I m Using idea prepaid connection [protected] & in past they many time deducted my balance by unkown reasons, today is same case, Yesterday on 18th July I Activated 5Rs gprs Pack & Customer care Told Me To deactivate it before 12am Midnight. so When I Activated Pack & After Sometime I Got Sms Written Deactivation Code *800*25#. At 10pm I Dailed The Very Same Code & To My Surprise Now 25Rs Gprs Pack got Activated. Later Customer Care Told Me That This Code Is For Activation But Earlier They Sent Me SmS With This Code As Deactivation Code & He Filed my Complaint With SR 1-[protected]. Today on 19th July Someone From Idea Called me & Only Gave Me The Reason For Deduction & Didn't Listen My side.

Plz Do Something & One Thing For IDEA! Enough is Enough, This Time I Have Proof For Ur Wrong Doing As SMS Which U Sent Me, I[censored] dont Credit My Money Back I Will Have No Option To File Case In Consumer Court Against U, (For CHEATING & MISLEADING Customers)

Idea Cellular — Misleading

I am user of Idea Service in Chandigarh. As told by the Idea that full talktime will be given on recharge of Rs.275, I was given only Rs.247.33. When I contacted them (call center) they said nothing can be done now. Kindly act towards this kind of misguiding activities followed by Idea Cellular company.

Idea Cellular — Wrong Deduction of amount

Dear Sir,
Idea cellular deducted my amount for gprs usage. when i complaint against this wrong deduction they provide me one report o[censored]sage of gprs.

As per your attached report i used GPRS 3 times but Idea Cellular deducted my balance 4 times (Rs.5 each).
As per Idea attached report debit amount is showing for three usage given below
1.GPRS usage Rs.0.067558
2.GPRS usage Rs.0.5723436
3.GPRS usage Rs.0.0

Kindly deduct only Rs.0.06399016 for above gprs usage and revert my balance amount. Kindly revert Rs.5 of 4th usage that not mentioned in your report.

This is the second issue I am facing with the idea cellular number [protected].

IS THIS THE KIND OF SERVICE YOU PEOPLE PROVIDE TO YOUR CUSTOMER . DAILY DEDUCTING 5 RS WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR CUSTOMER.

DO YOU PEOPLE THINK THAT MONEY GROWS ON TREE FOR THE CUSTOMER.
Daily a amount of rs 5 hs been deducted from my balance for the past one week. This is just ridiculous. Here I want an explanation as to why my 5 rs are cut inspite of me not activating an service on my mobile.

Do not ever activate any services without my knowledge on my number or I will have to take an exterme step. This is not what is expected of a cellular company like IDEA.

If a customer does not pay you people take immediate action why on earth does not this action take place immediately when a customer complains.

Please reimburse the amount on my mobile immediately.

This is the worst kind of service I have ever found.

I need a call on this immediately.

Idea Cellular — Misleading Unlimited GPRS Plan

Recently, after seeing an advertisement, I did a recharge of Rs. 98/- on my Idea (Mumbai) prepaid connection to subscribe for a monthly unlimited internet on mobile (gprs) service.

Since I already had all the GPRS settings, etc. installed on my cellphone, I started using the same in a short while only to notice that my talk-time account balance has been reduced substantially. Doubting this, I called up Idea customer care to clarify the usage details and any related issues, I was then informed that the unlimited GPRS plan becomes active only after 4 hours from the time the 98/- recharge is done. In other words, one is supposed to wait for 4 hours before being able to enjoy this plan.

My only agony with the above situation is that —
> First of all, it is not unlimited but it has a 2 GB monthly & 70 MB daily limit which contradicts their advertisement completely.
> At the time of recharge or after the recharge was successful, I wasn't informed about the 4-hour activation duration due to which I lost my talk-time balance.

I have noticed such misleading advertisements/promotions in other cases also but it seems that regulatory bodies are least concerned about the same. It seems as if we as a customer will have to be responsible for not reading the fine lines and succumb to such manipulative tactics otherwise.

Idea Cellular — REGARDING WRONG DEDUCTION CHARGES

dear sir,
i have purchased new idea SIM card no. [protected] and have activated Gprs on 13th june 2010 on 0 rental plan.
i have used it for only 20 min.(yahoomail) but amount deducted was Rs. 90/- which is unpredictable

I am using an !dea prepaid service. My mobile no. is: [protected]. Today (25/10/10) at 9.15 AM they had deducted the balance Rs. 30 from my !dea prepaid no#. I had already called to customer care executive regarding the same, I came to know with the provided detail from ur executive that I had subscribed a VAS name comedy junction. But I am totally disagreeing with this commit bcoz till now I didn’t have any message or notification about the same.

I am fully confirmed and ensure you that are some technical mistake. I don't have any VAS or dialer tones etc. I am requested you to refund my deduction.

Kindly Note: There is a Senior Customer Care Executive name Biltu Shah, that person doesn’t have any professionalism manners. I am totally disagreeing about talking platform by Mr. Biltu Shah…. Pls do the needful for this…

I had already called to customer care executive regarding the same, but he didn't provide the proper detail. I don't have any VAS or dialer tones etc. I need my deducted balance back bcoz this is wrong deduction.

Idea Cellular — Incorrect money deduction

I am Rakhi. My idea mobile number is [protected].
I had raised a complaint against the incorrect deduction of money towards health tips,playing contest and some VAS sms.
I never did any activation from my end and it started getting deducted from 30th Dec 2010 till today(3rd Jan 2011).
I called up the customer care today and informed them the same. They said I should give a call after 4 hour and i did the same and they were telling that it was activated from my end.
I have not activated it from my end. Kindly look into this issue and do needful for reverting the deducted money in my account.

idea cellular service — Incorrect money deduction

I had raised a complaint the incorrect deduction of money towards I am idea user last 1 yr but have no any complain, but today
(09-jan-11) my 100 rs talk time illegal deducted I am very shocked this is very shameless, and I called up the customer care today
And informed them same .they said I should give a call after 3-4 hrs but I have to no reply for the customer care.
Please clear the matter and do the needful help. Idea highlight the our advertise & policy line is” WHAT AN IDEA SIR JI” but I give the new policy line “WHAT A CHOR SIR JI”

Idea — wrong deductions

my name is gregory f rosario i have had taken an new idea Sim two weeks back ([protected]) on which the idea co had been charging me UN necessarily. the co had been deducting rs 30 every day from my mobile balance as an GPRS unlimited plan activation on my mobile which i had never asked for. inspite of deactivation this facility from the idea gallery which is situated in panjim and getting an assurance from the personnel in there my balance is been deducted every day until now. the customer service personnel had not been providing sufficient information and have no idea what they are doing. i have been getting different and wrong feedback's from every customer service i had spoken to.

kindly requesting to resolve my problem as untill now i have been charging rs 30 everyday from my mobile balance every day and the HR or the customer service personnel had been doing nothing to stop that
