[Resolved]  Hindustan Lever Ltd - Pure It Water Filter — Request for battery change

Have been requesting for changing the battery in the Pure - it water filter. The service engineer has been calling me for the last one week to say that he is coming in the evening to do the job.

But the person doesnot turn up in the evening, with the result we need to wait for him at home.

We now repent for having purchased this product of Hindustan Lever Limited, which has a very very bad service back-up team.
This attitude of the engineer is totally ...totally frustating.

I would like to inform that whosoever wants to buy this product of HLL, pls dont go by the company name. You will be buying peace if you dont venture to buy.

One month back we order for batery kit, one person came with a batery kit to replce it But he did not replced it properly due to which the water is leaking and from last month inspite of calling the custmer care, every alternate day from last one monthe your persone was making us false promise but till date no one came to us to fitt it properly

I bought a battery of value Rs. 550 on 29/06/2011 from your dealer Vasundhara Services whose address is Shop No.-5, Main Market, Som Bazar, Prashad Gari, Ghaziabad ( Bill No. 5487). The dealer has come after I requested it to customer care service division for the replacement of the battery because it has gone read after there and half months of consumption.
The dealer has committed that we can consume 2250 litres of water with the new battery.. Our family is very small and on an average we consume maximum 12 litres a day so we expected that it will last for 6 months at least. But at the end of August the battery has gone half red and a complaint was registered against this on 27/08/2011. After seeing no response for 3 days we have again registered a complaint (the complaint no.: C[protected] on 30/08/2011. The customer care has sent the same dealer who has replaced the battery in June end. The dealer has said that sometimes the battery comes faulty and I the one among the unlucky customer to have it and please go for change again. The dealer was so rude to say that they are not from the company and they cannot support us on this.
I have forwarded the same message to the customer care and they have committed that it will be resolved soon. Then I kept waited and no response had come from the company. Finally I gave a call on 26/09/2011 and had a word with Mr. Atul (the supervisor). Mr. Atul has committed us that it will be resolved but nothing happened, the dealer came and gone without any commitment. I again approached the customer care almost 6 times then after and one by one every Supervisor has committed that they will resolved the issue but no result yet.
Today I again gave a call to the customer care and one of the executive Mr. Sarfaraz has committed that this time it will be resolved. I still have no assurance that whether it will be resolved or not only God knows. Suffering a lot from this and started assuming that this is how the company treat the customer after selling the product. It creates bad name in the market and definitely will affect the market sahre. Because if anyone will see the product at my home and ask for its feedback I will definitely not to suggest him to go for this product not because of the product but because of the customer care response and the dealer.

foul water coming from my pureit i have complaint many times but no response yet all times they make excuse no action taken on any complain and always tell by you for good service but your good service not get by your company?
are all your promises about pureit is false?

Pure-It — Purifier not working

I got the kit replaced around two weeks back but now the purifier has stopped working. Water is not chemical free. Please send someone to address the issue or take it back.
We bought pure it a year ago and have been suffering since then. Either the filter does not work or the water does not pass. Now the purifier has started leaking. We have to keep the purifier tilted so that it does not flood the kitchen. I really do not understand how such a reputed brand like HLL is tolerating such negligence. Instead of spending so much on fancy advertisements, they can spend some time and effort on customer service. I guess, new customers are all they want, old customers are not their look out. How disgraceful. For people planning to buy this product, PLEASE DO NOT BUY. It is just a waste of money. Instead, donate the money, it would earn you some graces.
I totally agree with all above statements because i experienced the same in change of battery.Unfortunately the battery which was replaced is of a poor in quality and it stopped working within 3 months afetr change of battery.How people stay unheard for such a comments on their firm or companyThey never care for their customers? A battery which is promised by company will work for atleast 6 months depending on the quantum of water usage.We are four members in the family(2+2) how it stopped working ?Only GOD knows this company quality.
I booke pur it GKK in pureit promise under reference no. RFS/2995112 on 15 jun 13. A confirmation SMS with promise to deliver the same with in 72 hours or free was sent to my mobile no. Despite reminding them again and again. No body has turned up till now. Even online complaint with HLL have proved futile. The service and responce is realy pathetic.
Dear Sirs,

I had ordered for change of battery for my Water Filter on 3rd May '14 and got it changed on 6th May. As a resident of Kumbakonam, Tanjore District, I had contacted your Chennai Office and spoke to - Customer Care centre, and got the required service of - changing the battery. I find PUREIT very reliable in Quality and after-sales service.
