[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Credit Card — Fraud by ICICI bank

I would like to bring to your attention following facts about the unethical and illegal practice of ICICI Credit card division and bank and cheating being done.

A Credit card No - was issued to me on November 2002 which got expired on November 2004 . First The bank charged [debited ] annual fees from my savings bank account towards the annual charges while It was issued a life time free of cost basis and Later this was amount credited to my card account which is still unused and unnecessarily blocked for no fault of mine.

On August 2007 I was shocked to receive a SMS alert informing that Some transaction has been conducted through the card issued to me .Since I had not used this card at all therefore I immediately informed the customer care to block the card and transactions through this card.

I was assured through a telephone call from your customer care division that needful will be done and card has been blocked.

After that my credit card statement issued to me for the period August- September 07 reflected an amount of Rs.17958/ only to be paid to the bank for the transactions supposedly conducted by me . I informed the customer care that these transactions have not been done by me at all and I had already informed customer care about it.

Subsequently a fresh statement reversing the amount of Rs. 17958/ was issued pending enquiry into the matter.

After some time bank issued statement reflecting the amount again which I had not spent through my card.

I had sent many letters and emails to charge back department [ as advised by customer care ]to explain how transactions have been conducted and authorised by the credit card division but no reply on the matter has been sent to me till date about it.

Subsequently I met one of your employee from credit card collection Mr Ankit Goel ( Rohini Delhi Branch )to resolve the issue but he neither resolved nor revert on the case despite of my rigorous follow-up.

Now from January 2008 onward Your recovery agent start to calling me and abusing me for delay payments and on 1 st March 2008 I received an SMS that ICICI bank has transfered an amount of Rs. 20,760.00 from my Saving Bank accountno .This has been done without any information, discussion or knowledge .

it is noted at CIBIL report that i have some over dues to be sttled at ICICI Credit card and i have been receiving many calls from icci authentic persons in this regard and threatening to go ahead with court of law. In fact i never possessed any icici credit card and once i got an information that i've been allotted a credit card facility by ICICI bank but not received so far.

I'm ICICI bank account holder and have been transacting a good volume of business, even though no informations were forwarded.

Therefore i request you take necessary steps to rectify the account and withdraw your statement from Cibil.com, otherwise i will have no other option than informing our council to take necessary legal steps

With reference to above, I have to state that I was given an offer on my credit card no [protected] stating that this is an annual day offer and I was chosen randomly alongwith some other credit card holders for this offer. According to the offer, I have to buy three policies of ICICI Lombard for me and my parents with premium of Rs 15000/- each for one year and amount of premium was to be deducted from my credit limit for which lien was to be noted there. In lieu of buying these policies for me and my parents, ICICI bank have to increase my credit limit from present 60000 to 200000. in the month of february 2009, bank have to arrange for surrender of these policies if I wish to do so.on surrender of these policies, bank have to charge Rs. 500/- per policy as penalty and have to issue gift cheques of Rs 30000/- each and Rs 5000/- bonus for all the three policies thus totalling Rs. 90000/- plus Rs. 15000/- bonus on surrender of these policies in the month of feb 2009. All these communication was done by Mr. Raj Pradeep of ICICI Bank Credit Card Division, Chennai on my mobile no [protected] on 18 Oct 2008. As the offer was very attractive and employee was calling from ICICI bank, I accepted the offer after which the call was directed to ICICI Lombard for their telephonic agreement calls. I have agreed to buy three policies on telephone and got the same on my email address immediately. This was communicated to me by Mr. Raj Pradeep from telephone number [protected]. Mr. Raj Pradeep and Mr. Suresh of Chennai Office of ICICI Credit Card Division have assured me that I’ll get the offer letter within 45 days of this agreement. But till date I have not received anything from them. On contacting them on this above phone number, it was told that the credit card division has been shifted from this building to another buliding and consequently telephone numbers were also changed . When I have contacted on other tel no. [protected] and 83433, the answer was not satisfactory which raised suspicion about the offer in my mind.
Now I humbly request your good officer to apprise me the factual position regarding the offer and advice me suitable remedy for the same if no such offer existed at all. It is requested that all future correspeondence be made to the followig address.

Inveiw of the above it is the sole responsibilty of the bank, incase of miuse of document by them.

my card was expired in Jan 09. before sending fresh card, yr people enquired about my present address. i have explained very clearly about my change of address. so far i didn't get renewal card. meanwhile u have stopped my visa bill pay instruction, for which reason i became irregular in paying monthly bill to tata indicom. ur people became very negligent and not complying customers' instructions properly. u verify my previous track record. u would know about my relationship with u for the last two years. why u have not delivered fresh credit card. let me know the reasons for the lapses in customer service.

myself pramod kr--credit c. no--[protected]---mob.---[protected] date of birth[protected].i have sent so many mails but of no use. ref. to statement of 09 mar. 2009. purchase of 7978.84 rs mentioned.
no details of purchase/ place/ date mentioned. many times disussed the problems with executives of credit card but of no use. in fact ihave not done such purchasing. false statement has pained a lot. finding no solution i have been forced to seek legal action.

Credit Card — fraud statement

This credit card statement which you are sending to me, is incorrect as i have not received this credit card untill yet .
and also from this card i have not drawn any money from ATM, not any kind of purchising and not any cash transfer from this credit card. as i have also complained .this problem to customer care many times.
If i had done any kind of above mentioned thing so kindly, send me the details i will we be very thankfull to you.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Harassment by recovery agent

I have some oevrdue with Icici banck credit card and have been asking the banks collection deptt / system to come to me with proper documenst and record and sit across for final settlement.

But theire rcovery agents have been hounding me regularly and today in my absence went to my house and misbehaved with my wife.

I had told them yestrday, clearly tht i am going out of station and wud be back only by 12th. Purposely they agne name Mahesh - cell number[protected], has goen there and misbehaved. One fone also he has threatened me today

I request strong and severe action be taken against this felow and the icicibank for this type of behaviour

As we have done settlement against my Credit Card payment Card No. [protected], your Ref No. ICICIDEL/VM/08-09/01037/03/U/S Dated 02/01/2008, and I have given my PDC Chaque Rs. 8000.00 (Eight Thousand)Chaque No.546650 Dated 4/3/2008 against that. Unfortunately one of the cheque against that has return from my bank due to some reason.



Against that return Chaque I have deposited Rs. 4000.00, cash to your officer.

Sir, again your bank has raised due amount against that remaining amount… I have discussed the thing to Manager Credit Depptt…. Now I am deposit the remaining amount Rs. 2500.00 and Duse only 4000.00 (Foure Thousand).Sir, my intension is very clear to pay my duse on credit card. so Kindly approved this settlment because I am not ready to pay any other Charges and any other duse after this request. Irequest you to approve my Settlement request because of my bad circumstances.

I am Virender Kr Ahuja, my card number is [protected], not agree with the transaction on 9th march, i authrised 85$us on 9th march, 09, on that date dollar value was 49.3 INR, so amount is 4190.5 Rs, As per the statement from the customer care of ICICI, 3.5% will be charged as a conversion rate, its almost 150 Rs, so the total amount should be 4340 Rs, But In my statement the amount charged 4600 RS, So please adjust the accordingly, and do the needful.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — de active to bill pay service

Sir,

I am using ICICI bank Credit card for last three years,

but i am facing lot of problem for few month's.

Last month they are activate my bill pay service with out my request. through that they pay my march month bill, which was i pay already.

when i get SMS from icici, immediate(08.04.09) i contact customer care, and ask for bill pay service.
they replaied me, we are not actived anythink like that, you leave that SMS.

but when i get a next statment, there was the entry, for your airtel bill Rs.. so and so,

and for this service extra they charge me more then Rs 150.


If the amount will not be credited before end of this month, I have no other alternative but I will file a Suit through CONSUMER COURT.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — late fee and interes charges

dear sir,
i have recd my credit card statement dt.16th april, 09 in which i have been charged for late payment and interest charges.
this is to request you that we had dropped the cheque on time .pls check at you end .As the due date of above said bill is on 3rd May, 09.i m paying the bal amt of Rs. 10576 after deducting these charges.

ICICI Bank Credit Card — Not Receiving the Credit card bills

I have updated my new residential address by informing the customer care executives atleast 3 times, but yet I have not received my Credit card bills from last 4 months on my new as well as on old address.
Seriously it is pathetic,

I hope in india only icici customer service people were very rude .

I hope RBI intervention is needed
