[Resolved]  Honda Unicorn — Worst service ever experienced

I am Manoj Chandran from Kerala Kollam. I purchased NEw unicorn kl2 ab 7367 from Vahini Honda KOllam.its is disappointing for me to state that the level of honda post delivery services is really unsatisfactory.i bought a honda unicorn from Vahini Honda few months back honda dealer has
completely failed to satisfy issues with my bike.

My complaint is on the first week itself i felt Tic Tic sound from front handle. I told them during first service and they convinced me that the issue is not a major one it will be settled on tyour frist Service. They told tightened its fork. Tic Tic sound had gone and new problem raised. Bike will zigzag on even straight roads. Handle is not steady. It will went to left and right. we r unable to ride it safely in city trafics. I again told the same complaint on second service and third service. Nothing specially happened. Exept the will over tight or Loose. I repeated my complaint on fourth service also. Nothing specially happened. Really fed up with the kind of service provided By Vahini Honda. Please think of your customer's Time, Money and Safety..
From last week onwards it moving towards LHS and RHS automatically and some times I am afraid that the bike will go hit to the side veh, This was beyond by tolerable level. so I took the bike today i contacted Mr Sunil (Service adviser). he promised to solve the issue. In a nutshell he agreed that there was some minor probs with Cone set and ball (We assume it as a major problem) . he replaced it. he asked me to Pay Rs 800. for the same.( that means they have charged for the Coneset). He argue that Cone set is not covered under warranty. I have read warranty statement . you didn’t mentioned ths particular part (Coneset) is out of warranty. I am not a fool to admit his excuses and pay for company manufacturing defect
i reported the complaint on second service itself. I assume this is manufacturing defect. am ready to pay rs 800 if it is usual repair due to normal wear and tear. Kindly note that my bike clocked 6000 kms only.
It is very shame to here from my friends and many customers The Dealer is not good in delivering service. The Mouth word of customer goes not to dealer and to The MANUFACTURER only. HMISL please see today walk in customers may not be tomorrow. Put a additional Dealer or revamp the existing dealer . They always look reluctant to support there customer. they re trying to postponed the complaints and wating for the warranty expiry . they keep postponding the matter to the frustrating level and its the last option left for me to mail to here.i sincerely seek your co-operation in this matter an d any kind of help from your side with highly be regarded.

Honda Unicorn — poor post delivery customer service

its is disappointing for me to state that the level of honda post delivery services is really unsatisfactory.i bought a honda unicorn from rewa(m.p) last month and its tachometer is not functioning and honda dealer has completely failed to entertain us in this matter.adding to that they have also delayed the insurance and registration documents delivery.they always look reluctant to support there customer and there behaviour is also not upto the mark. they keep postponding the matter to the frustrating level and its the last option left for me to mail to here.i sincerely seek your co-operation in this matter and any kind of help from your side with highly be regarded.

Honda - Unicorn — Very Bad & worst Service

Poor Service Of Bikes...charging more
I gave my Bike ( Honda-Unicorn) at Fortune Honda, Ranigunj, Secunderabad for 5th Service.
This time i didn't put more complaints even though I am facing some, as per my previous experience, they simply write what ever we say but they never rectify those issues this is my previous experience. They simply ignore all our complaints and do only the regular service that too with poor quality. Instead of rectifying the complaints they will add some more issues to the bike. As I said this is my 5th service, they made to visit them 3 times to rectify the post service complaints, to do this we have to spend our valuable time and for this we have take permission from the office.

They collected Rs.258 for FREE Service.

What I feel is they will do simply a water service that is also in a very careless manner, if we spend Rs.20 to 30 out side they will give us the wonderful water service.

Cleaning Process is extremely slow & poor result...no control over workers

I have purchased one Honda Unicorn vehicle from the dealer M/s Hassan Honda, Pondicherry on January, 2007. From the beginning, I have given so many complaints to the dealer that Unicorn is not working properly due to engine problem. Even First service, I have mentioned that the engine gave more smoke with oil smell and noisy sound. Then, at every time I approached the dealer for repair, I requested them to look the engine problem and rectify the same. But, they have not responded and informed orally that we will see the engine till the vehicle run atleast 7500 km. Now, Unicorn crossed 21, 500 km. Still, the dealer has not cleared my doubt and rectify the engine problem.

As and when I approached for any repair, they orally informed that the spares to be replaced. Still my vehicle is not working properly even though I changed the spare parts as per the advice of the dealer. Hence, I am not satisfied the service of the dealer.

In this connection, I request you to kindly look into the matter immediately and instruct the dealer M/s Hassan Honda, Pondicherry to replace my vehicle, as I am not in a position to bear more cost for repair charges.

i want to buy honda unicorn bike.. but the honda showroom says that it has take more than 2 month waiting...
I too very humbly request HMSI to start a good service station here in kollam, kerala with expert hands.
VAHINI MOTORS, kollam is the worst service station in kollam with the worst service personnels in the world. My request is not only for the customers but also for the sake of HMSI . I promise that if HMSI is not willing to give a new dealership here in kollam then no people here in kollam will be willing to purchase any products of your company due to the bad name of your dealer. So think twice before going to VAHINI MOTORS. Customers approach VAHINI MOTORS only because they have no other choice of purchasing a HONDA product.

Honda Unicorn — worst dealer service

Hi I have paid lot of money to service my unicorn at EVM Honda, Vytilla, cochin. They happen to be least interesed in giving a thorough checkup in and out to recitfy the reported problem. The customer support manager Mr. Abilash and Service Manager Mr. Sudheesh Mohan are two capable men but at the wrong place. I myself had been adviced to stay away from them owing to pestering them repeatedly with complaints.

not vahini motors even john honda at puzhakal(thrissur) are same in case of service matters; the company is intrested in selling units but not able to satisfactorily delvier the post sales service
I have a honda cb unicorn (2012 end model). During the first two months itself i start feeling some issues wid the bike like frequently loosening of chain, some sounds while making turn and above all while braking i used to feel some jerk and sudden braking action, whirling of bike while applying sudden brakes. I contracted the service centre (CBC Honda, Pattom, Trivandrum). The service technician repeatedly told me that this is not a major issue and will be rectified wid time by its own.

Although i used to get the chain tightened frequently from local repairs. Now all my free services are over after 1 year. Now this time when i went for bike servicing i was told that the ball and cone part is gone and needs to be repair and otherwise this can cost whirling while applying brakes and even he told that the disc plate is having a small bend and disc brake set needs to be replaced.
i am shocked since till date wen i was telling all dis things no one paid attention and now they are saying my words.

I don't know what to do.
Is this the way to deal with the customer.
Kindly help as this problem persists in the initial conditions itself are not due to aging. I am feeling like getting cheated. Kindly help me in this so that i can also proudly recommend the same to others.

I had exactly the same issues with my cb unicorn 150cc bought on 2014 december . Also i had same experience from the service centre PEE YEM HONDA Payyanur, Kannur. I had approached them with the same complaints after the 1st service onwards and they said that they couldn't find any problem and its just my assumption. then they 'over tight or Loose' the cone set. Now the free service is also over.

Also they had charged 'serivce charge' of 100 rupees for changing some damaged bush(from handle) along with the cost of bush during 1st service ( the bike ran less 400 km only). and they said it is not covered in the free 'serivce'.

I also agree that honda's service is the worst.
