[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Credit Cards — Additional Hidden Charges

I had spent Rs. 30,000.00 (Thirty Thousand Only) on Jewel Purchase in "M/s. Susheel Jewellery, Hosur". I could not pay the amount on the due date as i was out to my native and there was a delay in payment made. Payment was made via Online through my ICICI a/c. The people who made a chase for payment said that, i only need to pay Rs. 30,000.00 and no interest charges. Now, i have received a statement mentioning the details as follows :

1) 28/06/2010 -> Late Payment Fee -> Rs. 450.00
2) 04/07/2010 -> Service Tax -> Rs. 46.35
3) 06/07/2010 -> Infinity Payment Received, Thank You -> Rs. 30,000.00
4) 08/07/2010 -> Interest Charges -> Rs. 1,112.06
5) 08/07/2010 -> Service Tax -> Rs. 114.54

I called up the Chennai ICICI Customer care and spoke to Irfan within the time frame of 00.50 hrs to 01.05 hrs on 20th July,2010. When asked for a reference number, i was told that, there was no reference number that is issued to the customers. He said that, he will send an email with the details to the concerned team to followup and i would need to wait for 48 hours.
Hereby, as per my mistake, i agree to pay the late payment charges and the service tax which ever is levied for the late payment charges. I am not ready to pay the interest charges which ever is been levied. Requesting to have this levied. More, when the past transactions are considered, every payment was appropriate. This was the first transaction, where i could not make the payment on time. Hereby, requesting to have this interest charges and the service tax for the same to be leveraged.
