[Resolved]  Hp — HIGHLY IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR BY HP SERVICE CENTER

I bought an HP Pavilion tx1218au Notebook PC on the first week of November 2007 from Mega Computers, Noida, India and started facing problems soon enough.

It occasionally used to hang in the initial days. Later, it started hanging and getting re-started on its own a midst of my work.
The problem kept on aggravating until one day when it finally crashed. I ran the recovery cd that I got with the package but in vain. I realized it was some hardware problem and gave it to the official HP repair center in Noida. i.e. Elite Business Machine Pvt. Ltd., D-43, 1st floor, Sector - 2, Noida. (Phone no.[protected]. They diagnosed it and told me that it had a faulty mother board and that they are replacing it.
A week later I got my laptop back from the service center. But within the first week of recovery, all the problems re-occurred and that too severely.
1. The very second day, its touch-pad stopped working.
2. Next day, it started producing frequent hangs and system restarts.
3. Finally it crashed.
4. I ran the recovery disk again, but the system crashed again.

I again went to the same service station and elucidated the problem.

Their engineer Mr. Amit Sharma and Ms. Shehnaaz, after 3 weeks of diagnosis, replaced the mother board again. When I asked them to explain me the problem, they simply refused!! However Mr. Sharma assured me that I won't face the problem again. But the very next morning, my laptop crashed again. I again had a talk with Mr. Sharma and Ms. Shehnaaz but they are not even aware of the issue. They don't exactly know about the problem. They want me to carry my laptop again to them.

I'm highly dissatisfied with the product and the service center quality. My business work has taken a serious blow because of the in-efficient machine. Past two months brought completely traumatizing experiences for me only because of HP.

I would request you to replace it with a new laptop so that I can start enjoying my work without any crash. I believe that HP will take the issue on priority and will provide me the satisfying solution.

I bought a laptop Pavillon dv6 in 2008 P/N FE765UA#ABA. After two years, it started having problems with the screen turning off and on for several minutes and then started working. I took the laptop to Best Buy (the place where i bought it) they told me that it would be better to send my laptop to the HP repair center ( no way after reading what is posted here; no way) and that it does not have warranty anymore. The repair itself would cost almost $500.00!! I do not have money for that. this amount was given to me by a HP's repair center employee their phone number[protected].

It is really a shame that we have to go through this; I put my confidence on this brand, spent more that $2, 000.00 for nothing. I have another laptop; this one is DELL and it is older than the pavillon dv6 and it is working perfectly!

I'm really frustrated; i hope somebody would be able to help me.

I got a HP Dv 6767TX laptop. Its not working at all. It has the Nvidia 8400GS graphics card.I went to the service center they told that they cannot repair it. So was it my fault to buy HP. They customer care people are also adamant they tell that they do not know anything. I checked in the net that similar problems are there for all laptops having the same graphics card due to over heating,. I want to have my laptop repaired. many people have the same problem What shall i do.

HP — warranty coverage not given even though the mishandling done by the service provider.

respected sir,
i bought a laptop hp pavilion dm4 in dec last. which developed lines on the screen on 29th march 2011.for which it was taken to the near by centre of hp.while examining for fault in front of me and a person accompaning me the made a hard inspection of the lcd.after which the lcd of the laptop showed black and white changes of which photographs were taken and send for technical team as product is under warranty.after my insisting for it they allowed me to write the same on the bill provided to me for the same.later a complain was lodged by me to there national call center of hp.after which they asked me to talk to the engineer in charge of the service center.she being a female i had a quite conversation with her with due ragards she informed that damage was on my part.later the manager of the service station mr anil cooperated me to know that those photographs would be sent to banglore office for decision.here i bring to your notice the difference as decision was already taken then also i waited for a day for the response.the next day they calld me to inform that the damage is on my part and would not be covered under warranty.to clarify this i called on the call center of hp to know the status.they informed me that the photographs were yet not updated.i still have the complain no of the same.on contacting back they asked me for my email.they sent me a mail which is quiet a threatening in language.after which on a phone call we had a discussion on the same topic on which i asked him if i can go to consumer forum.i was replied they would do nothing for the same.then i was asked if i am interested in getting back my laptop that too in threatening language.i worried would i be getting back my laptop.and that too under warranty cover.well i am also afraid well should i go to there service station or not.sir i am a well educated person ,sir if these people are doing this to me then what would they do with a unaware person.

Hewlett Packard — Parts glued in

I purchased an HP laptop from Best Buy in July 2009. I started having problems charging the battery in September 2010, which gradually grew worse. In April 2011 I finally took the laptop in to have the DC jack replaced. I was told that the original DC jack had been glued to the laptop case and couldn't be removed without destroying the case. After spending an hour on the phone with HP technical support, I am of the opinion that HP doesn't care about a product out of warranty - they only want to sell HP products or extended warranties, which would not have corrected the problem.
my laptop model also hp550... my laptop screen is problem.. warranty year nov 2011... but i checked my warranty in online showing nov 2009... our college friends told me[protected] years warranty.. i calling to hp call center...told me we r update that service warranty in online... still now not updated... customer service is very very worst...

HP — free gift not delivered in spite of several commitments

I had purchased a HP laptop and deposited all required documents with speed post and mail at the concerned address in Feburary'2011. I even received confirmation mail saying my redemption of gift have been processed and shall be delivered with 3/4 weeks in March but till date the same has not been recieved. Going by the complaints on the site I believe that I have been duped and the company policy in india is only to cheat people by making tall promises to affect sales and are not concerned to Indian Consumer. My redemption code provided by HP for free gifts is 2551665. product serial no. is CNF0497BSJ.

I am even unable to post this complaint on their website or facebook page
i had purchased a laptop and there is consistently audio problem inthe laptop...the service provider is also not looking into the problem n i m suffering a lot and only 1 thing came from my mouth
HP IS A BAD COMAPANY .NOONE SHOULD PURCHASE LAPTOP FROM IT...AND EVERYBODY SHOULD LOOK FORWARD FOR DELL ITS SERVICE IS GUD...

HP — Replaced Wrong Keypad for HP Pavilion dv6-3150us

I raised complaint ([protected])on 9th May011 , informed that I have the replaced with wrong key pad.
Service Executive attended me on 20th May & came with the same key pad . ,again i raised the complaint with case id : [protected] to replace with the right key pad.

Now case is closed by saying that I don't have global warranty .

I had seened the worst support from HP . as a customer , i can purchase the Laptop any where expecting the customer support any where in world. why support differs & warranty comes into picture ??

I Expect the right part will be replaced , atleast this time.
