[Resolved] HDFC Bank Credit Cards — Misleading Customers and deducting amount from account without notice | |||
I have been mislead my Ms. Archita Biswas of HDFC Bank. She doesnot respond to customer queries and is abusive. I had settled my credit card account in Feb 2010, and paid two cheques amounting to Rs. 14, 000. Only Rs. 2000 and some change was agreed upon by HDFC representative to be waived off, which they had charged as interest. I chased the HDFC representative to give me a letter of closure, and submitted my credit card. The credit card was closed, but they kept adding interest to the Rs.2000 change. Suddenly I got a letter from HDFC bank that they are going to deduct Rs, 18, 000 from my salary account, which was a new account. I contacted Ms Archita, and all she did was abused and didnt answer her calls. And one fine day they deducted 19, 000 without giving any notice!! What is going on???HDFC BANK IS ON A SPREE TO LOOT CUSTOMERS and as employees they have appointed uneducated, unethical people, who dont know their job. I have the receipts of Rs.14,000 I had paid to settle the account in full. Was this information helpful? | |||
