[Resolved] HDFC Bank — WRONG ACT TRANSFER | |||
On 14th Nov I made an online transfer to a beneficiary in Surat from my act in Chennai.The sum was sent for wedding .After 3 and a half weeks the transfer still hasn't come to correct account .Somehow in spite of correct act no and ifsc code etc it went to Agra Branch, beneficiarys bank is Bank of Baroda.Hdfc bank said it was bob fault to accept.I wrote to hdfc nodal officers, chief nodal officer and to ombudsman but still no solution.Chief nodal wrote back saying the amount was credited to beneficiary already, which my bank manager says is wrong.I believe the fault is Hdfc but they are all so slack, I wonder if I am going to ever get that money back. Bob Agra says they haven't received any formal letter of demand to reverse the entry. I am now fed up.The wedding has passed with a lot of embarrassment.and I,- prey.
