[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

IFB Washing Machine — Hopeless Service

My washing machine is out of order since 7 days and I have been calling cutomer care and their technician since 7 days, every day I get a same reply from customer care people that "we will set a reminder and that person will come down to your place right now"...I called up their technician hell lot of times and got same reply everytime "Madam, I'll come to your place before 12 today"...nobody has even bothered to come and get it done, even the machine is in warrenty period...I dnt understand being an International Brand, hw can these ppl can treat (or dare to treat) their customers like this...Are they just fooling us around ?? why no one is so bothered or sensible enough to take of care of such things ?
I think we should get used to of such things and we should adapt ourselves to live with such shamless and irresponisble people...tht's it !!!

IFB Washing Machine - Digital — not working for 1 month now despite of several complaints

I have lodged a complaint for my under warranty Washing machine on 1September 2008 but even after more than one month it is not repaired. Yesterday they sent a SMS saying that "Your complained has been resolved and share your feedback with us". This is a mockery as no one from IFB has visited us in past 15 days even after repeated complaints on their service number. Their Service manager Mr. Bhim, also don’t pick his phone to talk. I am helpless now.

I have brought this washing machine in 2005 with two years of extended warranty. It means that my machine is under warranty till 2009. In between in 2007 they said that we don’t have extended warranty information and you need to get an AMC for the machine and IFB will extend the warranty on getting the warranty information for another two years. I have taken the AMC as I was not able to find the extended warranty papers with me. that time. This year I found the payment details for the extended warranty amount paid in 2005 and warranty form number was given to me by IFB with the assurance that now they are responsible for the washing machine till 2009 under warranty and thereafter for two years more till 2011 under AMC. Though no paper proof is given to me till now for the warranty and the new AMC dates even after repeated reminders.

my ifb supremo under AMC has not been functional since 29th sept08.i have lodged a complaint to customer care on the 30th sept 08 however no one has come to attend to the complaint till date i.e. 5th oct 08. i am daily reminding the customer care who assure me that my problem will be attended to but to no avail. my complaint no is 2243435. please have the complaint attended to. My machine is not drawing water when the programme is started.please have it attended to lest i approach consumer redressal forum for the needful
My complaint no. 2240653 dated 30-9-08 for IFB washing machine under AMC is not being attended, I have reminded them everyday and call center says it will be attended today but nobody comes.

I purchased a washing machine about 6 months ago from sony electronics, deoria, UP. Since last 23 days we had a complain that the machine was not drying the cloths. Since then we have complained about 5-6 times but so far nobody has come to even see the machine. We are planning to go to cosumer forum very soon.
Very very poor customer service.I am unable to get their higher officials' contact nos/E mail ID to proceed further.
Based on the current problem I am facing, my suggestion is do not buy IFB products.
I purchased a washing machine about six months ago.Since last 25 days I found that the machine is unable to dry the cloths and I find it very diifficult to get their technician from the Deoria service centre.Everytime I have to route the complaint through their call centre and follow with local service centre. With frequent attempts I could manage to get the technician three times during the last 16 days, still they didnt have any time to see the machine which is not usable at the moment.
My complaints to local marketing person is not useful and he is trying avoid the complaint calls.
The deoria branch manager is not at all attending the phone calls.
There is no response to my complaint through e mail also.

I purchased IFB WASHING MACHINE from Ahmedabad a-one electronic maninagar on 12/10/2008 .For demo I follow for several times to comany .Enggg has not given complete demo.As it is fully automatic engg.Instructed water leve to be controlled by manually. Dryer function is not working in new brand machine.
Senior staff of ahmedabad office has not respond my e-mail answer
company missleading the customer .i request you investigate the issue and Replace the machine or give back my rs 12000/ back.

IFB Elina — clothe slipped in shaft

in amritsar ihav lodged a complaint about more extra sound in m/c an engr.named Amandeep Rana came and checked the m/c andtold about lipping of clothe and told to send the m/c at service centre i requested to doit at home but he refused i, then spoke to banglore office he insured to do it at my home by ludhiana engr"s phone From amritsar office(M/S dayal Engg.) igot ameage to do it at home but work is still pending please do it personally.
i have a IFB washing machine, i thought it was the best in the industry of consumer care.3months back i had logged a complaint for service my machine it was just a general service and replacing of a bottom bush, they gave a complaint number and did not respond to it and closed my complaint saying the bush is not available.my question is if IFB dont have this should i enquire at samsung?and again i logged the same complaint yesterday and they said they will look into it as my old complaint was not closed, but again they ask me to wait another 48 hours, its so disgusting to have this machine and i would recommed all not to go for it complaint no 1 is 806676 and 2nd is 2327357.will i get a feedback on this ?

i am mrs shivaraman, my ifb digital washing machine is under repair for the past one month... i complained that my machine's door is not working properly...after the complaint was registered (no.2167017 dt 10/9/2008) one service person from vikas enterprises chennai examined my machine and suggested that the problem is with my machine's mother board and that has to be replaced(my machine is under AMC) and he took the mother board and told me that it would be replaced within 4 or 5 days. But that was totally forgotten and after repeating phone calls and arguments for 2 weeks one service personnel came with so called new mother board . He came late and told me that mother board has been fixed temporarily and he would come the next day and fix the machine but he never turned up...now my machine is in such state that it has be thrown to a person who collects odd ones...the main problem is not addressed to... and now it shows hell a lot error messages that is very new even to the manual that you have provided... i[censored] wish i would send photos of my machine in a sad state... the manager of that particular enterprises never picks up the cell phone...and i always hear blah ...blahs from the front desk...please help me in this regard as i have 2 small children who may accidentaly touch the machine and run into problems...

if i am not getting a reply from u people on this matter i am going to publish the photos of the machine(god save my machine) in the magazines...and tell public that your after sales service is a disaster

I am mr.Khajamuhinudeen, my ifb digital washing machine is under repair for the past two months... i complained that my machine's not working properly...after the complaint was registered one service person from Service centre, Kollam, Kerala., examined my machine and suggested that the problem is with my machine's "O"ring and he took the replaced within 4 or 5 days. But that was totally forgotten and after repeating phone calls and arguments for 2 weeks .

IFB WASHING MACHINE — Unsatisfactory service

My experience with IFB washing machine service is extremely poor. They take their customers very casually. It takes 7-10 days just for the complaints to be attended. During AMC, they never replace with new component. The components are always re-conditioned and result in frequent problems. It seems that main interest of this company, is to keep AMC alive so that their minimum income is guaranteed from each customer. They should improve their service.
