Idea Cellular — Making incorrect bills and Threatning calls from Idea collection

I had an Idea connection([protected]).I was paying my bills on time and my bills were usually above Rs 1500 and I was paying all the bills before time.They saw that this is a Customer making the payments without checking the bill as I was making the payments in advance as well, So they send me a bill for above 3000.I checked that the charges in the bill were incorrect.I called Idea Customer care and they said that they will remove the charges of Rs200 charged incorrectly.I was facing a tech prob due to which I was being charged for calls which didnt even get connected.It took 3 months for them to rectify the prob.I asked them to remove the charges for short calls but they didnt.Then I called them to cancel the Idea services.They said it will be cancelled in 24 hours and I paid all my dues and then one fine day I recieved a bill for above Rs3000 out of which approx Rs.1500 were correct charges and the remaing were incorrect.then the following month I recieved a bill for Rs 5800.I disputed the amount but noone helped me, instead the cust care people talked to me very rudely.Now the Idea collection people are calling my friends and relatives and all those numbers which I called from my Idea number [protected].Now they have started abusing my relatives and threatning them.I am ready to pay Rs 1500 which is correct but the remaining amount is not correct so I should not pay it.Please help me.thanks...

Idea Cellular — Un-professional Reply(Rude Behaviour)

Hello

Am using Idea network from last few months, my cell number is [protected] and my full name is Mehul J Bhayani.

In this few months, today first time I gave call to the customer care center as around 100rs were deducted from my account.

I was informed that it is due to GPRS usage, I do agree to it.

But the reply and the way and manner in which the customer care executives of Idea talked with me was ridiculous and frustrating and the worst I have experienced till now.

BINAL CHAUHAN was the first person who started the conversation that too without giving her name in a proper way. On my request, she told her full name and when I requested her to talk in a polite way as a customer care executive should talk with the customer, her reply was :- ""I know in which tone I am talking, its polite only""

And when I requested her that I need to talk with some senior person or concern person, she replied that ""THERE IS NO SENIOR ON THE FLOOR AT PRESENT""

She was unable to explain me properly what exact usage was done on my cell. I was not clear as I have never used GPRS in my mobile.

Then out of blue, suddenly she told that she will transfer my call to the concern person(I was totally confused that how come just before few seconds no one was available on the floor means no senior and now they came..ha ha ha...good was to consider customers as fools)

MEHUL SONI was the person to handle the call then.

He was not even able to speak English properly so even though not willing, I had to talk with him in Gujarati.

And what he told me was ""I AM THE SUPERVISOR HERE AND I AM THE HEAD, THERE IS NO PERSON ABOVE ME""

I don't understand one thing is that a supervisor cannot speak in English??? very very strange??

On my request for some details of nodal officer, he only gave me contact number of Nodal Officer but didn't give me his name or email address etc.

I do understand that its not allowed to give name, but on my request for email address, his answer was :- ""THIS IS THE ONLY THING WE CAN DO FOR YOU""

MEHUL SONI disappointed me more then BINAL CHAUHAN.

I really doubt that he was a Supervisor.

I gave call to the number which he gave:- [protected], I was asked to dial the extension number of the person I wanted to talk or to dial ""0"", when I dialed ""0"", the line got disconnected on its on.

It is really third class service I have experienced, specially the customer care executives, they are not at all polished to talk with customers in a proper way.

They just want to run away from the questions of the customers and after such frustrating and devastating experience, customer is bound to be angry and talk in a high tone, which the executive take benefit of by telling their seniors that it was customers fault and nothing happens, its all the time the customer who has to bare some new executive every time he/she gives a call.

I RAJKUMAR [protected] my prepaid account recharg with 111 as per rec. voice massage and previous balance was 14 rupees now balace provide 111 insted of 111+14=125 on date 9/12/2008 many time contect to idea care but nither any action nor satisfactory reply.

Dear Sir/Madam,

sub : Regarding deactivation of selected ringtone and refund of ringtone charges a/c for 8 years.

Due to our mistek a ringtone has been selected for mobile no.[protected], but it is very surprsing that the same ringtone has been alloted by your staff for eight years as inqured by idea care and Rs.200/- has been deducted from above mobile no. a/c.

It is requested please deactivate assigned ringtone and refund my deducted ammount.

you can charge only one month charges as per your company rule.

I have registered a complained in IdeaCare, complained ID : 81728996.

Please do needful as soon as posible and give information to us.
