[Resolved] Housefull Furniture — improper service given by co | |||
I have purchased lex dining set SKU[protected] on 30th Nov, 2012 order no. 12821 delivered to me on 7th Dec, 2012 HDC No.[protected]. After getting delivery and installation of the above dining set, around end of feb, we observed that the legs of the dining table were moving and the alignment of the glass top had changed. So we filed a complaint by phone at your customer support on 4/3/2013 vide complaint no. 338CC/0313/778 that the legs of the dining table were moving. The lady who has taken down the complaint told me that within 7-8 days, a person will visit your house. After constant follow up nobody visited or gave me a phone call after making the said complaint. one person visited the house in the afternoon after 15 days without prior notice in advance and he inspected the table and told my old mother that as the top glass was not properly attached to the table, the legs were moving/shaking and further told that on the same day one person from hypercity housefull will come in the evening to stick the glass and the table will be okay. Then till 27th March, no body visited my house and on 27/3/2013, while we were having dinner, the table suddenly collapsed and the lower glass shattered and the legs of the dining table got bent out of shape. Till today i.e. 12/4/2013, I have made several complaints and mails, but there is no reply from co. when I called in co, today ms. radha from complaint department told me that we never guarantee you for the glass, you will have to purchase another lower glass of table without which we cannot assemble the table. my grievance is that when I noticed that the legs were moving and alignments of top glass had changed I immediately intimated the co and I made several complaints on phone and also by mail. and now as within 2 months I lost the table, I may be replaced with new one.
