Dispute transactions have been done on my credit card account. The details of the account are as follows:

Credit Card Number: [protected]
Validity: month-11, year-2010.

I have filed a dispute with the banks credit card section, but have not been informed about the status of the dispute.

Inspite i receive a statement and a request to make the payment for the purchase that has not been done by me.

I have sent them a letter addressing the dispute but have not received any reply fromt them.

The letter sent to the HDFC bank Credit card is as department is as written below.

Request you to please go through the letter and help me out or suggest me the bestest way possible to get out of this.

"Dear Sir/ Madam,

Dispute transactions have been done on my credit card account. The details of the account are as follows:

Credit Card Number: [protected]
Validity: month-11, year-2010.

The last transaction done on my account was on Jan12, & Jan13 where i booked an online ticket. Please find the bill attached herewith.
And thereafter the transaction I did was yesterday i.e. on May10, 2010 on ICICI prudential.

I see some transactions on my account in the name of PAY PAL for the amount of 6370 on May 7, 2010, and 1,26,000 + some denominations (which i am not sure of since I can no more view my credit card account details.) on May 6, 2010.
Also as talked to CC executive I got to know that some transactions have been done in the month of APRIL also in the name of PAY PAL the details of which i donot have since I have not received the statement for this month and the card is also blocked.

Above all, as per the CC executive my billing address is also been changed which was previously,

Plot 1-1/A1, Navde phata, Near Emerck, MIDC Taloja, Panvel-410208.

Also my email add has been changed from [protected]@yahoo.com where i used to receive my bills. "

Dear Sir,

I disagree with the transactions that have been listed on my card account. i have immediately launched a complaint but have never received any confirmation from the bank on such a huge transaction amount.

REquest you to please let me know how do i get out of this problem

    I used HDFC credit card [protected] from 2005 to 2006 Jan.in the month of jan 2006, i didint receive statement so i could not pay the balane amount.

    When i called by HDFC agents for collecting the outstanding and the payment which was very mach heigher than my uses. So requested to have settlement and than the amount of settlement was worked out Rs. 56000 on six installment than i arranged 6nos...

    Want to complaint against Hdfc bank as I have attached the letter they send me stating that the account has been closed and settle status is been taken off but when I called Cibl today they informed the status for my account is still the same(settle) as today is 14 sep they also sent me the cibl report dated 27 july where in that it reflect the account is been closed but that doesn't seen to be the case ans also I received a letter from RBI OFFICE OF THE BANKING OMBUDSMAN ,according to them to this account has to be closed. I again feel been cheated Please check the attachment as I fail to understand do bank and Cibl have different database? Check the dates in cibl reprt it's fishy as if they themselves have made the edition in the report.

    This is regarding the Credit Card no. [protected], which was issued to me in Jul’12. I was told during the sale of this CC that the membership will be waived off in case I use 5000 Rs. in the first month of issue.

    I got surprise by looking at the statement of Jul month where I was charged 673/- Rs. as Membership fee. I called the HDFC helpline and spoke with the agents on the dispute, and spoke with Faizi one of the supervisor. I was given assurance by Faizi that he would be calling me back and issue will be resolved. I asked for cancellation of the card but was told to continue, but since then I got no revert from Faizi or anybody and I have been calling again n again for resolution. Spoke with Ritu one of the agent who refused to help.

    In hope of getting a resolution I got delayed in making payment and had to pay full amount to avoid any finance charges.

    Pls help resolve this issue or else I would continue with my other cards and get this card disconnected.

      Dear Sirs / Madam,

      Please note that last year November 2009, I have taken personal loan (Account No.[protected] from HDFC Bank. The loan amount was Rs. 5 lac. I have used the money for my Chemist Shop, which I have opened on 15th Dec. 2009. This shop does not give much return to pay the monthly loan installment and even to look after my family properly. As at this moment, my father is supporting my family.


      Actualy I am a customer of this Bank since 2006. At that time, I have taken personal loan for my mother joint knee operation. After this, I took 3 loans. Since then, I am paying monthly intallement & no intallement has been bounced. Now my present installement is Rs. 13172/- per month. From thisAugust, I am not paying the installement.

      On this pretext, on August 18, 2010, I have requested the Bank for staying monthly installement upto 5 months. After this period, I will close the account.

      The bank ignored my request. On this on 30th Aug. 2010 I along with my wife visited HDFC Bank Collection Centre, Rajouri Garden (New Delhi). But their no one has attended me properly. Lastly security guard asked me to meet Mr. Vinod Deswal. Detailed him all the facts & oblidged him to accept my request. He has softly told me that if I don't pay the installment till 5 months, interest & bouncing charge will be billed on me. That I accept. I am not saying that I will not pay. That's why I went to the Loan Collection Centre to resolve the issue. I can't pay the monthly installment till five months & after this period I will close my Loan Account.

      Still I am receiving call from the Bank's executive to pay the monthly loan installement. Also they are mentaly touturing. I am still communicating with them. All the communication supporting I have.

      Sir, you are requested to look after my case & need yours support to resolve the issue.

        I have a salary account with HDFC Bank.On August 7th 2010,i submitted a request to JP Nagar HDFC brach for a Smart draft(OD) facility & i was told i will get it in 15 working days.Today it is 13th September 2010 and no employee is able to tell the status.Moreover,bank charges some1000 rupees for this facility.But the time when i need the money if i dont get the same,them i am at loss.The brach people say that all approval happen from mumbai and they cannot help.So my question is that inspite of having salary account,i went thru back-ground checks etc,still i did not get the facility after 1 month.
        Is this the kind of service HDFC provides to its account holders.

I have also registered the same mobile number on Do not Call Distrub registration on Bank Site.Till I am receiveing call from HDFC.I want to sue them on immediate basisdue to my mental frustation.             This is to inform that my family and I are being constantly harassed by the HDFC officials and their collection agencies. HDFC officials (names enclosed with their mobile numbers) have been forcefully entering my house and have threatened my parents (who are retired and are Senior citizens) of illegal consequences against me.
            My parents are the patients of High Blood Pressure and other diseases. They have been very scared and ill since this incident took place a couple of times in my absence in the last week of the previous month. They had come again 2-3 days back.
            I have gone through a series of such illegal events since the time I started my relationship with HDFC. A sequence of such incidents with proof (e.g., email by HDFC officials, proof of phone calls and SMSs can be furnished by me whenever required. The tress pass by HDFC officials and the goons hired by HDFC must have been observed by the security guards at my apartments.
            Due to some financial constraints, I have not been able to pay the EMIs of my personal loan from HDFC for a few months. I requested HDFC to waive off EMIs for three months. A lady staff (name attached) sent me an email saying, she is going to process my request for the same. But, later I realized that it was a false commitment to make her bonus (incentives). Since then, I have gone through a rigorous process and have been fooled by 3-4 HDFC officials (their names with Mobile numbers are attached)
            In the past also, HDFC illegally duped me with several thousand rupees (For example, Once HDFC Bank withdrew more than Rs 30,000/- from my Salary account to pay the HDFC Credit Card without my consent). I can submit the proofs whenever required. Despite all this, I am willing to pay HDFC Rs 5000/- per month. This can be easily done by increasing the payback period. I also requested HDFC to grant me a top-up loan so that I may pay up other loans and streamline the existing loan with HDFC. All my efforts have been futile and HDFC is now acting like a goon.
            I am highly scared for my parents (who live alone during day time) and myself. As I am seeking the help of the Police and the Consumer court (and informing the same too HDFC through email), I would expect that HDFC should stop its illegal collections from me. Any such effort should be treated as criminal acts until court gives its verdict.

              This is to inform you that i ws having HDFC credit card long back around 4 yrs back, just 2 days back i received a call from HDFC BANK Credit card division by Mr.Arun-AVP-Delhi based Collection stating that i am having outstanding 1.5 lac, part from this he started abusing me in Ph also.
              Now today one person came to my house( where as no one is aloud to visit for collection at any body home according to court) and again that person instite me to talk to same person.When i had a talk again same attitude was there.
              Kindly suggest me what to do or i will do police complaint if any person came to my house from HDFC bank again.

              Respected Sir/Madam,

              Myself is Samarpan Sayal, and I am holding a savings account in HDFC Bank, Dharampura Bazaar Branch Patiala. On 15th September ’08, I went on to deposit some cash into my A/C no. [protected] at Chhotti Baradari, Branch Patiala . The teller named ‘MONIKA SHARMA’ at the desk refused to deposit the money on the ground of my savings account being at another branch. She told me that the cash can be deposited only at the Branch where you holding your account. When I insisted and told her that anybody can deposit cash into my account from anywhere in India, this is my own account and you will have to deposit the same. At this, she used bitter language against me. She told me that you will have to pay third party charges if you deposit at another branch. I ask from you, does not your employees at teller desk know that what does third means. And also she was misbehaving when I still insisted. She advised me I n a taunting way that If you cannot go to the Dharampura Bazaar Branch, then you should open your account at this branch. Is this the way your employees behave with the customers. Then I approached help desk with my problem, the person at help desk told me that you can deposit the same, rather anybody can deposit from any branch. He signed at the deposit slip, but she (teller) flatly refused me even after I presented the deposit slip signed by the help desk executive. Her behavior was very rude and unworthy of the position she is holding. Then I again approached the help desk, and then the executive came with me to the teller and asked her to deposit the amount. Then she told him that today’s deposit limit of Rs. 10 lacs has been reached, that’s why I was not depositing.
              It is not the customer’s headache whether the deposit limit has been reached or not. How can you refuse the customer by befooling him and telling him the wrong reason? I was very much harassed and even felt insulted. I need a personal apology of her also a departmental action against her within 7 days of the receipt of the mail. Otherwise I shall approach consumer forum for the lack of services as well as harassment caused.

              myself kushagra dubey working as a team manager with the hdfc bank at
              chandani chowk branch and reporting to the sales manager Mr. Vikesh
              Jain under Regional sales manager Mr.Vikas Vadhawan.
              Sir, i wanted to say that i joined my job on 19th january, 2009 and
              working hence after . I completed all the formalities for joining and
              submitted the xerox of the documents attested, photo and ID what they
              asked for.
              I worked there since 19th January, and given some business .
              but on 16th march when i went to office after holy, Mr.
              Jain told me that I should not continue the office becoz he could not
              get my employee code, and continue after 31st march

              But on 1st April he told me that I should not continue the office becoz he could not
              get my employee code whether by some means I come to know that my
              code has already been generated and it is CK O7976.
              Sir, I worked there for .3...months, generated few leads, given
              business and invested my money. Sir u must be aware that working in
              the field as a marketing executive and searching for the business,
              how much it costs. I am living alone here from my family and facing a
              lot of problem. If they could not recruit me then they should at
              least told me so I may have another option and moreover when I worked
              there for ..3...months how they can say that I cant work further .
              Sir, is this the HDFC bank, is this the way authorities working
              there, is this the working ethics in this Bank, really I was not known
              to this thing, if any.
              So, please I request you to do me a justice, so that the young
              executive like me must not lost faith in your organization.

              I have outstanding payment of my credit-card, and i pay the amount to the bank as per the call i receive since last 8 TO 9 months without any prob, but this time due to some financial problem i am not able to pay the same on time for which I requested them to excuse this month and i even told them that i am ready to pay the fine, But to my surprise i was shocked by the behavior and treatment of the person of your bank. after requesting if this kind of inhumane behavior prevails in bank i am not going to have any relation with the hdfc and neither i am going to suggest anyone(i have referred four of my friend ). Along with i have personal loan with your bank also which i am paying without any delay dot on the time. and it is disheartening for the rude behaviour .(they even have sent a message to my office just for the payment of RS 1430) it is really insulting.
              i request you to please take steps and ask your employees to be polite and be considerate.
              sometimes people do have problems. ( i never said that i will not pay its my payment and i will surely pay).
              i want a solution and speedy response.

                Hi,

                I was having HDFC Credit Card # [protected].

                I asked the Customer Care person to cancel the card in Oct 2004. And they told me that it will be canceled once I cut the card and drop it in any of their ATM Drop Box. I did that and after that there was no communication from them. No letters, no Statements nothing.

                Recently I applied for Travel card and it got rejected stating that my name is there in the defaulter list in CIBIL. I enquired CIBIL and came to know that some 1,200 INR is outstanding in my HDFC Credit Card.

                I called the Customer Care Center and they told me they are no able to see the details in their system and I need to visit any HDFC Branch and they will give me the details. I went to the branch and they told me that I need to visit the Richmond Road, Bangalore, Credit Card Department.

                I went their and told the security. He called some person, Miss Neetu Sharma and she talked to me on the extension. She told me that have you got any confirmation from our side that the card is cancelled. You raised a request and it was not cancelled. Then I asked her then why I am not receiving any statements. To which she said since the card is in block status thats why statement is not generated. I asked her that after some particular time only the card will be blocked for that time even I didn't get any statement.

                Then I asked her to tell me how to go ahead and cancel my card now. To which she said there are two ways, either do a settlement in which your name will not be removed from CIBIL or pay INR 10,721. I asked her why INR 10,721 to which she said its company policy. Pay this and we will issue NOC to you and your name will be removed from CIBIL.

                Guys,

                In case if you have HDFC Credit Card then please cancel it now and ask them to send you in written that the card is canceled. And in case if you are planing to take HDFC Credit Card then please think about it.

                  Balance Was Rs.423.33/- on 1Sep .I have Deposited Rs.2500/-On 4Sep'10 & I deposited
                  Rs.8500/- on 6Sep'10 for My EMI'S of bike and car loan .Then I got a letter from HDFC
                  Credit Card Divison on 6sEP'10 ABOUT DUE AMOUNT ON cREDIT CARD lOAN The Date When Letter
                  Was Generated That Was 1Sep'10 I Received It on 6sep'10 It stated To deposit The Pending
                  Amount Otherwise they Will Debit account in That Letter They had given Time till
                  16sep'2010.Today On 8sep when I called Cust. Services They said no information available &
                  then i called up Grievenace of HDFC bank they said will get back to me within 24 hous they
                  have debit Rs.2567/-from my savings account & rest of Rs.8567 is on hold.I went to bank
                  retrieve account statement In which balance is Rs.0/-.

                  Kindly help me in this matter because Bank Departments are unware about the process & they
                  keep on trsfering calls from one Department To OTHER .I want You to help me in getting My
                  Money Back In my Account & I want Apology In written from Bank & Assurance That it won't
                  Happen Again in Future Because it totally violation of RBI Guidelines without a given date
                  how can they debit my account.Sir I Also requested You To Penalize the bank for such Big
                  Mistake Because Of Thios My Account Statement & Credibility gets Effected & at last need
                  reversal of late fees & ECS Bouncing Charges.

                  see your loan agreement and they must have given a address there for sending your grievances. send all your details there and copy it to office of RBI.

                  send the problem to all given addresses and in detail then if they dont respond then file consumer case.

                  first of all the banks can not hold the savings account like this and if you can withdraw whole amount then withdraw it immediately.

                  otherwise file case in consumer court tomorrow and get injunction from there for not adjusting your saving account. mention there that the bank has cheated you.

                  HDFC Bank — No information to customers & bank auto debits

                  HDFC Bank salary accounts are auto converted to regular savings bank account if salary is not credited for 3 months. There is no notification (an sms or any mails) to us regarding this. They landed up auto debited 827.25rs. from my account as penalty for non-maintanence of annual quarterly balance.

                  While I was totally unaware of their conversion of my salary account to normal SB account, this auto debit is a shock. The mails they sent, is very generic not trying to answer the exact question raised. The customer care executive stated to me while enquired over phone "HDFC bank has huge customer base. We cannot be sending you intimation on conversion and other stuff. That is not out botheration" This sounded rude and lack of customer friendliness to me!!

                  There is no such intimation of auto-conversion either mentioned in their internet sit or welcome kit or any mails/letters sent to me.

                  What is the way out from this?

                      Pre-approved personal loan rejected

                      Hello,

                      I am from Delhi, holding a salary account in Hdfc bank for more than 8 years and also a Credit card of hdfc bank. Last week Hdfc bank offered me a pre-approved personal loan of 1.52 L. Since I had a requirement, I agreed to it.

                      I was told that since it’s pre-approved and I also had my salary account with HDFC bank since years, I did not have to provide more documents except for a picture, proof of residence and 3 PDC cheques which I provided.

                      On enquiring about the procedure I was offered a guarantee that I will get loan of amount 1.5 L and was asked not to consider any other bank for my requirement. With this assurance, I committed someone for money. I provided all the documents as requested along with the blank PDCs. However, the pre-approved loan has been rejected. My loan reference no. is 17290738.

                      Please consider my problem and reply as soon as possible

                      HDFC — Personal Loan Pre Approval

                      Hi,

                      I have applied for a PL in HDFC Bangalore. It was a call from one of the consultant and i have gone thru them to apply for a PL. During submission i have given a wrong proof (Mismatch Bank statments) with my sign on the Print out. The same has been verified by the bank officials and they called me stating there has been a mismatch in the statements (what i have given v/s what they obtained from Bank).

                      They called me to the bank for further dicussion. Before that i have asked them are they ready to give the loan if i come over there to talk. I have told them yes the statement were wrong...i will provide you the recent one. Then later on they told they wont approve the loan...if i couldn't walk to bank by person they will inform RBI about my mistake and they will file for a fraudlent case.

                      Is this a valid one that too before approval? I would agree that they can do if i got the cheque from them and not paid the EMI's on time.

                      I am just confused and getting calls everyday but not attending as they keep on calling stating to come to bank. This is before the pre-approval status and would like to know the comments from you all.

                      Kindly let me know is there any problem (or) Are they external consultants making call to get some money from me.

                          well at the time of opening the account i was told that i will not be charged with any of the charges as given in the scheduled attached and after shifting my account to HDFC Bank i am sent a letter that all those services that were free are now chargeable and guess what i am now charged when i do more transactions in my bank account and that too by Rs. 8 for every transaction. I hope RBI looks into the matter and do the needful. all the charges debited should be reversed and the bank should be penalised for such unethical acts

                          I Have a Saving bank account with HDFC a/c no. is[protected] . The account was opened with zero balance On 31st october & 31st December , my account was debited by bank by Rs. 825 penalty for not maintaining average balance . I am running the account for last 10 years , this problem was arose . When contacted to bank , they said that my account have been converted into saving account by sending an email . Can A Bank do so ? Is Email be treated full source of communication in financial matters ? Should Bank send a registered letter before doing so ?

Now i am going to use this account and transfer a sum of Rs. 600/- in this account but bank has debited bank charges without any prior intimation which is very wrong practice. i request you to kindly reverse this amount and credit a sum of Rs. 600/- otherwise i will esclate this issue on higher level.                             I have raised the request for closing of my saving bank account in HDFC Bank, S.R.Nagar Branch, Hyderabad. They said the it will be closed with in 2 to 3 working days. When I called again to Customer care they said that I will be closed in 7 working days. Yet the account is not closed. I have raised the complaint with customer care of HDFC (Complaint Number : HYD059119). Yet there is no response from their end. Please do the need full.

                              I requested to hdfc credit card customer care executive many times since january 2010 to send my pin no. but till now i didnot received anything including statement. Sometimes they said your address is not under courier service and sometimes your pin has been dispatched by general post.
                              But after many request upto 10 ten times till now the result is zero even i am getting courier and post regularly except from hdfc.
                              So pls suggest me how could i get my hdfc credit card pin.

                                Respected Sir/Madam,

                                I am a sallary account holder fo HDFC Bank sinc 2008. I was also a credit card holder of this bank.
                                But due to financial issue i have settled my account on their conditions. I Had requested them for 10 instalments of Rs.26600, but they settled in 5 instalments & they said that they will adjust later. I have signed on settlement of 5 instalment. I have paid 14100 approx to them till date. But now they are saying that your settlement has been cancelled & you have to pay 35000 approx more. which i paid earlier, all got waste. now they are applying a huge rate of intrest, because I am in grip of their loop. They have hold all my fund from my account & blackmailing me to pay according to their conditions.
                                I am doing private job with sallary of 19000/- & i am not able to pay this huge amount.
                                Kindly help me in this issue, i am feeling harras with this issue.

                                  I Dhruval P Mehta had the platinum cards of HDFC Bank whose credit limit is Rs1,50,000.As till Aug'10 my outstanding was nearly 60000rs. As i have family problem and illness in my family i was not in conditin to pay ur minimum amount also last month. In aug'10 i got a call form ur aganecy that my outstanding is there i told them to pay till 25th as i was getting a sum of 40000 from my source. They say 'k again they call on 25th i told my money is coming before 7th of sep'10.So plz understand my problem and give me the time that the executive told me 'k. Suddenly call come from him again on 30th Aug'10 and he force me to pay the minimum amount but i was nt in condition to pay that. As then i tell i will pay before 7th sep'10. Then he started using the Bad Words on my mother , father and family. Hey these is the way for ur collection i want to asked that? Sir my credit card no is [protected]. Sir and i got as call from these no [protected]. So i want ot knw that these type of executive u hire. Hey now he is not picking up my phone also. He told he is not from the agency but from HDFC bank ringroad.Sir i[censored] see my A/c i am nt using your credit card since i had O/S more then 1 Lac. i knw that i have to completed my due then only can used it again. As i got many call form Your Bank for good scheme still i didnt accept it. If i want to default then i mite used 1,50,000 instead of 60,000.And my Credit was still working that the main points & i almost pay[protected] interest to your bank for my late payment. Still your bank consider us as a Defualter. Atleast see my statement and take the decision.On 2nd i got a call From Mr.Bilalbhai and he talk me really in nice and decent way, he promise that he will present that executive in front of me then i had pay 40000 to your bank. I also request U to take a action against that Executive else you will lose your premium customer. Hey i did not say that there is no mistake of my but clap always happen by two hands.                                   Hi All,

                                  My name is Vikash Aggarwal ([protected]@gamil.com) date of birth 15/02/1984, and I am a true and valuable customer for over an year now associated with HDFC.

                                  However, I raised a query regarding the late payment charges on my July or may be August credit card statement. Although, I have not received the statement on time which is why there was a delay in the payment for merely a day or two, I clearly mentioned this to your customer care executive on Thursday the 13/Sep/2012 and your executive stated that the charges will be reversed and you'll get a new and updated statement with the reversed charges. I was satisfied with the answer then.

                                  However, I still have no statement from HDFC as I want to pay and clear the correct outstanding amount.

                                  So, I called your customer service executive (Ms. Chanchal) today on 17/September/2012. Cutting the long story short, I like to mentioned that I raised the same question again regarding the revised statement, initially she disconneted the call. I dialed the call again and thankfully I got to speak with her again.

                                  Now, coming straight to the point she was no help at all with a very rude behaviour and not ready to liesten to me. Being a loyal customer of HDFC I have never thought of such an unacceptable behaviour of your CCE to me. She was not even telling her name properly when I said that I'll raise a complaint over such negligent behaviour.

                                  Keeping apart the behavioural and rudness of your CCE, I asked her, if I can speak with a floor Supervisor. She said that Supervisor's are available but she won't let me talk to them to get the resolution of my issue.

                                  She kept on saying that charges has been removed, but as a customer you please tell me that shall I trust merely the words of a person whom I don't even know, who's not even telling me her name.

                                  I just asked for some kind of confirmation regarding the waiver of the late charges of Rs. 500 for my mental satisfaction and piece of mind.

                                  But now I am forced to realise that I was too demanding and have asked something out of the blue? I was really not expecting such rude and arrogant behaviour from your CCE.

                                  Now I am feeling if by accepting your credit card facility and by using it regularly. Have I made a correct decision or not?

                                  I am losing faith in HDFC and their employee's unless I get a written confirmation that my late charges has been removed and please consider my suggestion as to keep the people as your CCE who know's how to talk with loyal cutomer's like me.

                                  Hope that you will look into this matter very seriously and revert with solution.

                                    I am totally disappointed with HDFC bank service.Recently I made debit card transaction for purchasing an item online.Since the item was out of stock they refunded the money on August 18.Till now I did not get that money.I contacted vendor and they send me all the transaction details.I showed the receipt to the bank and they are not responding.Its been around 15 days and there is no response from the bank.How can I complaint it to their higher authorities or should I complaint it to Ombudsman.Someone please help me.
