, AMB CHRG (Mar/Apr/May 2012) Total=1026.06 has been debited wrongly. As such, please revert back the above amount to show the actual credit balance Rs.1044.01 instead of Rs.17.95. At present I am on study tour in Kerala and will be back to Goa after one year. I hope you will co-operate with me for further operation of my said salary a/c.

Dear Sir,
I have a serious complaint against your service which should be taken care of. The fact is that I issued one cheque no.795453 for Rs.20000 on Axis Bank Ltd.dated 1.1.2012 to IFCI Limite-Infra Bond for purchase of infrastructure bond to get tax exemption.But unfortunately the cheque was dishonoured on 7.1.2012 and returned to your bank-Wood street branch(700003) being the branch code 240. It is of great surprise that I got the returned cheque a few days back i.e. on7.6.12. Had this been returned within the stipulated period ( 10-15days) I could have applied for the purchase of the said bond for the second time since the last date for application was 31.3.2012. Due to your negligence I am now to bear a tax burden of Rs.6018.

May I request you to justify your irresponsibility in this regard.

Sub: - Wrong message

My son has opened a SB account in your Kothrud Branch (0149) last month. As soon as it was activated, he gave an application for closure of his account in Sahakarnagar Branch, Pune (0359) and transfer of the amount to this new account.

I have only a few things to mention.

1) As the above transaction took place on 6th October, I got a SMS on my mobile. The account is of my son jointly with my wife. This is against the privacy rules.

2) He has received one SMS stating that the balance in his S’nagar branch is low. I think once the instruction for closure of a/c is given, such messages are ridiculous.

3) This whole process of account opening and tranfer of funds almost took one month.

Please look into the matter.

Dear sir

Yesterday i visited HDFC bank (I will not mention which branch or city because it is generally seen in all)
i was in a Que to deposit some money in my saving account. when i saw a bank employee breaking through the line and saying the teller "yeh mera clasic customer hei, iska deposit pehle karo" then after 5 mins another cam and said "yeh mera preferred customer hei iske payment pehle karo."

I mean it is well understood and accepted that a classic or preferred customer have the privilege not to stand in the line and the person appointed by bank for him will do the same thing for him. but my question is:

Do that bank employee have the right to trespass other customers who have been standing there for hours?
Shouldn't that employee not stand in Que and wait for his turn on behalf of his customer?

The point i want to highlight here is that other customer feel neglected and there is hurt burning feeling and feeling of being inferior. Do other customer have no worth in bank eyes? or is bank just looking to enhance it`s business? the problem is very sewer. i saw the customer ahead of me snatching back his depot money and saying "asse adhe ghante ton line wich laga han, asse pagal he" and the teller was feeling helpless because he was doing what he was being told by his senior officials.

Please do not treat my email as complaint but as a general query and more importantly a serious matter of concern because this small thing is/can hamper the customer service image earned by bank staff.

hope to get a reply on a positive note.
