[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Pathetic After Sales Service

I got my washing machine door damaged on 20th Oct and had lodged a complaint with the IFB customer care. there is no respons after that from them.. when I try to call them, they say they will fix it that day or the next day..Till now no body has bothered to call me or come to fix it..
I never expected such pathetic after sales service from a company like IFB. I think they dont have a strong service chain anywhere in India( my case happening at chennai).
I would strongly recoommend the readers not to go for IFB appliances in future, as it is like a pain in the a...

IFB service in bangalore is quite pathetic and even senior mmanagement is not listening.

I logged original call on 18 march[protected] and paid close to 4000 rupees for service rendered. The service engineer did not have patience to test his work and left the place after collecting money. Later when I checked the machine, It is vibrating a lot a making lot of noise which was not present before the repair. This tells obvious problem with quality of service or parts replaced.

I followed up enumerable times with Mrs Anita and service engineers (mohan, raghavendra and few others). Always I got reply that they are coming but nobody turned even on staurdays.

I again formally logged one more complaint on 26 apr[protected] for the same. Still there is no action. Harinidhi folks were also suppopse to come back if they could locate warranty details as they promised to return money in case they find warranty details in plant record.

10 days befor I spoke to Senior manager named Dheeraj, he assured to take approriate action and nothing happened after that as well.

I am surprised how IFB business will survive under such scenario.
our washing machine is troubled please serviced it.
I bought the IFB on 23rd of december 2006, from the time we started using the machine we are having the abnormal rotation, vibration of the machine, the drum had a leakage problem .We are still under the warrenty period but we have serviced the machine more than 5 times
IFB HAS ONE OF THE WORST AFTER SALES SERVICE...
Local vizag service in-charge is not lifting his mobile. one madam is lifted the land line phone.there we are able to get that gentleman his name is ANAND, was giving irregular answer i am not here to give any answer to any body as i am busy with lot of appointments he told. it may become bad on such a big company like IFB.May look into matter must be rectified immediately.My mobile no is;[protected]
It has taken already 20 days from IFB side.
I agree the IFB service in Vizag sucks!!

IFB WASHING MACHINE — Service is Pathetic

I logged complaint with IFB and the service from the Dealer is really pathetic. They dont respond properly and the technicians are not really trained. THey dont even know what they are doing. I have been caling them and they dont even pick up the phone and respond. They have a feeling that they are doing some favour to us inspite o[censored]s taking AMC. My complaint number is 4230997

I really dont understand what to do with this issue.
my I F B machine is out of orrder since last 4 days.In spite of reapted reminders, no one has turned up.The attitude of yr staff is to give other no.Once a man came, but there was no electricity.He did not turn up again.We are waiting but how long?we made a complaint on I.F.B.58888. BUT THERE Is NO RESPONSE SO FAR.Kindly help.

Washing Machine — After Sales Service

My complaint with M/s.Electrolex is pending for more than eight months ans still now no action that advising me that they are looiing into the matter .Please advce me how to go ahade in this regard.

Please note that the above detailed washing machine was purchased by me some ties back and was not in use for few years .It was put into full utility only from 2008 and was working well.
Suddenly few months back it got stuck as there was a smoke dictated while it was switched on and this was reported to your service center. The person came for inspection and told that it needs a total checking hence was asked to bring this machine to service center.
Day before yesterday only we could take the machine to the service center and was told to leave the machine at the center. In the evening when contacted it was told that they will not be able to do anything as no spare parts are available for this product and the production is stopped.
It was advised to take to the dealer and take another product on exchange offer as there is no spares available for this.

This is most unfortunate that you go on chaining the models and put the customer into lurch as no spare is available and asking us to buy another one under exchange offer. This is unfair trade practice and deficiency in service.

Hence myself call upon you to repair my machine and give at the earliest and oblige .Wish you will appreciate this and reply .

I too have IFB top load washing machine and I am terribly harassed by the after sales service. My machine stops working in between any operating cycle and I have complained about this to IFB via customer care phone number, IFB's official website and emails. But they are least bothered about the fate of the machine after selling the machine. Complaining to IFB is like banging your head to a wall. No response is received yet. Totally agree with all other sufferers of IFB's after sales. Too bad, terrible, pathetic service. Not worth purchasing any product of IFB
i have front load IFB washing machine kg Senetor. my machine is under AMC valid up to 21.04.2012. this machine has stopped to work w.e.f 23.07.2011. i have made complained on 23.07.2011 at phone no. [protected]. i was told that within 48 hrs
techenician will visit my home but nobody visited my home till 26.7.2011. again i made a call to the above said telephone no. and i was assured by the telecaller that techenician will visit my home today itself, but nobody bothered to hear my call. again i made a call to that no. and talked to Mr. Pradeep from Kolkatta who again assured me that my complaint would be redressed today and gave the contact no. of service center. i made a call at a telephone no. 32929578 of a delhi service centre and talked to Mr. Mohit who also assured me that somebody would defietaly visit me home. but till writting this complaint nobody has visited my home. i am very upset with the IFB's after sales service. i have paid AMC charges in advance for two years. they promised falsely that your copmlaint will be attended within 48 hrs.

I Mr Kumar living in Bhadravathi, Shimoga dist. Karnataka, bought an IFB washing machine (6 kg senator) during March 2007.

My machine made a lot of noise, hence Iodged a complaint during june 2011. Inspite of repeated reminders nobody visted my home for more than a month.Then finally, when one Mr Sandeep arrived to service the machine, he just placed his hand into the drum and informed us that the drum had
to be replaced, because it had cut.He assured us that he would place order for the drum, and on receiving the same he would contact us.

Being rainy season, I faced a lot of problems and hence requested Mr Sandeep time and again. But he kept claiming that he had not received
the drum, and that he had placed order for it and was to receive it from Bangalore.Having waited for more than 2 months, I enquired with him, if he would service the Machine if I brought the drum myself from Bangalore. He affirmed me that he would.I even enquired if he was very sure that
the drum had to be replaced, he replied in the positive.

i made a trip to bangalore, only for the purpose of purchasing the IFB 6 kg senator drum. At the service center I was informed that Mr sandeep
had made two to three visits to bangalore, but had not placed order for our drum.On returning with the drum, I informed Mr Sandeep of the same.
He again took more than 2 weeks to vist us, that also after we complained to IFB service centre Bangalore. When He finally arrived and opend the machine to repair in my presence, I REALISED THE DRUM WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION . Mr sandeep insisted that the drum had cut. On reprimanding him Mr sandeep agreed and replaced two bearing in the machine. The machine is in working condition now. Mr Sandeep took the drum on 30/aug/2011 assuring me that he would pay for the Drum the next day. But to date he not turned up inspite on upteen reminders.
The drum cost us Rs 2800/- which is still due to me. HELP! PLEASE!
IFB after sales Service in Bangalore is really pathetic. I recently moved to Bangalore. Wanted to fix my washing machine.
First i had to raise request multiple times. They will not give you service request no or complaint no when you call. After repeated calls finaly they gave me the complaint no.
Most pathetic was the behaviour of the executive who came to service. He unscrewing of 2 bolts and said done. When i asked hin to connect the machine to water outlet he just declined. Worst he screwed the bolts back and left without saying anything.

My friend who have LG washing machine got everything done in 24 hours.
With my personal experience i would recommend "People should avoid buying IFB products".
It happened to me. It has been 45 days that I have raised complaint and still there is no response. Please don't buy IFB washing machine. They have very poor aftersales service.

i hereby inform you that these complaints were lodged by me for same problem which was not attended by IFB till date.

i have already done so much followup with IFB and now i feel very much harrassed, disappointed and cheated by IFB.

My 1st complaint[protected].10.2014, i came to know that my complaint was closed. How my complaint was closed without sorting the issue and without my confirmation of ok????????????

I again asked the customer care to take immediate action on my complaint and they generated another complaint no.[protected].10.2014


Now you people tell me that after payng handsme amount for AMC, IFB is treating like this.

Shame on IFB !!!


Notice : 1. Attend my complaint immediately today 09.10.2014 between 3.00 pm to 8.00pm

2. Take the hard action against that person who has closed my complaint without solving and thus by cheating with me and IFB

Pls do not do not do not go for any IFB product.
I am suffering since 2007. Cheated, duped, bluffed they done everything to me.
Invested on 2 machines, because invested, no option and had to renew the AMC.
Very silly,
1. Ticket will be closed without attending. There is no mechanism to validate.
2. Once trouble in the machines means dead for at least 2 months.
3. Such utter people on the ground, even daily calls will not penetrate in to their ears.
4. Everything is outsourced to Franchise.
5. No proper validation of Franchise, they don't have people to correct the dishwaser.
6. Months after, spares will not come.
7. After months, received spares faulty which are refurnished from other customers.
8. People on ground are utterly arrogant.
9. Not sure Who gave the ISO certification?
Do you still want to go for it.
This is same all over India from Kashmir to Tamil nadu.
