[Resolved]  IFFCO-TOKIO GENERAL INSURANCE CO. LTD — Regarding “Bajaj Pulsar 150 CC DTS-I”

 Following are the details of the case in chronological order starting from oldest.

09/01/2010 Advance booking of Bajaj Pulsar 150-CC bike at M/s suryoday Bajaj Motrors,Palghar Rs.300/- cash paid
17/01/2010 Date of possession of bike from M/s Suryoday Bajaj against cash paid Rs.64700/-
20/01/2010 Date of Insurance as on cover note.
22/01/2010 Registration of bike at R.T.O. camp, Palghar.
23/01/2010 Date of accidental fire at midnight
24/01/2010 1) F.I.R. registered at Dahanu police station and information given to delar M/s Suryoday Bajaj.
2) In the evening around 16.00hrs police came and made Panchanama.
3) Representative of M/s suryoday Bajaj Motors, Palghar Mr. Jay came to saw condition of burn bike.
25/01/2010 I had made call to M/s suryoday Bajaj Motors, Vasai branch (H.O.) their officer Mr.Vishal Patil told me that they shall make arrange to intimate IFFCO-TOKIO Insurance company for the burn bike matter.
27/01/2010 16.00 hrs Due to surveyor not came till 16.00hrs I had made call to Mr.vishal patil (M/s.suryoday Bajaj motors,vasai) he told me that “you should call to IFFCO-TOKIO toll free no. for intimation of burn bike case”
17.00 hrs Inform to IFFCO-TOKIO toll free no. for insurance claim at 17.00 hrs ( Reference no.2-5HD54R )
28/01/2010 Spot survey done by surveyor Mr.Ashis Desai’s assistance Mr.Sagar.
29 & 30/01/2010 E-mail send to Bajaj Auto Ltd, Pune on their customer support email id & ask them to send their experts for investigating cause of burning new bike.
30/01/2010 19.30 hrs Bajaj Auto Ltd.,Pune inform me via sms on mobile at 19.30hrs that, “My service request has been registered vide Cr.no.19144 & their team will get in touch with me shortly”
01/02/2010 16.00 hrs I delivered the burn bike to M/s suryoday Bajaj motors, BOISAR showroom in the tempo as told by spot surveyor Mr. Sagar for estimation purpose.
01/02/2010 16.30 hrs Repair estimate workout according to Mr. Atul Sevalkar (suryoday Bajaj motors, Engineer) was around Rs.58000/- approximately.
I fill up IFFCO-TOKIO’s claim form & attached all necessary documents like original Tax receipt & cover note, Xerox copies of F.I.R.and handed over to Mr. Atul Sevalkar.
17.00 hrs Inform to IFFCO-TOKIO toll free no. for workshop survey at 17.00 hrs ( Referance no. 1-7RRHOC )
03/02/2010 Bajaj Auto Ltd., Pune informs me via sms on mobile at 16.12 hrs that, “Dear customer Ref.CR. No.19144. We trust your issue is resolved & hope you are happy with our service.”
Actually they told me that their team will came but no one was come to saw and investigate the cause behind burning new pulsar bike.
06/02/2010 Workshop survey was done by Mr.Prashant Patil.
17/02/2010 Contact to IFFCO-TOKIO toll free no for claim they given underwritten Andheri office Telephone no.
19/02/2010 Contact to IFFCO-TOKIO underwritten Andheri office they told me to contact surveyor Mr.Prashant Patil.
19/02/2010 19.30 hrs Contact to surveyor Mr.Prashant Patil he told me that due to clause 64 V.B.that is due to insurance company was not got their premium cheque in time my claim was rejected & IFFCO-TOKIO insurance company ordered him (Prashant Patil ) to close the case.

22/02/2010 Contact on phone to insurance company underwritten Andheri office but I was not get proper answers of question about settlement of claim & Harassments from their officers And told me to contact their Borivaly office manager Mr.Ashish Rampuriya for my queries.
23/02/2010 E-mail send to Bajaj customer support regarding above matter& send audio records of conversation with insurance company and request them to look in the matter. But not get any replay from Bajaj customer support to till date.

Workshop surveyor Mr.Prashant Patil inform us two options

(1)You will got maximum Rs.47,000/- against your insured sum Rs.56,260/- in the case of total loss.
{If I accept option no.1 I will lost Rs.18,000/- because I had paid Rs.65,000/- to M/s suryoday Bajaj motors pvt. Ltd.}

(2) I have to pay approximately Rs.15,000/-to repair my burn bike that is total cost of bike goes to Rs.80,000/- (65,000 +15,000 = Rs.80,000)


 What I Want:- In both options on my part I have to lose about Rs.20,000/- so I feel that dealer of bike M/s Suryoday Bajaj Motors Pvt. Ltd. and bike insurance company IFFCO-TOKIO GENERAL INSURANCE CO. LTD. cheating me by showing different clauses of their business policies, so I am not accepting both options & I will decided to go consumer court for justice & compensation for my already paid money + Expenditure of lawyer + Mental harassments from concern dealer & insurance company from 23/01/2010 to till date

We had received discharge voucher against my motor vehicle claim. This voucher was generated on 12/04/2010. It’s amount of rs. 24283/- but my Insure Declare value is 32378/-
I have been submitted all supporting documents for that but I am not agree with discharge voucher amount. When I was made a call in Iffco Tokyo (Baroda Branch) and also visited Ahmadabad branch. They are revert me you don’t have second key of your vehicle that’s why company deduct 25% claim amount from your IDV. After get back this answered I was told them I have already submitted resone of lost my second key with court notary letter. But they are not agree of passing full IDV amount of my policy No: 42244284. My claim No is 31700799.

Do the needful help.

suryoday Bajaj — Insurance policy not found

Dear Sir/Madam
I am Peeyush Dubey and i bought Bajaj pulsur-150 Byke from Suryodaya Mira Road with Insurance but i have not got Insurance policy to till date.
I follow many times but he give me time only today i visit Iffco-Tokio Insurance company they told me that we don't have record for that cover not (cover not given me by suryodaya ). My insurance expiry date is[protected]which is mention on cover note).
It is requested to you please help me because they don't give me proper response and provide me justification.
