[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — False Billing

this is to inform you that i Anuj Madhok customer of Idea no.[protected].
i had purchased this no from an idea outlet in shalimar bagh in new delhi from VOHRA TELECOM on NOVEMBER'07 to till date due to by mistakely they submit another persons id proof to this no. which i dont know who is he.
After couple of months yr customer executive call me to send the corrected id proof of mine which i did many many time, till date they will not corrected my id verification proof.any time when i call customer care for any problem they dont assist me becoz i dont know which persons document is listed on this number. so i attached my documents to this mail. on this no i hav actvated Internet plan for past 1.5yrs which i m not faced any problem.
but the last couple of days(16 MAY TO TILL DATE) i hav faced a problem like ON MY IDEA no. some how "IDEA TV DAILY" has been activated. which i dont want this facility, due to this subscription RS.10 Has been deducted every day from my no. i had also send msgs many times to STOP this service (STOP APTD1 SEND TO 55456), AFTER I SEND THIS MSG I HAV RECEIVED 1 msg like YOUR REQUEST TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM APTD1 HAS BBEN REGISTERED.
I HAD CALLED MANY MANY TIMES BUT UR EXECUTIVE DOESN'T STOP THIS SERVICE BECOZ THEY THINK FROM THERE DATABASE I M NOT THE CORRECTED PERSON. FROM PAST 2 DAYS I RECHARGE THIS NO FOR LIFE TIME BUT DUE TO THIS CONTINUED TV SERVICE I DONT WANT CONTINUE THIS NO. SO PLZ CORRECTED MY DETAILS & HELP ME BECOZ I DONT WANT DEDUCTED 10RS EVERYDAY FOR THAT IDEA TV SERVICE WHICH I DONT WANT, PLZ STOP THIS SERVICE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT I CONTINUE USING MY NUMBER.

Idea Cellular — False Billing charges

I got a post paid connection of Idea Cellular with no. [protected] and one additional no.in Dec-2009. I opted for the plan of paying rental for 24 months in advance.I did not apply for GPRS but when I received the first verbal bill through phone call (no hard copy or soft copy of bill was sent) then I enquired about the itemized bill and came to know that GPRS charges has been added. I told the customer care to stop it with immediate effect but he told that you have to pay for one more month as billing cycle of this month has started.I had nothing to do but to accept.
He also told me that if you close this service then in future you will never get thie facility of GPRS.Though I told him to stop the service.
I requested for hard copy of bill and customer care person requested me to go for soft copy (through email) in order to save tree by saving paper. I agreed. This was the trick of IDEA cellular to cheat the customer. Next bill was sent in password protected pdf file.I had to use the first four letters of my name and last 4 digits of customer id. My name is Sudarshan Kumar and I started to open the file with suda5441 but the file did not open.I contacted customer care but did not got the right password.I kept on paying the bill as per the SMS received and was not able to open the bill. I used to pay the amount as asked by the co. assuming that they must be charging properly.After following for few months i got the password which was to my surprise maru5441 .My name has nothing to do with "maru".

This was the gimmick of Idea cellular co. They charged me for Idea music station @ Rs. 199 P.M. for few months (which I had not requested) till I was not able to open the ebill as password provided was not working.I complained about it but again the same reply, you have to pay till this month.
From next month they stopped charging for music but started chatging for GPRS again.They Charged for Feb & March in a single bill @ Rs.150 PM.How can they start GPRS if in Feb-2010 they told me that you will never get this facility again if you close it.
Then I wrote to customer care and lodged complain also.They gave me a refund of Rs. 150 for GPRS whereas they had charged Rs.300.
Also I had opted for a plan which says that you pay Rs. 200 in advance and Rs. 50 will be deducted from the bill for next 8 months. But in place of Rs. 50 I got discount of Rs. 35 or 40. When asked about it, they told that the Rs. 50 was maximum amount which was not told at the time of selling the plan by Idea cellular.
After that they started sending SMS that you have pressed * for song selection. If you do not reply within 24 hours then caller tune will be loaded to your mobile.Again a method of looting.
This is not only the case with me.I know 4-5 of my friends who are getting false bill but they are paying as they do not want to change the no. or plan as they had already paid 24 months rental.
In nut shell, IDEA Celluaur is cheating its customer in a Big way.

Dear Sir, I have Idea Postpaid connection in Madhya Pradesh Circle and My number is [protected]. and my plan is 1599. and my billing cycle is 15th of every month. my complaint is regarding false billing. On 15th August, new billing cycle started so i get 10000free minutes, and 8GB 3G Data but on 19th August my unbilled amount is around 115 rs. but after 1 day that is on 20th August my unbilled goue to 2900 rs. due to this my outgoing services are deactivated because my credit limit is 2100 rs. when i contacted to idea office they told me they dont have enough information regarding this and forcing me to pay amount for starting outgoing services. my question to idea is tell me my usage charges and what is the meaning of credit limit if you are billing more than credit limit. i also mail this to appellate authority of idea but no response from their side. i also reached to idea head office, tt nagar bhopal. they told me that they waiver false billing charges. now i port my number to vodafone. and on 15th September idea billed me rs 3816/- my complaint is that what type of charges they are billing me and why i should i pay more that credit limit.they are just blackmailing me telling me to pay otherwise my services will stoppped
