[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — incorrect info about the 2gb 3g data per month for 2 months with nokia lumia 720

is the offer only valid if one goes for a new idea connection or is it valid on the existing connections also??

I am also facing the same problem.when I called idea they say they font know about the offer.my no.is [protected].pls help me how to activate it.

I purchased Nokia Lumia720 on 4/6/2013 with offer of free 3G data of 2gb/month for two month from idea .

When I called idea they say they don't know about the offer and told me that you have to talk to nokia or to store from where you have purchased the mobile. i call store also but they dont have any answer. both nokia and Idea playing with peoples. i will deactivate my idea and will use number portability. Idea wont give customer satisfaction. its cheat customer.
i will write to customer court also about this.

Even i am facing the same issue. I contacted the Idea customer care for requesting to activate the plan after purchasing Lumia 720 but the customer care exec. told that he has no idea about it and asked me to follow the instruction given on sticker on the box but its only written to visit ideacellular.com..thats it..quick reply would be appreciated.

Don't worry friends, wishing your problem will be solved as mine has been solved on 15/6/2013. Now I am enjoying the offer of the 3G data by Idea. I think the problem is occurred due to the communication gap between the Management offering the scheme and Customer care staff. As per my experience the Customer care staff of Idea is required more training to guide and help their customers, because I have been suffered very much as like as you before solving my problem, due to the lack of knowledge of the staff and information showing on their system. Please wait for a SMS coming from Idea for the confirmation of your offered 3G data has been started.

I have bought a Nokia Lumia 720 Black on 25th June' 13.
As per the promo offer i was suppose to get Idea 2GB of 3G data per month for 2 months. It's been more than a 1 week inserted an Idea SIM in it. Still dint get any auto activation message.
After calling to Idea customer care they told me that the data has been activated and check by *125# as i have checked their is free data massage nor any activation mail in my cell.
Still waiting for it, Please do the needful As soon As possible .

even i am facing the same issue. When I called idea care they say that they cant help me My No.is +91 [protected].

I have purchased a nokia lumia 720 phone on 3/8/2013 on online service of filpkart, i got it on my hands on 8/8/2013, on the back of the box on nokia lumia 720 a label of idea cellular showing that you will get a internet promotional pack of 2gb data of 3g per month for two months, for that i have to do the first call from my new phone with idea sim, then it will be get activated to the package, i have inserted my sim on the nokia lumia 720 on 8:30pm of 8/8/2013 and made my first call to [protected], but till now the pack is not activated, for that i have contacted the idea customer care, they are simply saying that the pack is not applicable for you, i have asked for the reason, they are not even saying the reason for that,
even tho i am legally eligible for that internet pack i cannot use that pack. So please help me by resolving this problem for me by making the idea cellular by activating this pack for me on mobile number +91-[protected] which i have used first in my new nokia lumia 720 mobile.

It completed more than 72 hours by inserting my sim in my new mobile.
