MY IDEA 3G MODEM DATA CARD NO.[protected] IS SHOWING UNBILLED AMOUNT OF RS.799.68, WHEREAS I HAVE STILL NOT USED MY FREE MB's. AND NOW DUE TO CREDIT LIMIT OF RS.750, MY NET IS NOT CONNECTED AND NY FREE USAGE WOULD BE WASTED AND I WOULD BE CHARGED FR UNBILLED AMOUNT. SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT. Idea Cellular — regarding deactivation of my number

My name is Amarjeet from Rewari. I bought an idea sim on 03/01/2007 for business purpose.which number is [protected]. I use this number continues from last five years. I have also issued duplicate sim two times. I submitted my proper documents to the company. In 2008 company offers a scheme on my number. Than i recharge my number worth Rs. 100 and company gives me the five years validity. My validity expires in 2013 and company employees told me if your number is switch off for long time so there is no problem so do this and company did not deactivate your number. But now from last three months i do not use this number continue. So company deactivate my number. And noww company do not issue duplicate sim number. My business is very weak in position due to unuse of this number. An early action is soliciated in this reagard. Thanks

Idea Cellular — SIM not activated since 15 days

I purchased a IDEA PREPAID SIM CARD, mobile no. [protected], about 15 days back from your reseller MOBILE CARE at Tardeo, Mumbai Central. However the documents were rejected as the photocopy was not clear. Thereater i gave submitted by documents with MOBILE CARE TWO times, but the sim has not been activated. MOBILE CARE had informed me that they have submitted the documents to the salesman, Mr. A. Khan on 6th August, 2011, but the sim is still not activated. I was put in contact with one Mr. Dutta (Team Leader - mobile no. [protected]) who has been giving me false assurances taht the SIM will be activated soon. However, till date the SIM has not be activated. I finally approached the IDEA SHOP at Marine Lines, on 11th August, 2011 where I have once again submitted the form and the documents.
However, the sim card is still not activated. I have been harassed just to get one sim card activated. Such poor service and customer care was not expected from such a reputed company being a branch of Aditya Birla Group.

Idea Cellular — After clearing the amount not allowing for MNP & charging again the monthly rental

Dear Sir / Madam,



I Mahesh Punamiya, using Idea number = [protected].

I had given a request for mobile number portability on 08/07/2011 after clearing all my dues , by sending a sms.

Following are the reference numbers which are generated by Customer Care , which will give details of my mnp follow-up, i was also told by customer care in each and every call that as my dues are cleared , so my mnp will take place in seven days.

Details of call to customer care :

1) on 8/7/[protected]

2) on 9/7/[protected]

3) on 11/7/[protected]

4) on 12/7/[protected]

5) on 15/7/[protected]

6) on 3/8/[protected]

7) on 3/8/[protected]

8) on 5/8/[protected].

But, till date my mnp is not done.



I have received a call from Idea[protected] , on 28/7/11 , on 30/7/11 & on 6/8/11 for settlement & not to port out & was also told that we (idea) refund your deposit of Rs.300 , which was paid by you(me) at the time of activation.

Instead of that, i have received a bill of rs.475 (175+300=475-300=175) bill copy attached.



I here by, request you to get me my refundable deposit of Rs.300 & wave off this bill as i haven't use the connection & also Do my Port Out as soon as possible.

Idea Cellular — Number discontinued

My wife was having a mobile number of IDEA. Recently we found that the SIM is not warking. On enquiry it was informed that her number is dicontinued and alloteed to some one else , under the pretext of TRAI gudilines that, phone was not operational for more than 20 days.
It was a prepaid number, the SIM was issued for life time and there was balance in the number.
How the compny can forfit our amount? Is it not loot of the consumer? If some isout side for a long time will he/she be required to take new number and again communucate to all ? On complainet on 19/8/11 at 5.15 pm to to Company on [protected]t the executive informed that the TRAI ( the Telephone Regulatery Authority of India) has Authorise them to do so? When life time SIM was issued, how it can be discontinued ? Why TRAI has not raised the objection when it was issued? The executive was behaving like they have permission for the loot, s it Justifiable? This way the companies are becoming rich by looting the consumer

I HAVE SUBMITTED PORT IN REQUESTED TO IDEA FROM BSNL ON 12TH AUGUST ALONG WITH ALL DOCUMENTS AT BOWENPALLY IDEA CC. SO FAR I HAVE NOT GOT SINGLE MESSAGE REGARDING STATUS WHETHER ITS DONE OR NOT AND WHEN IT WILL BE DONE.

I GOT CALL FROM BSNL ON 16TH AUGUST REGARDING CHANGE IN SERVICE PROVIDER WHICH I TOLD THEM TO ACCEPT MY REQUEST DUE TO SIGNAL PROBLEM IN BSNL NETWORK AT MY RESIDENCE.

BUT IDEA WHICH PROMOTES GOOD SERVICE, SO FAR NOT SERVICED ME IN GOOD WAY AFTER NINE DAYS. WHEN I CONTACTED YOUR CC OVER PHONE, THEY ASKED ME TO WAIT 24 HOURS, BUT AFTER 24 HOURS I GET SAME REPLY AS THEY TOLD ME IT WILL TAKE 7 WORKING DAYS WHICH I THINK ALREADY DONE.

IF THIS IS SERVICE STARNDARD THEN I MADE MISTAKE TO COME TO YOUR NETWORK.

Idea Cellular — 3G Netsetter Service not received properly

Respected sir,

I Rahul Bajaj your customer of your 3G Net Setter Data Card of number [protected] is having problem from the first day i have purchased that net setter.
i purchased it on 5 aug. and i haven't used 3G services more than 1 day till yet i used only EDGE services for whole of the bill cycle from 5 Aug to 22 Aug. and my Bill Plan is Rs 750.
and my bill for this bill cycle is also double then expected ie. Rs 790(Approx.). And my services are barred on the daily basis.
i am unable use my services frequantly and i have made many complaints fromm which some of the complaint number's are

3.[protected]
4.[protected]
5. and other's where by the way of mail's by My Idea.....
and many times i visited "My idea showroom" and compainted them and i call' ed them daily to the owner of My Idea for Resuming my services but they are also helpless because my services are resumed for short time but next day i again gets barred.
and i request you to please resume my services fully and please recheck my bill amount and please adjust it as the rate for 2G and adjust my bill on pro rata basis.
And i have one more idea billing number which is also active at the movement ie. [protected]. This number is running properly.

We were having mobile number [protected] in the name of Miss Prajwala Prakash Ghate, which was
discontinued on account " Phone was not in use for more than 20 days ( as informed by your customer care center executive details of phone number etc has been mentioneed in complaint.
My point is
1. when the SIM was issued for life time how you can cancell it? or issue it to some one else?
2. before discontinuing the number why we were not consulted or informed?
3. when there is balance in my account how you can discontinue it?
4. How, why and who has authorise you to forfit the balance?
5.Why this money can not be refunded?
6.If you dile this number it gives message that this number is not available and customer care executive informed that it has been allotted to some one.
7. May I request you to ask your customer care executive to be polite, honest ( I asked her are you miss Komal Patnayak, she replied No miss Komal is not here what is your problame, when I explained her my problame she become arrogant and when I asked her name again she replied I am Komal) and told that nither your number can be restarted nor balance amount can be refunded.
You are therefore, requested to restat my old number and if it s not possible than atleast refund our balance amount.

Idea Cellular — NON -ACTIVATION OF NEW SIM AFTER CHARGING AN ADVANCE OF Rs.950/-

Dear Sir,

In May 2011, I made an advance payment of Rs.950/- to IDEA CELLULAR LTD. for a new Postpaid Mob. No.[protected]. But nobody from Idea came to me for verification of documents etc. Thereafter, I submitted my documents thrice to Idea persons but my SIM was not activated. I also sent several emails to Idea requesting them to activate my mob. no.[protected] but they informed again and again that MY IDEA NO. WAS WORKING FINE. When I dialed the above number from my other mobile, then to my surprise some lady received my call which means that this number has been allotted to some other person. When this was brought to the knowledte to the Idea , they finally intimated me that "I SHOULD GO FOR A NEW SIM" INSTEAD OF THE ABOVE NUMBER. Now, Sir, I have been facing lot of problem for the last more than three months after PAYING ADVANCE OF Rs.950/- TO IDEA WITHOUT ANY RESULTS. Further, to inform you that Idea person also did not give me the RECEIPT OF Rs.950/- AND SAID THAT THE SAID PAYMENT WOULD BE INCLUDED IN MY FIRST BILLING.

I AM VERY MUCH FED UP WITH IDEA CELLULAR LIMITED AND DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GET MY IDEA NUMBER ACTIVATED AS THE SAME HAS BEEN ALLOTTED TO SOMEONE ELSE AND WHEN I VISIT THE IDEA OUTLET, THEY MAKE EXCUSES AFTER EXCUSES AND ASK ME TO VISIT SOME OTHER IDEA OUTLET FOR MY COMPLAINT.

Therefore, Sir, I humbly request you to look into the matter and get me justice.
