[Resolved]  HP Customer Care — theft by hp customer care centre and wrong part replacement.

I have hp 2122tu notebook pc which has a light scribe dvd dual layer writer(model DS-8AZH 03C) and 512 mb Samsung ram by default.( which I have upgraded to 1.5 gb by adding 1 gb transient ram)
Recently I gave my laptop for dvd rom replacement at Precision informatics pvt ltd. Mumbai division.
The mechanics or workers( ya that’s true because they don’t deserve to be called as engineer)
Ppl replaced my rom at 6500/- and give a rom which was a + dvd writer without light scribe. I recognized this and argued for replacement and original writer as per specification of 2122tu notebook. So after lot of negotiation he replaced that rom with some +- supporting mitashi ram (without light scribe that found out latter). by thinking that least I can read and write disk so I give extra 500/- and took off laptop. After coming home I installed vista and then I found out that it was showing my ram as 512 mb only. And so opened notebook ram panel, and I was shocked as there was just one module of ram and that too of hynix which I never bought for my laptop.
So it’s clear that ‘Precision informatics pvt ltd. Mumbai division’ has stolen my original ram and replaced it with hynics 512 ram.

Dear I have purchased a HP Office jet Pro K550 color printer from Ms Madhav Computer ( An authorized dealer of hp), campa Cola Chowk, Ludhiana in the month of March, 2007. I faced a technical problem with the printer during Sept. 2007 and was reported to your dealer as well to your customer care centre and same was rectified with problem in the Head of the printer. After few months again the printer stopped giving prints and after that it in same position. Repeatedly I complain to the Dealer as well to your customer care but they are not responding me at all. Now I have left with only the option that I should complaint to the Vice chancellor regarding the behavior of hp dealer as well customer care and suggest not to purchase any product of hp in future. It is my request you to please look into the matter immediately as I have already suffered a lot.

I Have got my lapie serviced in HP mumbai service station in oct. 2007 during my training period... At that time i was having problem with my speaker.. they hav changed.. but keyboard wasnt working properly.. when i came back to baroda i noticed about keyboard.. i complaint about it nearest hp service station.. they took 750 as diagnostic fees and 900 advance... they kept my laptop for more than a month.. and then they said that they are not getting the part.. in same condition they returned it back without service... in july 2008, i gave it in Ashtech infotech pvt ltd., ahmedabad. they took 1200 as diagnostic fees n 3500 as keyboard price.. but still after more than three months.. they are telling that parts are not availabale..
I dont know such a big company like this hav such bad service. Due to which i buyed new lenovo lapie which is working without any problem..
WHY USE HP ?
Ethernat controller is not detecting for WAN. So required driver to install for WAN. Model is Compaq Presario C700.
I bought "HP pavilion slimline s3360 in desktop pc gx748aa" model computer in near about april-2008.So now change the OS Vista to XP.And wireless keyboard is also working not properly.So please change the OS and solve the problem early as possible.

i am jagriti kumari studying nist berhampur, orissa.2 years before i have given my laptop in patna hp servicing center due to some common problem.but suddenly 20 days before my laptop not starting just show disk problem.i have given my laptop berhampur hp solution center, about 10 days before and they are just telling my hard disk no. not matched.i had never given my laptop except hp solution center they are just telling me the cost of hardisk about 10 thousand and they will replace my harddisk only after paying money.any one can tell me what can i do i am engineering student, laptop is most essential for me.i want to say how corrupted person may be in hp solution center, 10 thousand is big amount for any one...please help me if any can do.

i am also one of the hp service centre sufferer. they chanded the motherboard but the problem is still there i.e. of display and created new problem of webcam, before servicing my cam was working properly but after servicing it is not working and they want me to extend our warranty period for 2 year.

i really regret on services provided to me by one of the hp laptop dealer, 7 months before i bought a laptop from recognised dealer Name: om sai corporation located in borivali on western express highway, just month before my laptop has some battery problem, the battery of laptop was not charging problem, so went to the dealer and spoke to him. initially he said ok your problem can be solved and told me that as battery has warrenty of 8 months so it can be done and told me to handover laptop. he called me after 4 days back and started tellling me that no sir the battery does'nt come under warrenty. and bill says that it has warrenty of a year

i gave the laptop hp pavilion dv2700 on 29th october. i gave for cam problem. they tell that to change the display. we have ordered, wait it will come. the courier was not received. the same reply was told by them for past 4 weeks. the service cenrtre in trichy-tamilnadu.

Problem - i was playing a game and suddenly i got a error message that "Display drivers stopped working", and the screen went white, then i restarted it when the windows started a message poped up " Your display drivers have been recovered successfully ", then i started to play the game again after playing for 5 mins the same error came and the screen went white, so i restarted it again but this time when i started it, it worked for 1 mins and da screen went White, so i turned off the pc and started it after 2 hours, but it didnt start it gave me white screen every time i on the laptop,

After this incident i was searching the web about this problem <Source - http://www.techreport.com/discussions.x/15219 > and i found that HP has extended the warranty of 24 notebook series which also has my model,

I gave the laptop to a local Hp agent in Srilanka and he said that my laptop NV chip need to be changed and they wont accept the warranty so they demanding us to pay the money for the repair .i brought this laptop on May 2007, this problem occurred on August 2008, Now i am living in Srilanka so it would be great if you tell me where i can renew my warranty and get it repaired in Srilanka, or do i have to bring it to Singapore for the repair and for the renewal of the warranty.

HP customer care is very bad. Being a leader in the indian market, it is not expected from them. I have compaq laptop which i bought two years ago. During warranty i had problem many times. Service centre people doesn't know even how to behave to a customer. I recently extended the warranty two months ago by paying in cash. At that time, i told about my unhappiness with HP services, but the lady told this time around they will not give any chance to complain. But as soon as i paid in cash, they forgot even to release warranty certificate. I have called many times but to no effect. Two months have passed since i paid the warranty amount, but i haven't got the warranty certificate. Can someone help?
