[Resolved] HSBC Bank Credit Card — Non Cooperative and rude call center staff | |
Hi , My father held an HSBC credit Card . He passed away on 25th of Nov '09 . he had dues of some 11000 odd INR . Not being too sure about the amount i paid 11k online . I had also explained the situation to the call center guy who had made a call to make the payment . Once i recieved the next statement , i came to know that some 6-7 hundred INR was still left , These guys had put late paymentcahrge and service and finance charges and the amount of some 17 - 18 hundred INR . I called uo the call center of HSBC thrice .Twice they hung up on me . Even after expalining the situation those guys came up with questions how can you forget the amount that had to be paid , not understanding that it was just few days that i had lost my father and still i had made the payments . I dont think that i am liable to make any payments .Still i went ahead and made the payments . All they would do is black mark his name in CIBIL . anyways he would not be taking any loans or credit cards . But i am amazed that even after being an MNC they operate like this .. It would be better to interact with a local bank . Atleast this kind of behavior is expected from them and hence it would not be a shock. Regards, Sheenam Was this information helpful? | |
