Idea Net Setter — slow & interrupted service

I am using the Idea Net setter from last 3 weeks.The speed was very slow i.e. 53.6kbps.The calculated cost per Hr is Rs.30.- which is very costlier this time. Any IDea to cope up with the problem?

I have purchase a data card of Idea but It speed is very slow around 20 or 30 Kbps. What is do for fast speed.

Please give me a solution

i purchased idea net setter on 12april supposed to be good speed by net setter but after using it i found it is 99 times slow than they offer i am getting speed only 1kb/ps to 3kp/ps between 10am to 6pm rather than they offer 238kb/s i have complaint through email but no solution after 7 days of my complain

Idea people very clearly make fake bills, me also sufferes usage of Rs 60 a day, how its possible with in hour

I recently purchased idea netsetter from Universe communications, Aundh, Pune, From the very first day, I am facing lots of issues with Idea netsetter.

1. It is working very slowly i.e. internet speed is very slow. "Get an Idea NetSetter High speed internet on the move": this advertisement is under question.
2. Internet connection disconnects frequently. This make this USB stick almost unusable. Also, this make my laptop to restart frequently which interrupt me.

3. I can not reach to post paid Idea customer care, as I am not an Idea post paid or prepaid customer. This was the excuse given to me when I tried to call on [protected]. Idea customer care does not provide an option to connect to post paid customer service which makes almost impossible for non idea customer to reach to customer care.

4. I paid Rs 5750/- for Idea Netsetter, but Idea do not care about providing customer service to me.

5. If there is a provision to return back the USB card and get back the money, I would prefer to go that way.

5. Since I am not idea prepaid or post paid mobile customer, saying this customer care executive at [protected] refused to help me, and left no choice to go consumer court.



Guys, those are planning to go for idea netsetter, Please avoid.

After reading this comment, i will rethink my decision to purchase idea. One thing that is sure - Idea Customer Care executives are poorly trained.

I bought my idea net setter on may 19 from calicut idea delear (kerala). Until now I didnt get any uninterrupted connection.

I very recently purchased idea net setter from idea point, Biharsharif, Bihar, persuming the fact "high speed internet on the move' that I had come across through idea website, from very first day I am facing lot of problems like :

a) The connection and authentication process takes much time, most of time it asks to redile.
b) Even if the connection is established, the connection is interrupted most frequently
c) The signal strength shows above 95 % despite of that pages takes much time to open or finally end up with blank page.
d) I contacted Idea customer care several times but the call was end up saying that your problem will be looked after by the idea point where the card was purchhased from.
e) When I contacted the person at Idea point, Biharsarif, the answer was "it is temporary problem and will get over soon.

Now, as an end user I am feeling totally helpless on this issue.

this idea net setter is very very very slow in T.V they are showing one gving the service to Cm one is not fair its dam dam slow it takes more than 3 min jst to open the web page to surf then wat abt download jst thnk that ...i lost my money and time instead of purchasing this its better to use the cyber cafe ..sometime it not even works in a proper manner some error 619 port open smnthng stuff probs when we call cm care they say 24 hrs ..but i thnk they do know 24 hrs means they will tell the same after 24 hr and when we call again they say 24 hrs its waste o[censored]sing ...its better to use BSNL or Reliance...Bsnl they will resond slow but usage is superbeb... IDEA Waste really i lost my money and time by using this idea ...

My name is sanil am using Idea netsetter for 5 months in 695 rs for unlimitted internet, in first recharge i can use the net at fullspeed, afterwords it going slow down at 20 Kb/ps, i make a call at customercare, when i talking with him he accidently says that u have exceed the download limit and it will going slow...nw i realize that the idea netsetter service is fully cheating whith the customer.

So my friends dont buy idea netsetter and also dont trust idea servicea...

Thier customer care executive is rude and give false information and put on hold for 10 mins easily .First they gave me wrong connection and got payment for different connection. I am realy unsatisfied with idea and will never go for idea ..and a humble request to all people pls don go for buy otherwise u will jz feel pain deeply .Because u will face an insult frm their customer care . And U will hav to pay one month bill for 1 day.

I have a very gud advice for everyone who is planning to purchase idea connection by seeing their advertisement in TV or from any medium, that never even think to buy idea netsetter or any service as u will land in many losses.
I purchased a idea 3G netsetter from yeshwanthpur, bangalore before 3 months for Rs1800.It worked properly for 2 months, later on d 3rd month on 13th of march i have done with a recharge of Rs 649 which gives unlimited service .i used it for 1 day, later prob started, as it cannot be connected. i called customer care and they used to suggest me many things n i do it but is of no use. REALLY IDEA HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE as they only know misguide customers. Different customer care agent give different suggestion, like giving wrong information, giving wrong address of their showrooms.in actual those people donno what their company provide and what not. At last, after making more than making 25 calls n spending hours talking to them, my problem got solved after 25 days. NOTE : i paid 649 n used on 4 1 day. After my 1st prob got solved, next prob started as it get hanged everytime. so 4 one month, due to idea i lost my mobile balance, 649 for recharge, travelling expense and most important i wasted lot of time due to their bad customer service which they provide.

NEVER OPT FOR IDEA AS IT WILL BE THE MOST BAD IDEA OF YOUR LIFE.
