[Resolved]  Icfai - Crim / M. S. Insurance Course — FRAUDULENT PRACTICES/MISREPRESENTATION /PLAYING WITH STUDENTS' FUTURE

Address:Andhra Pradesh

I am MADUGULA KRISHNA RAO , now aged 58 years. Ten years ago, after taking VRS from a Bank I fell into their trap and tookup their CRIM course after they promised American Insurance Institute certification and their membership for which they charged dollar fees also. I paid all amounts in time and completed the course within 5 year stipulated time. They have later defaulted in providing whatever they promised as above, remained silent on that and have given their own certificate from ICFAI DehraDun . My 5 year effort and costs have gone into waste. I went to consumer court but that is a different and undesirable thing and it is very difficult to be compensated properly. I could not get the amount spent on the case Anyway I am determined to move the issue upwards and to UGC. They are giving mark sheets on ICFAI university Head Print but in reply to my case they are arguing ICFAI is not a university. They will say something to trap the gullible students and later play denying tricks / resort to unethical , bad practices to escape liability.
It is hightime this organisation should be banned by the authorities. ICFAI at Vizag has now changed the board to IFEN. Only dishonest people play such tricks while good institutes gain from reputation of their brand old names and do not change names.
If I had taken up CA course then I would have become a chartered accountant long back getting good income and status. By opting ICFAI instead of CA course in 2001 when I had taken up both courses simultaneously but continued the former delaying the CA now I am repenting a lifetime blunder
It is a pity in India that the students should first study all legal aspects and the future risk before taking up any course for study because the situation is now so bad due to ICFAI like bodies. BEWARE of these Dangerous Business Enterprises in the veil of No profit societies for the cause of education. It is a snare / trap
