[Resolved] Hindustan Lever Pureit — not meeting customer requirement on time | |
I am R Ravichandran from chennai. I have a pureit water filter at my home a product of Hindustan Lever. My customer id with the firm is 55514623. I had requested for a battery kit (Filtering unit) on 6 May 2008. I was promised to deliver the same in three working days. Since I was delivered the product on the date promised, I contacted the call center for @ 04 times and still have not found a result. This total shows how this organisation is disfunctioning, no discipline, not customer friendly, inspite of reminders no action taken. When they need the product to be sold they make promises which are never met by them. I am approaching the couurt of law / consumer court to file a complaint on this organisation for all the kind of tourture I have been facing. I am approaching the law to claim dammareges against the company. My family and me have been drinking water from various other sources though we have a special water filter of hindustan lever (pureit) I request all of them reading thrugh this mail to rise up to the occasion to support me against the company. No one is ready to attend the call.
VERY VERY POOR SERVICE.
WHY THEY DO NOT STOP SELLING THE UNIT, IF THEY CAN NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE.

It is a horrific story, on 18th Aug 2008 I purchased Pureit, sales people assured me of the best of services. Next day when I started using the product water started leaking from the chamber, our whole kitchen was a turned into a swimming pool. I bookeb a complaint with pureit helpline and they did not give me a complaint number saying they were facing a technical issue. 3 days have passed and I am still waiting for someone to turn up. Hopeless service!!!
HLL take a note otherwise you are bound to loose...making a stylish product doesn't suffice...it should have a good service as well...
My advise don't purchase the product at all...whatever someone might say...

HINDUSTAN LEVER - PUREIT — Not meeting requirement on time
I am Swarup Nath from Barrackpore, Kolkata.I have a pureit water filter at my home a product of Hindustan Lever.
My customer id with the firm is [protected]. I went to the outlet to get the battery kit and microfilter, but I was declined as because of no stock. After that I tried several times on telephone but failed as the customer care center was always busy. Later next day when I did get the customer care people they said that the price have been increased from Rs.330/- which was promised during the time I bought the filter to Rs.550/-. As I have no option other than to buy the fkit in higher price. I requested for a battery kit (Filtering unit) on 2 May 2008. I was promised to deliver the same in three working days. But today (8th may) one delivery boy called me up and asking me for the address which is written clearly but he cannot trace out. And finally it was not delivered.
During this time we have to drink water without purification and this is only because of mismanagement of Hindustan Lever to deliver the product and also they have failed to keep their promise. Without the battery kit the filter is just a container and of no use for storing water. If in this stage they cannot supply us the cartidge I worry about future.

I also agree that the Pureit is not providing proper service & the replacement battery they are providing is not lasting for even a month. I think they are suppplying the inferior quality of battery so that people will regularly change the battery. My contact no is 42663509. If this is the case I will go to the court for action

Even i am facing the same problem.I had repalced the battery in the month of April, 09 and within two months it got damaged.When i contacted their sales person, he took my complaint and since then he is absconding.I have only two members in my family excluding me.Out of them one is a 18 months old kid.

Even I am facing the same problem from the company. And this kind of thing I have to face once in every 3 months when my battery gets discharged. Very frustrating.
The story repeated in this June also. 17th I booked a battery kit. I waited till 23rd and called them again. So I got an assurance that it will surely be delivered by 24th. But did not happen., When I called again now, my booking number itself is missing there. Yesterday it was there. Today it is not there., What is the reason?
