[Resolved]  Home Loan — Overdue

Sir,
This is Eswaramoorthy Chenniappan, son of Late T.P.Chenniappan and Mrs. C.Jayalakshmi. I am building owner of Bank of Baroda perundurai branch. BOB perundurai branch Property is under name of C.Jayalakshmi (Mother) and myself (Eswaramoorthy Chenniappan). We have availed loan of Rs.10,00,000 on 2004 for renovation of property where BOB perundurai branch is located. We have requested to deduct EMI's from BOB lease rent account, which is under mother name (C.Jayalakshmi). During November 2007, we came to know that there are over due's so we paid Rs. 89,000 and requested to deduct EMI's on monthly basis without delay from rent account which has enogh fund to deduct EMI's. Eventhough we requested, during year May 2008 to May 2009 EMI's where not properly deducted. Luckly we ourselves observed the defect and paid required amounts of Rs.1,12,000. As staff's are not deducting EMI's properly, we requested branch manager to make EMI's as ECS from May 2009 onwards. Now we got overdue of Rs.22,000 and enquired with manager about it, manager analysed the report and it is found out that for late payment of EMI's during 2008 due to loan department mistakes we have recieved overdue.
I observed lot of customers were complaint for the same issue and branch manager is working on it. Luckly we got good manager for branch and atleast he is helping customers.
My concern is that if bank staff does mistakes then we are requested to pay extra amount. Please advise me on this issue.

For information:
Eventhough I am building owner of BOB Perundurai branch, I would like to intimate you that all customers in perundurai is not satisfied with branch response. Staffs are not treating customers well and lot of good customers are closing accounts. Please take necessary action to stop such irresponsibility of staffs against customers so that exising good customers will not leave the bank.

I agree that Bank staff is not treating customers well, lazzy in doing work and lot of good customers are closing accounts. Last week one of my cousin brother who has account in BOB Perundurai branch, deposited money in his account. As it was rush hour, staff requested to get transaction printed in passbook later time. So he left without getting transaction printed in passbook. After 3 days he has requested staff to print transaction in passbook, it is found out that money was not deposited in his account. When he complaint, it is found out that money is being deposited in another account. Not only this, lot of customers are facing other issues.

Eventhough BOB Perundurai branch is located at main place of the town, were every one can commuite easily and thereby a chance of getting new customers is high. If staffs keep on doing this then customers will prefer to move to other banks.

I strongly agree on the complaint. Now banks like SBI & others are doing good and treating customers well. Customers are very satisfied with others banks response. At present BOB has got manager such that he is looking bribe for everything. I heard that branch premises lease got completed and even he may look bribe from owner for extending lease. Also heard that owner is not willing to provide premises to extend the lease as they are not satisfied with bank. Hope if BOB loose such a good premises then they will loose customers as the place is located on main place of town were every one can easily commutte. Request to take action against branch to stop irresponsibility of Manager & staffs against customers so that exising good customers will not leave the bank.

I have seen few of customers who came to BOB for depositing money have been redirected to other banks. Hope branch staff is getting commission from other banks by redirecting customers. Also I do not want to tell other stories and comments in this.

Even I have requested for loan deductions Tax certificate with proper letter and haven't provided/recieved certicate. I have requested lot of time but of no use and faced lot of issues in doing transaction with BOB perundurai branch. All stupids and were placed in branch so no customer service from bank branch. I hate doing fture transactions with BOB anymore so closed my account in bank. Have transferred my loan account to some other bank. All staffs are thinking that they are god/dictator for bank customers so they are not treating or responding to customers. They need to think that if customers were not doing transactions in Bank then they will be sacked out as branch will be closed. Hope bank head office need to address this issues and to make changes in branch to maintain the good customers.

Dear Sir,
Common people were not given coins eventhough bank branch is getting from mints. We have observed that coins are distributed for commisssion basis for some of the business shops. Myself and other customers have requested coins lot of times but haven't received atleast once. Manager is one of the stupid person who never cares of customer and looking only money from commission. I never seen such kind of person in higher position in bank. Also I have heard from one of the customer that even he do not have good relation with building owner. We need to think even if he is not having good relation with owner then how normal customer will get it from him. If any higher people come and give forms to customers to fill complaint if any, lot of customers will provide complaint about manager. I humbly request higher management to visit branch without any intimation to branch staffs to see how bank staffs are working and treating customers.

Still BOB bank is not doing good!!! Customer is not satisfied and most of them are closing accounts in BOB Perundurai branch and moving to SBI Perundurai branch. For example Kongu vellalar school Perundurai had nearly 500 accounts in BOB and due to issues, all accounts have be closed and moved to some other bank. I heard that even BOB Perundurai branch building owner is not satified with banks response and requested bank to vacate the branch but no response from BOB. Even building owner is treated such away how come normal customer treated. Hope BOB branch will be closed very soon...

I humbly request government to privatize all public sector banks so that they can save public money inspite of giving money to bank staffs as monthly salary without doing any work.

For instance - BOB Perundurai branch staffs are not doing anything, coming by 9:45 AM having tea, biscut, Vada by 10:45 AM & 3:30 PM which is provided by bank on daily basis. For which bank is spending nearly INR 10, 000.00 per week.

There should be amendment of rule such that if staff get more complaints, they should be thrown out like corporate sector. If it happens then all staff will work properly and treat the customers well. Prove for Bank "Customers are only source were banks can earn profit". If no customers come to bank where will bank exists??? Even if bank is closed, bank staffs will not have any problem as they will be transferred to other place. They will repeat above things only.

I heard that BOB is opening another branch in Perundurai/Erode, if it opens 'N' number of new branchs which customer will prefer to open account in the bank! Its waste of public tax money better try to make bank work well with existing customer.
