Sir/ Madam,
My wife, Smt. Subhita Gupta, 193-194, Ajit Nagar, Ambala Cantt.- 133 001, Phone:[protected], has a gas connection vide Consumer Number 501793 with M/s Swatantra Gas Service, 5356/1, Aggarwal Building, Punjabi Mohalla, Ambala Cantt. – 133 001, Dealer Code: 19660700. She asked for a refill on April 4, 2008 but was curtly refused under the pretext that she had already been supplied the same on March 29, 2008 which she actually had never got as she had never asked for it after 11.2.2008 and before 4.4.2008. This has been a practice with the dealer. I hereunder give the details of the modus operandi being followed by the dealer for the last many years.
Sr. No. Refill Gap days in supply Remarks
booked on received on
1. 24.4.2004 25.4.2004 1 Our requirement gap being a big one the dealer is developing the mischievous habit – records need to be examined.
2. 25.10.2004 26.10.2004 1
3. 12.1.2005 21.1.2005 9
4. 25.7.2005 27.7.2005 2
5. 13.2.2006 4.3.2006 19
6. 26.9.2006 28.9.2006 2
7. 9.2.2007 26.2.2007 17
8. 28.7.2007 11.8.2007 14
9. 25.1.2008 11.2.2008 16
10. 4.4.2008 ----- ----- Refused to entertain on the pretext that supply had already been made on 29.3.2008.
It seems that the dealer has been misusing the gap period between our requirements. A similar episode had occurred on booking for July 28, 2007. At that time my wife had to give the dealer a bit of her mind after which he supplied the refill from another number as he had already sold her refill to someone else. The records may be scrutinized to ascertain the misuse of my wife’s consumer number.
It is requested that this malpractice be investigated, the dealer be set right and the refill be supplied to my wife immediately and also as and when she asks for it in the future.
Expecting expeditious action,
Truly yours,
P.K. Aggarwal
