[Resolved]  Income Tax Department — IT refund not received

Housewife — Non receipt of PAN submitted for correction

I had submitted my application along with all enclosures plus original PAN Card submitted at the your IT PAN Service Center, thane with PSA code 1MH4117 and the acknowledgment coupon number CSF[protected] dated 05th July, 2008. Susequently I had sent photo copy of passport / affidavit as a proof of my father name which needs to be corrected. The father name was wrongly mentioned though it was correctly writen in the origional application form. It is not fair on the part o[censored]TITSL for their silence inspite of writing all top officials. Why the decency is construed as weekness driving us seek the intervention of higer Ups. Please get me the status and final resolution as I am not able to any major financial transaction which PAN card required.
I fail to understand that such a estabilished and ISO certified public sector remain unconcerned on such matter needing urgent attendtion. I can not even apply for new PAN card having allotted a PAN card by Income TAX authorities.

The UTITSL should reply and just can not keep silent on such importatnt documents.

IT Refund — wanted to know the assessment year of the refund i received

Sir, I have received Income tax refund last month.
I wanted to know whether the refund is of the financial year 2007-08 or 2006-07.
i.e., is there a possibility of the IT department refunding the surplus of this year within 4-5 months.

My PAN NO is BCEPS6735B.I had filed my returns for theassessment year 08-09 Electronically ( e-returns through internet) and had submitted the form in Khandeshwar(Panvel, NAvi Mumbai) IT office on 12th July 08 . I also got the confirmation mail from IT department and the E-filing Acknowledgement Number is [protected].
Also, the IT office at Khandeshwar has returned me the acknowledgement with SEAL and the Acknowledgement no is [protected].
Still I have not got the refund of Rs.20870.

Income Tax Department — NON REFUND OF EXCESS IT DEDUCTED

My PAN number is ACMPS1006J. For the assessment year 2008-09 I submitted IT Returns at Salary Ward-III(4), Chennai on 30th July 2008 and the acknowledge number is [protected]. I made an request for refund of Rs.22129/- excess deducted by my employer along with all papers.

Till date there is no reply.

On going through the Income Tax Department site I could not find any e-mail id or phone number of the grievances office. Hence I approach this forum.

Hope you can take up the matter and solve my problem.

Inspite of repeated written/verbal reminders, we have not received our Income Tax Refund amounting to Rs.16, 485/- for the Assessment Year - 2006-07.
