[Resolved] Hindware, Wc — Faulty design- Faulty function | |||
This to be refered to the Customer Care , Hindware. I am routing this complaint through this forum because I am unable to get connected to them. We got a summer house constructed in Uttarakhand, district Nainital about four years back. Around that time Hindware had brought an exclusive range called ' Italian collection'. In the zest of having the best available in the market we selected three models-Taurus, Tulip and Studio. Out of these Taurus was a single bodied, top of the bracket model which was displayed in the glossy ads of the company. We paid very dearly for this model. Taurus started giving us trouble right from the beginning, first it was some part interconnecting the trap and the system, then the cistern and then the flush. When we selected this model it was not available in the showroom and it was procured on order. After we received it we realised that it had faulty design- the rim of the seat was so hard, narrow and uncomfortable! The hole was also positioned so oddly towards the center of the pot ! Later I got to know the this model was discontinued in the first year itself for the reasons best known to the company! We tried hard to get the after sale service through the showroom- Alankar Bath at Rudrapur, but nothing came through! We go to our cottage once in a year, four seasons have gone by but this WC is lying defunct in our Master bathroom as a show piece! I wonder why should Hindware import/market such systems from China which should tarnish their credibility in the market, and at the end make us feel cheated.
