[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

I purchased a washing machine model Elite.From the date of installation on 28th June, 08 the machine is leaking.I find it very difficult to get their technician from the chennai service centre.Everytime I have to route the complaint through their call centre and follow with local service centre. With frequent attempts I could manage to get the technician three times during the last 16 days, still they could not identify the defect and the machine is not usable.
My complaints to local marketing person is not useful and he is trying avoid the complaint calls.
The chennai branch manager is not at all attending the phone calls.
There is no response to my complaint through e mail also.
Very very poor customer service.I am unable to get their higher officials' contact nos/E mail ID to proceed further.
Based on the current problem I am facing,
my suggestion is do not buy IFB products even though I was happy with my earlier IFB machine model Executive which has served 12 years.
ifb people are not giving service for my machine.i am calling tham repeatedly, they were always saying that with in two days technician will come but noboby turn
I purchased IFB washing machine about 5 years back and made payment for 2years AMC.After that no one turned back.I am not able to contact them also. The call centre No. given also not working. I have get the washing machine serviced at my residence at Asoke Nagar, Chennai-83.But I find the IFB services are worst and atleast I get the parts from them, I could get it serviced by outside mechanics. Ref to my customer complaint ID 1986477, nobody has attended to the complaint. Given the mobile no of Reetu as [protected]. She confirmed to get it repaired today and call back in 10 minutes. in the absence of any call back I called again but she does not pick up the phone. after even 10 calls. This in not acceptable. IFB claim of 1 million satisfied customer is under question and fake.
My Elena make IFB washing machine is under AMC. As the machine stopped working from 1st August, 2008, I registered a complaint with the Customer care centre. ( [protected]). They were very well behaved ( not like the Tata Sky guys- who are the worst service providers and their Pune centre does not know how to answer to customers call) and a complaint no 2030647 was generated.
But unfortunely no service mechanic has reported to my home as yet. Can you please help.
the IFB washing machine service is worse i have seen and is not advisable at any cost to purchase.i suggest all the readers of this post to think twice before purchasing this machine. i, and the people out here are wasting time to let others know ...rest depends on you ...before buying, go throughth the list of complains against the product that is the real picture behind the screen. rest depends on you ...
I am also a victim of similar situation as a Ifb full automatic washing m/c(executive) owner.But just tell me where is the value for money if i have to wait so long(2 years)to get my m/c in operating condition?

I have recently bought IFB Dishwasher and Washing M/C i had been committed that Engineer will come for Demo on Sunday but nobody has come on Sunday and Today also they said we cannot come. Its surprising response with new customer.
I am willing to take this up with Consumer court. Could you pls let me know the process.

This machine would be good, if it is working fine.. about the customer service, it is very very poor . I think third party is taking over the service bit, they are concentrating only on money not service.. Initially they are asking to us to buy the detergent and some other cleaning items.
My IFB machine is not working (drum not rotating) and I have called the call center daily from 14/08/2008. Daily I get an assurance that someone will come. No one came yet. Looking at the posts above it seems that IFB is going out of business and not able to support anyone further. I will just buy something new and advise everyone not to buy IFB products.
My complaint booking no 2107781 is still not attented after 3 days. When calling help line no their responce is also very bad

My washing machine is in wranttey period and I bought it 8 months back but today its display is malfunctioning and water is not getting drained on auto mode
your service engineer attended it and sid that display LED is not ok and it will take time to replace

Main thing they are not ready to give any proof of their attending machine

If company like IFB is not able to take care it is better to go for any machine

I have complained twice for my IFB washing machine but nobody came to check it.
Veryyyyyyyyyy veryyyyyyyyyy poor, for god's shake don't buy this [censored]ing machine, whose services are poor of the poorest... do something with consumer court... i am there to support to the extream... we need to [censored] off these type of cheaters

IFB: Dish Washer (Neptune Model) — IFB Customer Service Poor for dish washer in West Bengal (kolkata) region

I have a dish washer manufactured by IFB . It is now in 1-year warrenty period. The machine frequently goes out of order.
The service center of IFB has poor infrastructure. It takes minimum 1-month to back into oreration in most times.The IFB, their service center and technicians do not respond to customers
request and keep unattended for most times. Now my machine is out. The techician came last week but failed to repair. I do not know when the machine will be in operation. No body repond to my compain or reply their next visit to repair.

Hope the buyers will be careful to purchase IFB products in future. I informed their management on the matter but they are also reluctant.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — NO SERVICE.. FOLLOWING FOR PAST 1 WEEK

I had an issue with my IFB washing machine. As soon as i switch on the machine, the power trips off. I had given a compaint last saturday. Till today no body turned up. I am calling them every day to know the status, and suddenly today i came to know that someone has updated the service call with comment that customer (Myself) has requested them to come on saturday.

What crap service agents of IFB... I have seen my friends who have bought samsung washing machine, have very good service persons and attend in a days time. Don't ever think of buying IFB products, VERY POOR SERVICE.

yes, i have complaining since so many days no body is responding to it. it seems very casual to customers problems, its waste buying IFB washing machine, assuming that its the best machine available in the market.
My washing Machine IFB Elite is not working. Phone Nos. of Service Center[protected] and 28524213 are out of order. The machine was puchased on 18th january 2008. Please get it repaired.
