I, Vikram Das, have a Compaq (hp) laptop C755TU. It was bought on 3/3/2008. S/No- CND8071MBV. Due to normal wear and tear, the LCD cable has become faulty. I submitted it to the HP service center in Kolkata, Redington (India) limited on 7/8/2012.. Today on 10/8/2012., I have been informed from the service center, that the LCD cable is no more available, so, they are recommending to change the LCD screen, even when the screen is completely fine. The total service charge along with the LCD screen amount to Rs. 14,492., which should have been much lower if they just replace the faulty cable. So its my earnest request , to take actions so that , the cable ONLY can be replaced, and make them stop harassing customers by producing extra bills.
