[Resolved]  Honda 2 Wheelers — Violation of terms of delivery

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have booked a Honda Activa Grey Colour through Pilot 2 Wheelers, authorised dealer for honda vehicles at Mumbai.

The date of booking was 12.02.2009 vide receipt no. 54, the delivery time told to me at the time of booking was 45-60 days.

After a repeated follow-up procedure now I am told that earliest possible delivery is only after 20.04.2009 i.e more than 70 days which is a clear violation of said terms at the time of booking

It is actually such a pity that not only the dealer but also the company itself is simply disgusting.

Hope I get support and co-operation inthis regard from the forum

With due respect, i would like to draw your attention to the lack of response to the prospective honda customers. When I booked for Honda shine on 02-03-09 at M/s M.A.Honda in Trichy Tamilnadu, the persons on the dealer side adviced to go for a drum type model as disc one was high in demand and will take some 30 days. so uninterested i changed my option to drum for which they confirmed 15 days. But at present, i am yet to get a model and those people put it on the load schedule adopted. kindly help..

I agree to the issue. I am going through the same problem. I have booked black activa on 26th Feb 2009 and now they say that the earlier model of activa i.e. of 102 cc is now replaced by new 110 cc activa and there is no delivery schedule or new price available with dealer. Its already 35 days gone.

On detail enquiry I found that the bikes are sold on 2000 to 3000 extra preminum cost if you need delivery on the spot and for such cases bikes are always available.

It is disgusting for company like HONDA doing this.

I am purchase Honda Aviator Bick from 28-Aug-2008 from 5 Strar Honda, Veraval (Guj.), that time the honda dealer not issue free service book. he told we are reminder free service through phone, till date the dealer only one time free service, now i am sifted Veraval to Bharuch, I ask to veraval honda dealer pl. give me my service book, he is not give the free service book, and today he told me your bick service time is over, i am soking because of i purcase this bick use for my wife till dated only 2000 km run this bick, normay 2000 km after second service to bick but, your honda dealer M/s. 5 Star Honda issue all service free cupone at company account, but actual he is not provide free service, now today i want free service at bharch the bharuch dealer give Rs. 500 for Honda aviator bick service, as per compnay rule all compnay give one year 4 to five sevice free, now what can i do in this matter,

booked activa on 15th april 2009 . Initially, I was told 30 days waiting time which some how, I accepted, but recently a week before the distributor tod me additional 15 days waiting time that means I will have to wait till 30thMay 2009. I was told there are problems on account of dispatch. I wonder company of yor stature who call themselves, a leading compay in auto sector, can come up with these reasons.At the cost of 45500/- I am not comfortable with these reaosns. Please tell me why a customer shuld suffer, who have paid full price?
I urge all of you to take up this matter to the respective consumer court for the disservice and inconvenience to the customer

I’m really repenting for the decision I made to purchase Honda Shine.
I’ve purchased Honda Shine Motorcycle at Jsp Automotives, 5-7-32/1 Opp. Metro Kukatpally Hyderabad on 1-Jan-2009. Since then I’m facing “gear shifting” problem. I’ve categorically mentioned the same in my first free service (Coupon No 53264). It was not rectified. I’ve mentioned the same in my second free service too. It’s not rectified. Instead they sold me Teflon coating. On 11 May, while I was overtaking a city bus, I tried to change my gear unsuccessfully, which resulted a road accident. As I’m Hospitalized, couldn’t bring my motorcycle to your Jsp Automotives Service centre. Instead I’ve sent my assistant to get my damaged motorcycle repaired. He gave the bike to Jsp Automotives by again mentioning about the gear shifting problem. Jsp Automotives replaced couple of damaged parts, that too very unprofessionally. 1) Did not through foot rest. 2) Did not clear vibration in the front wheel. 3) Fixed a new visor, but deviating right side. 4) Finally gear shifting problem still exist.
I spoke to Mr. Ashok, Jsp Automotives, to hear a very irresponsible answer. My straight question is that is there anybody @ Honda2wheelers India, who can take the responsibility of such things ???? I demand to replace necessary parts to fix gear shifting problem. I shall wait for a positive & practical response within 15 days from now (till 20th June). Else I’m forced to expose this to media. Also I’m forced to file a suit on this.

On 1st June 09, I have fwd a envolope from KPHB-Hyderabad vide consignment no. H59910414 to Mr.Harikrishna at " 3-28-18/63, 5th Lane, Brindawan Gardens. GUNTUR .AP Ph:[protected].
On 9th June I received the cover Back saying Premises locked for 3 days.
This is an office premises and was open through out. Also, my cover gave a contact number and no one called to check. This has been confirmed by Mr.Harikrishna's office.

I suspect your person in Guntur did not attempt to deliver the cover at all.

I visited your KPHB office and did not receive a proper response. I called the KPHB Branch Manager Suresh no.[protected] and the movement he realised it is a complaint, he acted as line not clear and disconnected.
I called your DTDC GUNTUR office no.[protected] and naturally the person RAMANA did not give any reason. I asked for the Manager's no.and Ramana said "she does not know".
For the sake of the reputation of DTDC you should take action against such branches and their personnel.
Now I have been told to once again pay money to DTDC and resend the cover.
Can you pl look into this and revert.

sir, i went your showroom S.P.G honda civil lines bareilly(u.p). i found their is a nobody treats me well i asked your brand activa & want to see your scooter but their is no response to me one persons gave me one suggestion if i give 1000rs/- than after one month they will show my own scooter.but its not a satisfactory answer to my query.i felt they are not insturted to sell any scooter i & my brother want to buy two scooters same day.i asked your showroom MD MR.CHAUHAN but he was not their in sunday 14/6/09 at 7:00 am.its very bad impression for me at first time in your showroom.i am sure than their is nobody to sell your brand.like me i think many customer dropped many times to buy scooters from just your showroom as bareilly.

I booked a HONDA DIO on 19th Jun, 2009 and at the time of booking the dealer said it would take maximum 15 days, now, he is saying that it would take another two weeks if I want the desired colour which is more than 3 weeks of booking.Normally it should not be more than a week, and if you want the vehicle soon you will have to compromise for colour.Why should anyone make a compromise when he is paying a hefty amount for something.The dealers should not promise to provide the vehicle sooner than they can actually do.I think Scooty is a much better choice if you want quick possession of the two wheeler.

I am sorry to inform you that the Honda-Shine Motorcycle that I purchased on 6th Feb, 2009 has been constantly giving me troubles from the very first day. All complaints made to the authorised service centres and workshops have failed to rectify the problem in my vehicle. I am going through a phase of severe mental, physical and financial exploitation due to this problem the details of which are given below.

Problem History: The motorcycle started vibrating from the very first day.

― On 10th Feb, 2009, I contacted the workshop o[censored]niversal Honda, Lal Darwaja, Ahmedabad and complained about the problem. The motorcycle was taken for repairs (Job Card: 025911)but the problem remained unsolved. The Service Manager assured me that the problem would get solved by the time of First Service
― On 18th Feb, 2009, I left the motorcycle for First Service at Universal Honda and also mentioned the problem of vibration. Even after the First Service, the problem remained unsolved. (Job card : 42443)
― On 15th April, 2009, I again left my motorcycle for Second Service (Job Card: 050072). At that time I again complained about the problem to the Service Manager – Mr Mitesh. Mr Mitesh assured me that he would personally pay attention to the service but the bike was returned to me in the same condition – with vibration problem. Adding insult to injury, the mileage of my bike also got reduced. I was already going through an ordeal of mental torture. The reduced mileage put me in additional financial torture.
― On 27th May, 2009, I again placed my bike at Universal Honda emphasising my existing problem of vibration and newly awarded problem of reduced mileage.(Job Card: 055311). This time also the bike was returned with the same illness – the vibrations continued and mileage lowered.
― On 26th June, 2009, I again placed my bike for Third Service at another workshop –PUNJAB HONDA situated at 18, 19 Rivera 30 Arcade, Nr.Prahladnagar Garden, 100 Ft. Road Satellite, Ahmedabad. Again I reminded them of the existing complaints. They returned my bike on 27th June, 2009 without any change in existing problems. Here too the problem was not solved.
― Finally, I took my bike to Universal Honda and persisted on getting the problem solved. Here I got the final shock from the Service Manager that I will have to live with the problem. He pointed out that the bike has Optimax Engine due to which the vibrations will continue and the service department will not be able to solve the problem.
Sir, Why the workshop(s) tortured me for more than 5 months wrongly assuring me that the problem will be put right? Does your esteemed company induct new technologies to create more problems? Why the Sales Department didn’t mention this problem initially when they convinced me to buy this particular model?
I am completely disappointed with the performance of this bike. I have been undergoing mental, physical and financial exploitation since the day I brought this new bike.
I have brought this problem to your notice with the last hope of getting the problem rectified. Expecting a favourable action on your part,

I have booked a Honda UNICORN BLACK Colour through Savari Motors, authorised dealer for honda vehicles at Thamarassery, Calicut

The date of booking was 28.05.2009 vide receipt no. 213, the delivery time told to me at the time of booking was 60-70 days.

After a repeated follow-up procedure now I am told that earliest possible delivery is only after 30.08.2009 i.e more than 90 days which is a clear violation of said terms at the time of booking

I am a respectable Govt Employee in Kerala( Kerala Fire & Rescue Services ).

Being a Govt Employee, the Company and the Dealer cheated me

It is actually such a pity that not only the dealer but also the company itself is simply disgusting.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I serviced my bike on 24/08/09 at Druvdesh Honda, Gokul extension Bangalore, i found none of the problems were rectified even after paying extra charges for clutch clearence etc.
Again i took the bike on 27/08/09 and explained the same but service engineer SHYAM told me that get for the next service we will rectify the problems, but i didnt agreed and i told him to service right now, after 1 hour he brought the bike back and told me its ready, but its the same.

Its really pathetic...

The quotations of the Honda products are different dealer to dealer. Just I want to know one thing that is what are the basic accessories are provided bye the Honda Company and what was the cost of that basic accessories. What is the cost of the remaining accessories of the Honda active? Please give me the list of price all accessories of Honda active…. Local dealers diverting and they are cashing innocent of all customers of the Honda Company. So please give me the reply as soon as possible
