[Resolved] Income Tax Department — Cancellation of my PAN card | |
I was allotted a pan card AEOPM3580P. The department says that I was allotted another card to me, which has not reached me till date. The original card was allotted long back. As a Manager of Nationalised Bank, I was submitting my returns and had opened DP accounts and had done many transactions using the same. But now the department has unilaterally disabled my card and is asking me to get a duplicate of the card which i had never received. I had sent a complaint and request to Income Tax Dept, Cochin as well another one to Finance Minister to restore my earlier card and disable the non-existant one. Due to above mistake, please cancelled My above PAN card no.,
I have already applied for New PAN Card
I once again request you to please cancelled the above PAN card as soon as possible and send us the cancellation confirmation

I was alloted a pan card with the no ADPPR5735F.I was using that card for last 15 yrs, all my form 16 are having the same pan no. I was in Indian Navy and retired on 31/08/2011 after completion of 15 years of glorious service. Unfortunately I lost my pan card two years back. I made all the formallities and applied the card. But I did not get the new one, then i mail to nsdl site and they are guided me to go to some nearest income tax office. I went to "aaikar bhawan" in kolkata. After a long verification they told me that I was initially issued with two pan card, and the card that I was issued and used in all my documentation was lapsed a long back and the original card was not issued to me ever. I was instructed to apply the pan card with the new no. AFCPR6949G. I was applied with the new no. and get the pan card of my name. Now problem is that I joined in Indian audit and account department now I have to give my details about my pan card as the card has the new no it will become constraint to my future financial transaction. Moreover as a pensioner I am getting pension from navy where the old pan no is mentioned all returns including form 16 is having the old pan no. But in cag the new no is mentioned. So the same person with two pan no will be a serious issue as my knowledge. So my humble request is please change my old pan no in all financial documents (form 16) with the new one.My old form 16 with the lapse pan no is hereby attached for your reference.

I have received PAN card no -AAFHB0307Q few years back in that 4th character H become a issue as every where i was applied this no they said H is belongs to Family not personnel and asked me to change the Card NO.
In this regard i applied another card and received new no BSFPB2823N on same Name.
Hence i would like to cancel the old PAN Card -AAFHBO3O7Q.
Kindly suggest how do i go forward in this regard.

once i applied for my pan card through a tax consultant and i got the no.
which is (ANEPM2738E) but the card never reached to me and as the card
and the no. need very often to produce for various purpose and as it

getting any feedback and my card too so i request to all concerend

We have established Pvt. Ltd. company. Department has been allotted to us PAN no. on said firm. But now we have dissolved our above reference company. Hence we now required to cancel our PAN no. of said company. Please give me procedure for cancellation of the same.
