Income-Tax Department — IT Refund not received

Ref # - [protected]; Refund of 28014 for year 2007-08 not received yet. How fair is it that we don't get what the Dept owes us but are expected to pay FILL IT for another financial yr 08-09 just another month/two down the line? I was advised by the IT consultant to call 23242690, apparently no phone's working with that number. So...can we have what IT Dept owes me for 07-08 refunded, before I'm asked to pay up for 08-09? Thanks!

I filed my income tax return vide No. 763050 dated 1.8.2008 ( financial year 2008-09) for a refund of Rs. 33113/- which has not been received till date. My Bank Account No. is[protected] Barclays Bank) MICR Code No, is[protected] where the refund is to be credited. I am now a senior citizen and tired ot visiting the Income tax office Mayur Bhawan Connaught Place New Delhi where the return was filed in circle No. 40(1) Room No 138-A.

Kindly help me to get my refund.

I have not received the refund for my return for the Assessment year[protected]. As directed by the department i submitted the return in the post office lacated at BSZ Marg, NewDelhi-110002. When enqired with the authority at Mayur Bhawan i am told that they have no record of the return.
My PAN No. is BAPPS4113Q.

Even i know more then five such cases where people have deposited their returns in post office and even after 2 years they have not received the refund

I am still awaiting my refund for the yr.[protected] even after it been cleared from the IT DEPT. i HAVE visited the office several times and have told them about the matter but no action has been taken.
