[Resolved] Hewlett-Packard India — Replacement of Laptop | |||
Dear Sir, I have purchased HP Pavilion DV6-6140TX Laptop, Product No.QC339PA, SL. NO.5CH1221DTL @ prize of 49999/- Rs. on 12Jul 2011. (Copy of Invoice is attached.) Hoping that after buying HP product, I will feel tension free as your brand HP is known for its good quality, maintenance free product and good service but I was wrong and felt very bad thinking that my half lakh rupees gone waste. This money is hard earned money Along with new laptop, I had also purchased genuine, license version Office 2010 and quick heal antivirus, thinking that will give trouble free laptop operation. Problems faced since I purchased laptop are mentioned here under :- i) Case ID – [protected] - Soon after 2 & ½ months of purchase of lap top, it started with first problem I faced was battery failure, the battery replaced by your service centre. Down time for said fault was 80 hrs appx. Complain register Date :20 Sep 2011 @ 1149 Hrs. Case ID Number :[protected] Complain solving Date :23 Sep 2011 @ 20:45Hrs Down Time :80 Hrs. Appx Remark ii) Case ID – [protected] - Second problem I which faced, the web cam of my laptop was not working, problem was attended and LCD panel was replaced by service centre.panel and result shown to me. At that time, the web cam was working OK. After half an hour I noticed that the web cam picture was dull and not clear. So, at the same time, I called up Mr. Rizwan and explained problem. He has given assurance that he will come again & attend the issue but till now issue not resolved. Complain register Date :21 Sep 2011 @ 1621 Hrs Case ID Number :[protected] Complain solving Date:28 Sep 2011 @ 1600 Hrs. : Down Time :168 Hrs. Appx. Remark :As per service report of attended technician, it was closed but problem is still alive iii) Case ID – [protected] & [protected] - Third problem I faced was DVD drive of my laptop not detected and web cam result not good. Complain lodged on 05 Nov 2011 but till todate the issue not resolved for which service engr. came on 12 Nov 2011 for replacing DVD drive, after replacing DVD drive, he also checked web cam but both problems were still not sorted out. So, Mr. Bhavesh, service Engr. requested me to carry laptop to service station for further repair. On 14 Nov 2011 another service Engr. came to my home and carried lap top to service centre. On telephonic enquiry, Service centre Engr. Mr. Rizwan stated that mother board of my laptop is malfunctioning, mother board is ordered from HP & the replacement job will be under taken once mother board is received. Complain register Date:02 Nov 2011 @ 1249Hrs Case ID Number :[protected] Complain solving Date: Not yet resolved till todate :19.11.11 In view of the above, now my laptop is left with only processor, hard disc & keyboard with out renewal. My laptop was completely dismantled & dissection done with in 04 months period. How can I believe that problems will not arise with said remaining parts here after? I feel that I suffered with great loss of my hard earned money, time and efforts for resolving said issues causing un necessary trouble & harassment to my family. Therefore, I kindly request you to review my case and help me to supply / issue new laptop against this defective piece or else if you can provide my money back then it will be great help.
